    Omg thank you for recording this it for about 50% over the sun then we got clouds 😖 that was a 12 hour ride wasted…

    Its intriguing the corona of the sun seemingly flashes around the moon upon full eclipse. Whereas most of it is just a red ball in the video.

    You should do a video of the next international space station solar/sun transit (if possible).

    Where was this footage taken from? I am in Fayetteville NC, we only got about 95% and it was only barely noticeably darker. Pretty lame!

      You have to be in 100% totality. Not 95%, not 99.999999%, 100%. It will still be as bright everywhere both 100% and it will not look anything like totality if you’re outside of the path.

      Yay, they blocked up even more of the sun when it was still in the partial eclipse stage.

    • @janetgriffiths7200
      @janetgriffiths7200 7 лет назад +1

      Yes you can. The sunlight is so powerful it can fry your retinas in less than a second, and it's painless. The sun dosen't have to be in eclipse for it to happen either. When the eclipse is total, it is safe to view with the naked eye (that's after the diamond ring, and all sun is gone). People burn their retinas trying to view the partial phases of an eclipse without the protective glasses.

    • @redfires5548
      @redfires5548 7 лет назад

      You are right, a second will only damage your retina a tiny bit but not to the point of leaving you blind. When we look straight at our everyday sun there is visible light our body perceives therefore our eyes contract before there is any significant damage. The problem is when the moon blocks that visible light, we don't feel the need to look away because there is no strong visible light to bother us. Although there is no strong visible light radiation is still present is silently, painlessly frying your retina.

      Dude are you stupid. The Video is real. They recorded the whole thing then they do a fast forward. How do you not know that. Like seriously. You must be from a special ED School. (p.s The only reason why this video looks fake to you is because the sun looks different. IT LOOKS DIFFERENT ON EVERY CAMERA SERIOUSLY) (another p.s @derekerbe The guy who didn't learn cameras.
