@@vladimirilles339 When I look back at the video now, I know cyl 5 was the culprit, and that's the fifth cylinder back on the RIGHT side of the engine. But why is the bump felt in left exhaust pipe? I found a pic of the internals of the exhaust box, and the right banks crosses over inside the rear box and exits the left exhaust pipe. Mystery solved.

I’ve used my iPhone for inspection of hard to get to places and wonder if videoing the exhaust in slow motion mode would make it easier to catch the misfires when you replay the video ?
dont know if you guys gives a damn but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch all of the new movies on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my gf for the last months xD
The tick you talk about can this be heard whilst driving the vehicle? Only when test driving a 2007 DB9 Volante my wife and I thought we heard what was and sounded like something hitting the windscreen which went away. The engine was up to temperature. Never noticed on the first drive with roof up but did slightly when roof down. Just about to buy so your feedback is appreciated.
When you see the laptop display it's misfire results, what is still acceptable? Obviously the DBS was off the scale but what if they are all showing just small red bars on the bottom of the the graph, dies that mean we need to investigate and fix the issue because leads, plugs and coil packs will all start to break down and can initiate small misfires
Do you take questions on here? I’ve been tracking DB9 prices for a long time. For some reason for the last 6-12 months dealers don’t seem to be stocking many if at all 2009-2010 cars. They have older cars in the £40k region but then it’s straight to 2012-2013 cars at £60k+. Is it simply that the 2009-2010s aren’t coming onto the market?
Is the misfire issue more pervasive in the earlier V12's? What about the Vantage V12S motors on the later cars 2014-2016/17? All the misfire issues and videos I see refer to the older cars (DB9 most common). Any thoughts?
Just out of curiosity... is there any reason why Aston doesn’t fit some kind of metal grid in between the down pipe and the cat to stop the injection of parts of the cat, or is broken parts of the cat too small to put let’s say y a metal grid in between being effective?

Always great advice.
Good vid giving owners the knowledge to check misfires. Would be useful if a video was made of a misfiring v12 so we could hear it.

So in this case a Main Aston Martin Dealer says the car has no misfire and is perfectly fine? Unbelievable.
Fantastic again.
