    I was in the hospital this July, diagnosed with fatty liver. I took it serious, dropped 20- lbs. by giving up high carbs, minimal fat and no alcohol. Last week, 5 months later, my blood test say I have no more fatty liver. I am 77, so never give up.

      Stop the sugar completely! Stop “vegetable” oils! Use good fats/oils! Walk 30 minutes (minimum) five days a week (minimum). Eat organic and no GMO’s! I can remember listening to my parents and grandparents talking about the healings that could come from drinking and bathing in sulphur water. Being in TN, there are a lot of sulphur springs and many had well water that contained sulphur. Before all the medications and medical treatments, sick people were often sent to places in the country for the exposure to the fresh air and the sulphur and mineral springs. There were even hotels built in these areas for people to come to for health benefits. My mother was born in 1934. She was a sickly child. Her doctor told my grandmother to send her to her uncles farm to stay for a while. They had sulphur well water. So she spent several months living on the farm with her grandparents and uncle. She quickly got better and completely healed from all her symptoms. Including being prone to getting pneumonia. Which back then, could be very hard to survive. Especially for children.

    Med schools aren't always the place where future drs learn the essentials of nutrition. I have a son going through med school. After the first two years of book learning mainly, he and his classmates were tested ( Step one), a major test for all of them. He prepared well according to what he learned, but he was shocked by how much they were tested about drugs instead of knowledge on diseases. Some investigation, they found that drug companies have a huge LEG in testing medical school students. Making them pill pushers, starting early. Thank God most of them are thinking human beings.

      You might also consider a high quality ORGANIC olive oil. (To make sure it has not been contaminated by the manufacturer with low grade, unhealthy inflammatory causing seed oils, place it in the refrigerator for the first few days. If it solidifies, it is pure olive oil. If it remains in a liquid form, return it to your store. Once the olive oil passes your experiment, be sure to keep it at room temp.) If you prefer, you don't have to sprinkle it on your food. Take it by the tablespoon at least twice a day. So many healthy benefits, and it will also help keep you regular.

    About six years ago I cured myself of an incurable liver disease. Cirrhosis of the biliary ducts. I eliminated that, as best I can tell, by a 3-month juice fast that featured a ridiculously large amount of carrots. Also greens and almost no fruit.
    Unfortunately, the doctor who diagnosed me did it more than 10 years ago and no longer has those records. My VA doctors reran the test because I kept demanding they run regular liver panels on me and my liver enzymes kept coming back normal. The test came back NEGATIVE. Cured of an incurable disease!
    They said my civilian doctor must have been wrong. Not likely.
    It had taken him two years of testing everything else to arrive at that diagnosis. He ran the same test they did and it came back POSITIVE.
    DANG, I wish I had that original test because it’s reputed to be 98% accurate.
    To this day my liver enzymes are normal. Even though I have prostate cancer, diabetes, obesity with a large waist circumference. All the things that practically DICTATE a fatty liver. But my latest ultrasound showed only small amounts of fat on my liver.

    Good job at debunking the debunker, doc. Even if you are not a medical doctor, your concise presentation is less nebulous than what a lot of professional doctors try in patronizing their patient with their self importance.
    Liked the way you clear up the 'contispation' with logic and factually correlating information.

    Thank you Dr. Ekberg! After watching one of your Ketosis videos 3 weeks ago, I made up my mind to work on getting healthy. I’m a insulin dependent T2D that was eating a high carb diet and killing myself. I stopped drinking Dirt Coke and switched to water. I also eliminated 90% of the carbs from my diet. My insulin usage went from 200+ units to 20 units a day within 2 weeks! I feel much better and I’m on the road to better health thank you for your great videos that explain what’s going on in my body. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Who else is in love with this man? Seriously though these videos are amazing and when it doesn't sink in the first time you can keep going back until it does. Knowing the how and the why is much more motivating than just being told what to do. Can you let me know if you've done any videos or segments in others that explain Carbohydrates on nutritional labels please? I live in the UK so when Carbohydrates are presented on food labels it will give the number of carbs in grams ie 45.5g then it will say 'of which sugars' 3.8g. Does that mean sugar that has been added?

    • @mayastic9570
      @mayastic9570 3 года назад

      no sugars means glucose and fructose, the ones that give high dopamine response and they are a type off carbohydrate. It doesn't mean they are added but they can be ofcourse.
      Also pls don't follow all the advice this guy gives he's not a doctor and you should consult an actual proffesional if you have a problem.
      Livers don't need detoxing and him actually making fun of an actual doctor for exposing him is vile.
