Between Frank Black and Robbie Pollard from Guided by Voices, these two elevated pop music to unbelievable heights. Can never get enough of either. Deserving of so many more accolades and recognition. This record is a masterpieces from start to end. Thank you so much Mr. Black. Timeless, genius and essential. Spread the gospel of Frank and Rob. None of this mentions the cult like dedication of their fans and the wonderful reciprocity of these artists appreciation. Few recordings or artists are so fantastically timeless. True writers, artists and performers of their time. Much more recognition and respect is due. By ū

    Lyrics
This wrinkle in time, I can't give it no credit
I thought about my space and I really got me down
    (got me down)
Got me so down, I got me a headache
My heart is crammed in my cranium and it still knows how to pound
    I was counting the rings
And I fell me into sleep
I peeked to see if you were way back when
    I was counting the trees
Until a day when there was one
I'd hoped beneath, asleep is where that you had been
This wrinkle in time, I can't give it no credit
I thought about my space and I really got me down
    (got me down)
Got me so down, I got me a headache
My heart is crammed in my cranium and it still knows how to pound
    Well, I found you
    Maybe you can help me
    And I can help you
This wrinkle in time, I can't give it no credit
I thought about my space and I really got me down
    (got me down)
Got me so down, I got me a headache
My heart is crammed in my cranium and it still knows how to pound
Got me so down, I got me a headache
My heart is crammed in my cranium and it still knows how to pound

This is from one of those albums where each time you listen to it you debate which is the best song ... and which one you wish the PIXIES would do live. I find it interesting that so many of my " favorite artists " are on 4AD.

Just recently was listening to Head Carrier, sound of which was very reminiscent of Frank Black solo albums. Decided to check his music and here I see a newly uploaded awesome music video for an awesome song! Great!
