The SUV craziness of America is not safe from any brand. Italian automaker, #Maserati is the latest member with the all-new #Levante crossover introduced for 2018. For 2019, two new V8 powered versions arrive: GTS and Trofeo, this GTS trim has the Porsche Cayenne Turbo on its radar and is the ONLY SUV on the market to be powered by a #Ferrari built 3.8L twin-turbo V8 with 550 HP. Redline Reviews it’s such a disappointment to see a car that could have been so much better just to chryslerified, the design is something truly beautiful but it’s competitors are just much better
Everybody can criticize this car for its interior quality, technology, and the interior. But you can’t argue about the exterior styling, Maserati logo, power, and exhaust
I'm addicted to watching redline, these are cars i will never even see let alone drive. I just love watching, I don't know why. This and consumer report's, " talking cars"

This is more like a 70k car, the rest on the price tag is for the badge
in 2018 the maserati badge doesnt mean anything more than a bmw or mercedes badge. Especially after fca stepped in. Just like the ghibli, this too is overpriced. Id take the 85k stelvio and spend the other 35k on a 5 year old maserati gt haha

The price is high until you get $20k off. Got an ~$87k Levante for ~$64k. I love it.
Excellent review, Sofyan! The Levante definitely seems like a very luxurious and performance oriented Crossover.
Some of the part sharing is a bit disappointing, but at least it doesn't look too cheap. Nevertheless, that exhaust note was absolutely mean sounding!!!

I would suggest taking shots outside of the car when you accelerate
I think it's good that unimportant FCA parts like turn signals and infotainment screens are shared because it makes the lavante more familiar for every day use

I had those same window switches in my 2007 Dodge Nitro.
After those accelerations powertrain lights came on and it went to the shop 😂

Push button start unit and the headlight control knob can also be found in the Dodge Journey and other FCA vehicles.

I’m pretty sure the rear seat heaters are controlled by the front center screen.
That interior is something I would expect in a top of the line Altima, not a 100k vehicle!

Hi Sofyan! The central armrest has a very small space inside because of the 4 zone climate control (if you choose the normal two zone, it's bigger and cooled). This car has rear heated seats, but the controls are in the lower part of the door.
Ps. I drive a Levante quite often (2017, so obviously not a GTS) and I think that you did an excellent review, you pointed out every single good and bad aspect of this vehicle! Bye 👋
this car at a glance the front of the Maserati looks like the Mazda CX 5 with KIA Rio rear lights.

boozer74 We always talk about the price of the vehicle at the end. We feel it’s best for you guys to see the car for what it is BEFORE you know the cost. That way you can make your own informed decision if it’s worth what the manufacture is asking.
Drinking game: take a shot every time you hear ‘FCA’
There is something odd about the wheel well shape/spacing from the tires. It is not even all the way around. The gap appears much larger at the top and at the front/rear of the tires.
This is a very beautiful and looks powerful SUV. The interior is premium, I don't see any bad thing about this car except probably the infotainment system it's a bit outdated, for sure it drives and handles very well.
I like the small size of the touchscreen, it avoids the tacked on pepboys appearance, it would be even better if it had a cover or could be hidden. I hate the night time distraction.
I think this is a sharp car...a bit out of my price range but went for the Jaguar F-Pace Prestige. Love it. I also considered the Alpha Stelvio but liked the Jag better.

It can be reasonably argued that they don't live up to their price point, but they are certainly nice and desirable. If I won the lottery, I would probably choose this over something like a cayenne or x5, 'cause it's different and less common yet just as capable. I would, ofcourse, have to test drive them all first though.

Some how i feel like this car aside from the front end is very 2005ish. I cant wait for the next generation of this one already. They need to make the vents on the side like the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. Body vents instead of chrome pieces. take more notes from the DBS and the JGC. Muscular and angular.
I agree I have infinity fx35 2005, a lot of similarities in the style and all, but my car is worh under 10k lol
Get a loaded Ram 1500 and save 60k. You'll even get heated and cooled rear seats, not to mention way more practicality.

it really depends what your looking for in my opinion the levante looks better but the stelvio q has better value, they both drive nicely but can be sporty and engaging, no one is better than the other theyre both amazing cars in their respective ways

Probably one of the biggest reasons I would ever buy one of these is because of the UConnect.
Did you forget your gimbal? The outside shots were a bit shaky

I don’t like the interior of the Levante, but I love the engine. I’d want this car more if it had interior of Stelvio Quadrifoglio with this engine.
Seeing all the crossovers available, It seems to be very difficult to design a cross over rear end that does not look like an old Daewoo hatchback.
That cargo area is not all that tiny to me. How big do you want it to be so you can fit a couch in it lol

It also that coupe back. At least if it also gave u some height it be ok. But it beautiful SUV.
From what I remember reading it was supposed to source the jeeps chassis but was in Gstaad built on Ghibli platform. Disagree on the infotainment. The uconnect base is one of the best in the business. There's nothing to improve except a bigger size but why? Is perfectly. I have 2nd thoughts when I think of giving up my uconnect.
