    Levante GTS all day long! This is what luxury all about! Tech doesn’t mean luxurious, means modern and modern isn’t a synonym of luxury... That V8 sound is a blast, for me a no brainer! Thanks Alex, great review !!!

    Just today I bought the Maserati Levante S 2018 for 105,000$ fully loaded option , white color exterior and black interior with red stiches, carbon fiber all around. I just love it , by so far your review is the most factual objective rational and positive feedback about the car among all other reviews on the web which I found (some) to be biased, lame and hateful. I’m proud of my decision more than ever before and YES, I would do it again. Moreover, if I had the budget for the V8 one I would also definitely would have bought it. I clicked the subscribe button. Thanks a lot and keep on the great work!

  • @MrHav1k
    @MrHav1k 5 лет назад +9

    I think it looks good, and the concept of a Ferrari engine in an SUV is awesome....
    Everything else about it though isn't worth the price. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio destroys everything under $200k in the performance SUV segment pretty much. Only when you get into the tier of the Lamborghini Urus, or Bentley Bentayga do you start getting better than that.
    The Maserati name will be worth shit in a couple years if they don't step their game up.

  • @JakeDrives1
    @JakeDrives1 5 лет назад +2

    Overall, it's very "meh". This GTS adds the spice needed to draw in some more buyers though. I must say, I've wanted to own one of these FCA Maserati's since they came back onto the scene. This GTS trim offering might finally push me to go and drive one!

    Thanks for pointing that out on the uconnect os. It is excellent. The only thing I don't like is the heated/cooled seats being integrated. Of course they auto activate but only for the driver. There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with Maserati using it. Alfa should take a hint. The fact that the map graphics don't look like tv is a silly argument. It does what is supposed top do. I reluctantly traded my 300C for a Q50S and giving up uconnect was hardest part. Luckily the Intouch system is pretty good as well.

    This Levante is a beautiful SUV. I'm kinda surprised that Maserati and other makes do not use an Audi MMI type system, which is a full generation better than any of the competitor's. As a happy Lexus owner, I have the same complaint about the nav system in my newer RX. Not a deal breaker, just a point of reference. Alex, I'd be splitting hairs with a preference to either the GLE, this Levante or even the Q5 or Q7 if I didn't already truly enjoy my RX350.

      Look at the Interior and tech of the 2019 Audi Q8.
      Look at the Interior and tech of the Range Rover Velar.
      Notice how the Levante doesnt really match up to those standards.
      But if you look at the interior and tech of a 2008 Lexus, BMW or Mercedes then its very similar.
      What im saying is that the Levante isnt really a refined luxury product...it excels at being a performance SUV but in terms of having the latest and greatest in comfort and technology it isnt up to standard.
      Does that mean its a bad car? No, its just a bad value.

    • @DarrenPersad
      @DarrenPersad 5 лет назад +2

      Look and feel are two very different things. Experience the interior of a Levante or any of its siblings, then compare. The craftsmanship is stellar. Coming from both Audi and Maserati ownership, I can say, without a doubt, I would prefer the interior of my Quattroporte. However, you will most likely find more technology and forward-thinking features in many of its competitors, so weigh the technology versus the pure experience and quality of a Maserati before you buy.
