Finally somebody actually shows how small everything really is and you actually get a realistic view..I watch these dudes build these things all the time and to me the dont look small but in ur hands they look like your rebuilding a hot wheel lol which actually made me realize I'd lose wayy to many parts lol
Hey bud, just buy a set of gladiator links, that's what I did n I'm glad I did so. That stretched wheel base is awesome. Everything will work with those gladiator links!
Oh an those tires are legit, injora is killing it with the 24th tires. I have a pair of those n a pair of 64mm injora n they will out climb almost any expensive tire all day
Sorry about another comment but I would recommend running full droop/no springs for good ride height. Also you can get some of your shorter links to make a 4-link front, it works way better in my opinion. As for your body, I would suggest some magnets glued to the roof panel of that chassis. Have a good one!
You mite be able to find some oil shocks and other odd items that most people have forgotten about. Look for Losi Trail Trekker. It was out years ago, and its 1/24.
Nice start Josh. Not sure where you're going to cram a battery, but the Helios 600 is far and above better than the stock ones that come from Axial. Higher C and runs longer in a pretty much same size package.
I'm not sure if you have one at all local, but Ace hardware has mini straight cut aircraft shears/snips that I find super useful for working on smaller pieces But this thing is lookin' good! Perhaps a 1:10 Crawler Rat Rod is in the cards for the future?
just get a good ole EMAXX servo, not the best or worst but they work ok and are cheap on Amazon. Not sure you mentioned it but where can someone get a body like that?
@RC Everyday I agree with the previous person's comment about the Emaxx servos. I got a four pack from Amazon for only $20 last year and I'm extremely impressed with them for our SCX24s. I can send you the link on Instagram later, if I find it.
What do you use to bend and shape the chassis for your custom builds such as the semi ratrod from 4yrs ago? Also,How do you weld the joints within the chassis?
The person that gave you the first box of parts did the hobby a big favor. Loving your approach to this platform.
Now that is bad and it's awesome looking mini rc rat rod truck

It looks like Bob has his own 5th scale truck lol. 👌👍👍

Is a Mini Rat Rod a Mouse Rod?
😅 the mouse 🐭 rod is a great name
That thing looks sweet!
Holy crap that's cool. I need to get an scx24. I feel like I could design a whole single print chassis/body for the thing. Sick.
It's awesome Josh

Nice. Steppin' into the 24 world. Love it.
This is gonna be awesome..
With that body printed like that you should make it look like wood haha it's got like a wood look to the print and then it would be siiick

Maybe one day I’ll do a 1/10 crawler rat. Every time I start one I tend to wind up slamming it. Lol
@@RCeveryday slam it so far it's upside down!

The body came from ebay. Not the best quality print but usable
