- In this video I build, run, and review the new MB24 chassis kit from Meus Racing for the Axial SCX24! This is a fantastic looking kit and includes an ABS body, nylon tubular cage, and carbon fiber frame rails. Built and optimized for the SCX24 C10/JLU/Bronco wheelbase (132mm), it will completely transform the look of your build!

I was wondering if the white body comes with stickers, does it?
Update: it just arrived and the white body does come with stickers:)
I love that they included stickers from all the different creators! Better than stocking dozens of stickers from the same brand
So do we!
Thank you for the step by step. I’m new to this hobby, one thing I noticed when ordering upgrades is that there aren’t any instructions with the parts. Most are intuitive but some aren’t, which leaves me to taking screenshots from vids to figure it out. I appreciate your videos.
Welcome to the club!
It looks amazing, I can’t wait to get my hands on one to revive an older rally raid project, specifically with the Furitek rocketman transmission and Godzilla motor
Its womderful whenever you build or buy a truck you can stare at for hours! That's cool that you and the shop mini got your logos on it!
Excellent review, thank you for what you do for the community!
I'm ready to go, followed your Scx24 Bronco build, $100 Scx24 upgrade and just got my Meus mb24 kit, have my Bronco and a load of parts, you've got me back into Rc, mindfulness bro!!
I'm in the process of building one as well (same color). The thing I like the most about this is the versatility. If you so choose, you could remove the ABS body and cage from the CF frame and have a great performing chassis setup as well. Throw a lexan body on it and you have a good performing rig.
@capecrawlers Adam, I was able to get the front laid out better by moving the upper shock mount location to where the chassis rail cross brace is located. You have to Dremel out a small section of either side of the roll cage, but I do not believe anything suffers from this because it was a four touch point piece and you are just removing the front touch points. I am able to get mine to climb 41 degree inclines and crawls really well. I also removed the spare tire and replaced it with a stock SCX24 wheel/tire as it weighed less. I did some other weight distribution tricks and really happy at how well this performs:
Great info!
Man that looks good. And very affordable
Thanks for covering that servo mount! Nobody else talked about it, nor the manual and I couldn’t figure out why it was in there.
Great video! I've been anxiously waiting for your video to.come out since you started teasing it in your short videos the other day. Mine just came in the mail today and I'm almost done building it. Super cool that it came with Cape Crawlers stickers!!!
This is insane. I would never have seen this without your video. This just might derail my sleeper C10 project
That thing is very well priced for what you get. Meus is killing it, super cool to include people like you in thier stickers also. My only gripe would be the tire on the back instead of it just being a solid plastic back.
Looks so good! Great job on the build! Might have to build one myself!
I definitely plan on building one they look so good!
Mine just showed up today. I got the white body so I could do my own paint on it. I impulse bought this thinking I was going to revive an old Deadbolt, but with all the upgrades I have planned, there wouldn't be much left of the Deadbolt anyway. So it's going to be a scratch build.
Looks awesome. I only run my fcx’s now, scx24’s have been on the shelf for years now. Looks like it’s time to pull them out and mod them up. Thanks for the content, always look forward to the vids, 👍🏻.
Awesome! Thanks for the excellent video and details. This kinda seals the deal, I gotta get one.
I dont remember where u were at when i started watching but dang ur stickers in a manufacturer's kit you made it lol😊
It's definitely an awesome looking kit. I might have to pick one up 😎🤘
I love it! Mine should be here sometime between tomorrow and the 23rd! Lol, I got the green and blue one.
I will be putting their ripper together, yeah I really like that body. I’ll catch you on the next one
I love it , I think it looks good the way it sits 😊
MEUS… I want a trx4m version of this… PLEASE!
Will admit, the body does look pretty sick, bro! 🔥🔥🔥
That thing is a good looking rig!👍
Awesome video Adam 👍 cool looking truck bud ! 😊
I love this kit. It is a great build for the scx Bronco chassis. However, I found out that the MEUS servo mount did not work with my stock AXIAL servo. The MEUS servo mount uses a 9 gram servo and the AXIAL servo is smaller.
nice I had seen these on amazon and wondered if they were any good compared to the aluminum chassis one but cost way more.. think I'll pick one up. thanks for the review,,,, any update on the new course?
that's cool with your stickers. looks good. Would have liked a little more build time but I understand your time is precious. More pro's and cons and things you came across that made you pause during the build? You have some insights that are really good others just don't pick up on.
Look awesome my friend!😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I just finished my meu build but in green. I love the body. Cant stop staring at it. What shocks and rear lower shock mount are you using?
Can you do a review about the meus built in oil shocks? Your video's are 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the shout out. ;)
Awesome machine❤
Man i was hoping this thing wasn’t as cool as it is… i think i’ll like this way better than my injora rock buggy
Super cool build
Are you able to use the ax24 platform with rear steer on this ? Room for the rear servo ?
Love to see a build / review of the ripper too
Nice work!! Looks awesome. Would it be terribly difficult to make the stock body swappable with the Meus once this is setup? Or is the stock one void after this?
I love the look of the stock and the Meus! I want to have both, but just have one Scx24 Bronco! 😅
I would love to see one for the TRX4M platform.
I just ordered the red one, im going to attempt my first build off my one scx24 that I don't use. I really hope those are not waterslide decals
Not water decals thankfully!
Au top tu conseil quoi comme variateur et moteur pour un scx24 merci d avance
I’m gonna put the proline 50mm oil filled shocks on it and also put the meus 52 degree steering axels on the mb24
What length front links did you use? I need to push mine out a little bit
could you relocate the shocks similar to how you built your gladiator ?
Should put the trailing arm links on it
Cool body indeed
Kind of new to this hobby. So you could/should start with the Bronco or C10 to do this rather than the Deadbolt or do they all have the same wheelbase?
What size wheels are on this truck?? Looks greats!!
Right now I have a scx24 c10 that is built up and I want to buy a scx24 deadbolt to but on this frame. I am relatively new to rc crawling and was wondering if the deadbolt would work with this?
Mqn I really hope they come out with old school blazer or toyota truck look alike. Every ford I ever touched breaks down, I dont wanna take any chances ya know!!
I proudly have your stickers on my truck
Love it, thank you!
What is your thoughts on this body fitting on the TRX4-M chassis …. ?
It’s a tiny little body. I wouldn’t attempt it
I know you're busy and I'm not the only person here asking you questions, but I'd really appreciate hearing your answers to my questions before these go outta stock. Thank you, sir.
Wife bought me my first Axial, an AX24 XC1. I understand this MEUS bronco kit is designed for the scx24. Would it be possible for this kit to work on my AX24 with Gladiator front/ rear links/drive shafts? Or the c10 bronco jlu links/drive shafts?
Your videos are top notch! I followed your indoor course build videos to build my own.
The tricky part is that there are no independent upper link mounts like there are on the ax24. You would need to convert to an scx24 skid, which wouldn’t be a bad thing. It will work best with c10 links and driveshafts
@@CapeCrawlers understood. Appreciate your quick response! And for sharing your knowledge and experience with me and the rest the rc community. Thank you! 🤙
What size tires are you running
Do you think a ax24 would work with this build?
Hey Adam you have always been very knowledgeable and responsive so let me thank you ahead of time. Built one of these for my son... Having trouble with the lights if they are plugged in the correct way to be able to turn them on and off, the grill lights are very dim but if i flup the plug they work fine BUT they can't be turned on and off with the transmitter.... Am i missing something or doing something wrong??
What radio are you using? Stock radios are tricky when trying to switch lights on and off. An aftermarket radio/receiver will give you more functionality if you want to reliably switch them on and off
@@CapeCrawlers the v2 electronics is what it's currently running... Keeping in mind that this build is for my 6 year old, bugdet friendly is fine... What would you recommend??
very cool i need one
what shocks are those
I was wanting to get this but was disappointed it's not for the deadbolt
You would simply need new suspension links, no?
That's pretty much the only difference.
Look fantastic! How did you adjust the MOFO ESC? I can't get rid of the stuttering on mine...
Mine was smooth from the get go thankfully. I just updated the kv numbers in the programmer and it worked smooth
I updated the KV too... I'll try to continue playing with the adjustments.
ok i want this now. that looks so cooooooool!!!!!!!!!
also how do you run flex blades? back only or in the front too?
also the meus body looks like th dakar bronco wich i find super cool
Only in the back.
Need it Ultra 4 capable
Will a 1/24 deadbolt work to swap over with this kit ?
It will not, the front end is too stubby.
Can you make a fast one? Maybe try the Mofo rc trailing arms on the rear but do a buzzsaw or a rocket man set up!
Rocketman is calling my name with this one
Are the lights water proof
Can someone please tell me if you can put a different chassis under there like the ugly AF or the Mazz designs cheat code chassis
I’m interested in buying a scx24 How would it cast me to get the set up you have as well with the new kit
Like this one? Around $600 all in
Try the new MEUS 2 speed transmission for the trx-4m
Got it on the bench as we speak 👍🏻
Two more questions. What are the red links from rear shock to rear axle called? And who sells them? Thank you.
They’re flex extensions. I like them because they lower the chassis height by setting the shocks back
@@CapeCrawlers got it. Thank you.
Would this kit work with the new Furitek Cayman Pro SZK? :D
Good question!
Please share the link for that Tire and Wheels.........
Wheels are from rcawd: rcawd.com/products/axial-scx24-1-beadlock-wheel-rim-counterweight-rcawd?variant=41853001269439¤cy=USD&gad_source=1
Tires are LGRP grippers
Anyone know if this is even possible to fit on a TRX4m? I know the body will be a tad small as the scale is different? But I’m a huge ultra4 racing fan and the Vaughn Gittin and Loren Healey bodies are sick!! Want one for my TRX4m
I would say no because the body is quite small. It feels tiny in person. It would be real challenging to squeeze it onto the M
@@CapeCrawlers awesome, thank you for the reply! Any future plans on using the new MEUS trailing arms for the Trx4m? Would love to see a video and install and your thoughts!
Do you think a steerable rear axle would work in this rig?
I think if you modified the rear spare tire carrier it could work. The rear servo is going to collide with the cage as it is right now.
@@CapeCrawlers Thanks for the info. I figured there would be some clearance issues, but i think it could possibly be done. I think one with 4 wheel steering would make an awesome rig.👍
Where do you get you flex blades??
Grizzly works RC on etsy
Can you do an updated video like this on the black bronco please 🥺
Yes I can do that
@@CapeCrawlers doing “YES” with my arm like napoleon dynamite 😂👍🏻
Could I use this chassis for the gladiator?
You can. I’ve seen folks run longer wheelbases on these without issues
@cape crawlers. What shocks are you running?
Power hobby 54mm
@@CapeCrawlersno springs on the 54mm?
Anyone know what those shocks are?
Powerhobby 54mm
If they make a 4Runner or a tocoma it’s over I would make 10 more builds 😂
Will a gladiator work for this?
The rear would be very stretched. Its possible but you would want some long shocks to make that work
I’m putting a furitek Godzilla in one to rip the beach!!
I went for a Toyota hard body but this makes me second guess my decision
Why? Why do you do this to me?
I’ve seen this kit several times but had no interest until your vid… Also love that it has your logo. Love that you do this hobby with your son. Looks like my kids and I have a project for the weekend. Long time subscriber, first comment.
Thanks for watching!
Anyone run it on gladiator links?
It’s not too heavy anymore ? Seems better not rolling over anymore
I didn’t weigh the stock body. I should have compared them. But you’re right, it seems more planted
Can’t wait for more videos on this 💪🏽
your bronco turned into a bronco R
It’s supposed to be a desert racer not a crawler
👍👍😎😎
It's not the build, it's those tires that suck. Throw some swamp kings or ruptures on it & test again.
Am I the only one just learning it's pronounced ME-US and not MUZE 😅
I learned the hard way after I got blasted in the comments section from an early video 😂😂
Dudes i've bought a lot of different parts across the spectrum for these little machines. Meus and Injora are really pretty junk products, it's the cheapest stuff I'll ever buy for these. Wheels, tires, steering horns, maybe links. But these companies are not quality stuff. Look at LGRP or MOFO RC for nice stuff.
Uh… I think you are pretty off base here.
I came here to see if you fit the full size Komodo 😭😭 … I don’t have a bucket of motors to grab from unfortunately. This little SCX24 is driving me insane. First I did a Furitek Scythe chassis and hated it, then I bought the Injora CF Chassis and got it half build when this was released. Now I’m literally building it as I type this and the motor won’t fit. 🤦♂️🤦♂️ … I think this build is cursed lol
This rig is awesome! Can you use any axles with this? Trying to get super 8’s is a mission lol. Maybe like fcx24 axles or hobby plus cr18p axles? What axles would you recommend if super 8’s aren’t available? Awesome vid as usual!
I don’t see why not! As long as you maintain an scx24 skid and links I think you could build out the rest however you see fit
