For overlanders, those of us crossing the Darien Gap, the Promaster fits in a container. Saves thousands of bucks over RORO. cheers from Puerto Montt, Chile. In our Promaster 3500 Ext.
Solid overview of van options-every van has its strengths, and choosing the right one really depends on your needs. This video makes it so much easier. Great breakdown!
Great video going over each of the options within companies. Like the graphics If I could have what I wanted it would be the Ford classic. However, I have a high roof Ford Adventure Van built by Field Van. An outstanding builder and company.
Travato/ Pro master- Best selling class B RV in north America. Purchased mine in 2017 for $78,000. Living in it full-time ever since. I replace the battery myself and have had a few oil changes…. and a set of new tires(including an actual spare, Extra rim with tire)…. That’s it for maintenance cost. The exterior of the van, paint is protected by some kind of Boeing aircraft product. $1000 for six year guarantee. It still looks brand-new. Wider wheel width and lower center of gravity is why I chose pro master. With my understanding of physics this makes the most sense when it comes to handling. 59k floor plan…. The only all weather floor plan in existence??? A second entry point that can be isolated from the main cabin with shower pan, dedicated fan and dedicated heat. .

@@robp3431 The Ford Trail is a failed concept from a lift perspective as it's better to get a traditional Ford van and allow a company like Field Van to do the uplifting. I purchased the Adventure package which bundles needed tech at a discount and then used a Van Compass lift to add an actual 2" lift before adding tires. The Trail tires rub is something Field Van can correct yet clearance needs more lifting.
Mercedes 4cyl diesel-powered engine not enough to get it down the road comfortably People think that comments online means your looking for a conversation
02:34 nobody, who knows something about diesel engines, does an oil change after 20.000 mls. Even if Mercedes tries to tell you, that this is enough....
Damn!! The Ford Classic is amazing!!!
@@Vernon1xx thank you 🤙
How much is that ford classic?
What you are saying is so interesting you do NOT need the music as a distraction.

Ford Classic!!
Very interested to hear more details about the ford classic. It never occurred to me that you could still buy it in the cab and chassis format.

Where are you getting the “33inches of travel” in the E350 from? I’ve yet to see any E350 4x4 conversion flex near that much?
1:45 shows 170" Extended. Should be 170"
That E350 is epic, but way out of my price range. I did catch a glimpse of a white T1 VW Bus in that video. That’s what we really want to see!

Econoline all day every day..... 😎
💪💪💪
You did not mention price on the econoline.
And you did not mention factory warranty on any of the vans.
The Classic starts at $250K. It is a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on the vans but extended warranties are available through Ford, Mercedes, and Ram

@@FieldVan can clients just purchase the truck chassis with the fiberglass body? I like the wide interior. Or, how bare bones can it be purchased?
90s early 2000s is better van anyone can buy. Updating it does help though
Correct, full metal body and pre emissions diesel
Gimme the classic Ford all the way!!! The others just seam tinny and fragile.
