    I discovered you today and you’re making me want to consider graphic designing as a career. I enjoy designing flyers and newsletters. Could you do some videos on designing that type of media? Thanks!

    I always learn a lot from your re-designs. Thank you!
    Some clients are really fixed on using their images. When I saw the original flyer, my mind was thinking photoshop (or alternative) for transforming one of the images into a more artistic, stylized version that could still do the job.

      Thanks so much Whitney! And yes that could for sure be an option for bad photos. I only had the flat low res jpg I found online but I like that idea.

    Wow Lauren!! , you took that poster to the next level. 😍Some designers fall in the trap of putting many pictures in one design thinking that it will be more descriptive and beautiful.
    But this thing turns out to be so overwhelming for the eye because there is much content to see and it may distract you from reading the message of the design. 😩
    I liked that you used the singing girl as a focal point of the design so it become easier for us to know what is going on at the first glance, and also the contrast colors of the pink and blue is very beautiful 💙💜 Great video!! 🙏

    Hello, I found your video very informative and interesting. I use canva to create my designs because I don't want to spend money on photo shop as I am just 16 years old also I don't have money of my own. I want to focus on my canva designs but even though I know graphic design principles very well I am not able to take my designs to the next level like I can't merge 2 images etc. Please help me As Soon As Possible. Love from India❤❤🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳❤

      Canva has some limitations, but you could use a free photo editor to help you merge photos. Or have you tried Affinity?

    How do i know if to use an image or text instead as focal point

    • @4TheCreatives
      @4TheCreatives  Год назад

      Whatever fits the specific design and audience. It has a lot to do with the intended message of the design. Usually for movie posters, the people in images are the first point of interest, but for some marketing materials it will be the type.
