Great tip for us older folks ,who grew up with the metal bumpers. As always Liked and shared. All my very best.
Great Job 😅👍👍👍👍
That’s good of Mystery Man to help you with your content. He is clearly a hard worker - put his full effort into delivering for you 😉☺️
0:01 I love he's crouching kness so clever, and he's talks and fixes cars so perfect like my beautiful school Carew Academy has crouching knees and talks other so perfect and friendly. You're a Automatic Repair! I love you! 🤩👍🏾
You are a storehouse of knowledge,Thank You.
Thank you
Nice trick sleeper thanks mat uk 😊😊
Nice job! I fixed my mother inlaws camry in a similar way. Her rear bumper had a big dent in corner, I put boiled water on it and was able to knock it out with a dead blow hammer. Worked nice!!
Great little how-to video, my friend. 👍
Thanks for sharing and showing us how its done
I have the same heat gun. And I have done the corner of my rear bumper and fixed it. Just like you did
Awesome
This is what we refer to in the biz as the pajama fix. Wearing your pajamas is the most critical factor to assuring proper outcomes. Very well done Mr. Sleeperdude!! The only way this could've had a better outcome is if there was a flannel onezy involved. Not every fix can turn out perfect. 🤷♂
I think that Rocky was wearing his flannel onesie
@@Rollormotor Probably so.
Nice trick, thanks! Up here in Ottawa, Canada it's snowbanks - hard and crusty and icy snow left by snow plows. The good old days where you would just slam into them with a solid steel bumper are long over. Nowadays, someone backing out of their driveway can catch the entire front fascia on a snowbank and tear it off their car and do thousands of dollars in damage. At -30C (what's that in Fahrenheit? Cold!) the plastic becomes super-brittle. Nobody fixes them until spring, so in late winter a sizeable percentage of the vehicles on our roads are missing the front plastic bumper covers and grilles and all sorts of other trim pieces. Modern cars are not built for Canadian winters.
It's works good. The heat gun can also clear up those foggy head light lens for free
Awesome! I know that's all I ever say but since I'm perpetually broke I can't buy any products or join anything but I know likes and comments help so I try to always at least leave a comment
Magic how that works. Showcases your many talents.
Thank you
Looks like those headlamps need a good polish as well 👌🏻
Yes they do
@@sleeperdude2690 in the next Sleeperdude2 video.........we polish........
Useful tip, I had to do that on my 81 corvettes urethane bumper.
Thanks Josh. I just used your technique to pop a dent out of the bumper of my wife's car. Worked great.
Josh, the man with the know how! Thanks for the demonstration.
I wish I'd seen this before I went to the junkyard a couple of months ago, would've saved some money. Thanks for the tip will be useful in the future.
Did something similar with a smooth sheet metal dent. Used a plunger. Friend was so happy because he only had liability and it was hardly noticable after we fixed it.
Thank you Thank you...... I have a disconnect at the same place. I nudged a frozen snow bank pulling into a parking spot and the very very cold plastic clip broke. I am going to look into the Glue Repair Method to hold it back in place.
Thanks Again......
Great tip. A dab or two of silicone sealant worked for me. Keep these coming please
Good stuff! Always a good day when you can learn something.
Silly me thought I had seen most of your videos Josh, until I found out that not only do you have a second channel, but Sleeperdude88 goes way back several years. I'm trying dude, but I doubt I'll ever get through them all..LOL😂
Nice job always wondered how the body shops did all that !
Keep up the great work and videos ! And enjoy that beautiful new Shop !!
Thank you. We can’t wait to move in.
Awesome quick repair job
Exactly! I sit my 1500 watt portable heater about 8" away and leave it 20 minutes. More even than heat gun.
Thanks for the insight. Now I know how to do it right.
Great body shop tip! Not bad for a quickie!
Nice video guys
Wow a Sleeperdude video and not once did I hear him mention hoops and casings!😀
Thanks , I always wonder about all your experience in auto body and we never get to see you work on painting a car or fixing a dent

Hey those vans are awesome very dependable now you need to do a video on how to fix the intermittent door locks and power windows hey its got 312000 miles can't be too mad at it.
That new huge shop and he still loves working in the gravel! 👍🏻🤣
That looks like a mercy repair. One of your friends was going to have a “come to Jesus” meeting with his parents if you didn’t fix it. Another life saved!
Thanks
Is that gunna work on my '72 C-10 pick up bumper?
Might have to get it a little hotter
Good job buddy .
Dear Sleeperdude2 family
👍👌👏 Oh WOW, that worked extremely well and very fast. 2) Although a success is shown in this video, no RC Cola to celebrate? 😱 Poor piggy, sigh. 😁 ;-)
Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards luck and especially health to all of you. 💚💚💚💚💚
Post Scriptum: Looks as if this van could use a lot more TLC from a body shop pro.
Yeah probably right

I've lost count of the times I've had to do this for the 'Before my husband/wife/mum/dad' finds out brigade 🤣
Lost count? Sorry to hear that! 😂
That is something I can use thanks
I have some jags I need to book in for body work. How’s next week sound?
Hey Josh can I ask what glue would work to hold that fender? Have the same problem on my Nissan Rogue.😊
Good job
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks 😎
Good work
I followed the procedure so far... but do I need to wait for it to cool before I put on the duct tape?
If a don't have a heat gun but you have a partner with a hair dryer, works just as good only it takes just a little longer. 👍
Safety First Dude. Look Ma no Hands ! . 👍🏻👌🏻♥️🙏🏻
I was always told to throw cold water on it and the one time I tried that it shrunk and caved and pop back in 😂 lesson learned
Good to know! Thanks for sharing! Could have used that a car ago. :)
That’s funny
Hell yea appreciate that tip!!
Morning after auto repair. It must have been serious to get you out in your jammies. LOL! I don't know anything about tampering with evidence or cleaning up the scene of the crime. LOL! Been there, done that. I had a neighbor kid come and get me to go pull his car out of a ditch one evening. Poor kid was terrified of what his Dad was going to say. He said, "It'll go over better if I've already got the car out of the ditch". Having been in his shoes at that I age, I knew exactly what he was talking about. Smart kid in a bad situation. I pulled him out and we never spoke of it again. LOL!
Great job!😎😎
Rocky's been driving again...not bad for a goat...😅
Afternoon Buddy! Interested in collaborating on some product review projects?
Thank you for your help God bless 🙏 Hello 👋 Rocky 🐐
Great tip!
Way To Go!
Thank you
Great video❤❤❤
I just bought a old Taurus that has several gremlins for my daughter . Can I drop it off so you can make it new again??? 😅 please 🙏
I knew you glued my damn bumper back then , that’s why it fell off !! Sumbitch !! I’m just saying 😏 Thanks for another , Brother !!
Safe to say the quarter panel of my mums husbands Audi was not able to be fixed like this after i boinked it with my Focus (which only got a scratch on it)
Thanks for the tip cool
Thank you for watching
I have a non-whiskey dent in the back corner of my Toyota, I wanted to do this very thing, but you can't get to the back of the plastic, all kinds of foam and metal(I'm guessing to make it safer??? So what to do in this case? I was thinking maybe a toilet plunger?
How about the huge ding in that drivers door?
Very interesting.
Thank you
Driving away, immediately crashes into pole😆
Good as new. 😍
I found a ford fairmont for sale
Haha......good trick! Thankee Sir
I tried this technique on my nose after some dude broke it. All I got was burned skin on my nose. Apparently it only works on cars! :-)
