    Back in the 80's or possibly the 90's, there was a posting on a board in a bike shop about making a new trail one weekend. I showed up at Fromme that Saturday with a few others and we hiked up to the seventh switchback. We barely had any tools and just began hacking at the forest this new trail under direction of the bike shop owner I believe. It didn't look like much in the early days and was way too hardcore for me then so I never rode it afterwards. The trail was illegal and entrance was hidden, hence the Secret part. Glad it became what it is due to the hard work and dedication of the trail builders.
    Fun fact: There were seven of us, on the seventh day of the seventh month.

      @@the6ig6adwolf Nope. I only worked on it on the first day. The bike shop was Robson bikes which no longer exists. It was a great shop with great mechanics.

    Dang bro. I’m doing good just to not go down in an enduro stage. Nice riding.

    I always find that instead of "Hey there!" and "Thank you very much." when passing other mtbers I go with "Mind if I play through?" Gets a chuckle every time.

    Damn dude you make the gangler look so easy. Maybe I should try it

    • @ddangerousddave
      @ddangerousddave  3 года назад

      It's got decent traction in the dry. The trickiest part about the Gangler for me is the really tight left hander coming off of it to stay on the trail.

    • @ddangerousddave
      @ddangerousddave  5 лет назад +1

      Probably a dozen or so times now. Still remember trying to work up the nerve to do it the first time!
