Well.........My flabber has never been so gasted. Not ever. I always thought of Mick as just an average drummer in a glam rock band that I used to like in the 70's. BUT how wrong can I be? Mick was absolutely totally and utterly brilliant...and so were Andy and Steve. Mick was good enough to play in a rock band. a heavy metal band, a jazz band or an orchestral band. WHAT A SUPER-STAR AND MAESTRO PERFORMANCE FROM MICK. In fact this is in the top three performances of any band I have seen in my life. I can only shake my head in disbelief at what I have just witnessed. I honestly felt physically and emotionally drained after seeing this classic performance. Brian. Mick, Steve, Andy, you are and will forever remain in my top three bands of all time after this. It has opened my eyes and a St Paul epiphany has overcome me. Andy mate. Your superb guitar playing talent is recognised. Steve, I wish you had stayed around a lot longer my mate. We miss your showmansip and talent. You are all we have left of the days when there were guys with so much expertise and skill that it was running out of their ears...and Sweet proved they were more than capable of holding a torch for the rest of the wannabe's to follow and look up to. Thank you fellas. Long life Andy. and GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Thank God we've got footage left of truly one of the greatest original rock bands ever.....4 extremely talented vocalists and musicians...never to be forgotten

Mick passed away in a hospital just 3 miles from my workplace. There was a small mention in the press. So glad we now have access to performances like this which are testament to the great works of performers both living and departed.
Mick is the reason why I play drums. I’ve been playing 50 years and play 30 music styles, from big band to symphonic metal. I’ve also played in two symphonies.
Mick Tucker. So fucking talented. He was so fun to watch. he really seemed to enjoy what he was doing and have fun with it. RIP to one of the best who will ever be
I love The Sweet, que grandes músicos eran , Mick era el mejor baterista del mundo , Andy un gran guitarrista , Steve un tremendo bajista y Brian tenia una voice hermosa , se les extraña, Sweet for ever.
When I go to the workplace, I play my mix of songs. Most of them are from The Sweet. I listen without getting tired. Blockbuster, CO-CO, Ballroom Blitz, Fox on the run, and the others... Sometimes I watch Brian's recent appearances. I see what has become of that blond idol and I cry. He started life already defeated, an unfortunate man. Just imagine if your mother left you at the hospital and walked away. If you were raised as an adopted child, what would you think, how would you hold a grudge against life? I think about these things and it breaks my heart. The world is so merciless. It can turn one of the most beautiful men in the world into a wreck in his 40s. We don't know what's boiling in his heart, what kind of volcanoes are erupting inside him! His addiction to alcohol, his smoking habit - these destructive habits were likely reactions to the despicable things his parents did to him, but it cost him his life. His heart couldn't take it. He could have continued his music career for much longer, but he left life prematurely. Tears always come to my eyes as I watch him in the music videos of The Sweet from the 70s. In an interview from '95, I can't watch it, I'm overcome with sobs. And Mick, oh my God, what can I say about Mick! I've never seen someone play drums like him in my life. Tall, athletic, a handsome dark-skinned man. Watching him fills me with even greater sadness. Perhaps the tragic death of his wife Pauline at home, maybe that was the beginning of his illness. He, the king of drums, of trumpets, dies of leukemia at 55, and that hurts me deeply. That's why I can't listen to them anymore. I love these guys so much. Knowing they're gone and still watching them hurts, it aches, it's incredibly painful. Steve brings some comfort, at least he died at 72, doing what he loved with his wife and daughters. But Mick, Brian? Wasn't a great injustice done to them? I'm crying again...
Mick is the reason why I became a drummer 44 years ago . For that I'll be grateful to him throughout my life!! Besides, Andy was an amazing singer and shouter ! Ialmost forgot that

was one of my favorite bands in the 70s because they were so special and everyone really knew their stuff. had all the records that were unfortunately stolen from me. long live youtube
Woefully under-rated band and sooo ahead of their time in so many aspects. Should have been HUGE in America.
My very thoughts exactly
It frustrates me! They don’t get their due
Мик - красава ! Глэммеры жгут !
Жаль , что ушли в мир иной трое из них ! Свелая им память ! 🙏💔
А Энди долгих лет жизни !
This video is of such good quality for 1974, looks great even today in 2021. They will last forever in Rockdom Kingdom! Forever Sweet!
Всегда любил эту группу.Класс!
Великолепный барабанщик. Светлая ему память.
All are great musicans
What a GIANT of a drummer, underrated by many, loved and admired by more, RIP Mick Tucker....Thanks for the inspiration!!!
I have never seen anyone swirl a stick in his fingers like Mick Tucker could. He was amazing at it.
Mick Tucker - it looks like an easy game, how he is doing his job. He was born to be a drummer phantastisc!❤
Wow, this is the first time I have seen this video and I have loved Sweet since'76
What an Awesome drummer for a 70s kick ass band. Love me some SWEET.
The BEST Drummer !!!!!!!
A complete natural and a very unique style. Totally underrated. Rock on Mick!❤
Saw them in 1975 and Mick played the best drum solo in rock I've ever seen hands down, he incorporated 2 film screens which were synchronized with his live playing, unbelievable. Too bad there's no footage of that anywhere.
just farking love it! him and ian paste always been my favorite 2 drummers
Andy Scott with that "Whats that man with the Golden Arm" vocal range!!! Superb!
Proper musicians..every damn one of them...puts modern music to shame...just listen to micks drumming...and all of them could sing and play very well...very rare now
I have never seen this until today. EXCELLENT!! I'm 59, so grateful I grew up in a time when musicians had talent....
Mick - the man with the golden arm & the lovely blue eyes ♥ RIP
20 years ago today we lost a drumming legend. RIP dear Mick- luv ya to the moon and back! Never forget you. ❤😘
Gone way too soon...like Brian...😓
@@philipholmes5884 Definitely. Poor Brian just couldn't seem to overcome his alcohol addiction soon enough to save him. He and Mick both had a rough time at the end. 😞
@@Mick_Ts_Chick uh huh ! Just watched ''Teenage rampage" on the "Crackerjack" kids show... amazing hard rocking performance...if you haven't seen it's one of my favorites... amazing how hard they rocked... they'll never be another Sweet...I know Andy's still doing his thing but when all 4 were together... something clicked in the universe ! ❤️
@@philipholmes5884 Yes, I have and it is a great clip! But then I pretty much love anything from them. Those times they were on Supersonic and Disco are good also.
@@Mick_Ts_Chick oh I will check them out...I have been going crazy lately watching Sweet videos... Andy's guitar is rocking... the Gibson E-335...! Also I love all the versions they played at this in studio concert on 11-11-74 ! Oh when they lost Brian on those 3 last albums as a trio...I just can't get into them...not that they aren't talented...it's just Sweet to me is Andy/Mick/Steve/Brian... As anyone gone or different... isn't Sweet for me...when I was a kid I remember they had a big hit with "Love is like oxygen" and I thought "Sweet" is coming back ! Then later that year in July Brian played his last show with them...😓
So pleased this concert footage has surfaced to prove to any doubters what a fantastic band Sweet were.Great material, amazing musicians and vocalists. As for Mick's drumming. WOW! No one better in my opinion. EVER!Mesmerising to watch, looks like he's having the time of his life. Even his one bum note on tubular bells can't knock the smileoff his face! My top 3 bands of all time- The Beatles, Cheap Trick and the mighty SWEET!
19 years ago today, we lost a great drummer. Rest in peace, dear Mick. 07.17.1947-02.14.2002
Absolutely brilliant. Still listen to them now never get tired of them.100%.Best ever .Xxx
Mick passed away in a hospital just 3 miles from my workplace. There was a small mention in the press. So glad we now have access to performances like this which are testament to the great works of performers both living and departed.
Sweet always underestimated. They are legendary!
Mick is the reason why I play drums. I’ve been playing 50 years and play 30 music styles, from big band to symphonic metal. I’ve also played in two symphonies.
I still play my Sweet vinyl frequently.
I just never get tired of this...
Mick Tucker. So fucking talented.
He was so fun to watch. he really seemed to enjoy what he was doing and have fun with it.
RIP to one of the best who will ever be

Insane talent. Full stop. So underrated. Love from Australia since 1972
Remembering of Mick Tucker one of the best drummers. 17.07.49-14.02.02
God bless you, Mick. 14.02.2017
You can just tell Andy Scott had major respect for Mick! What a loss when he passed. RIP Mick the Great
People who compile top drummer lists have no friggin clue about talent! Mick Tucker is one of the best rock drummers ever! RIP Mick
One of the best drummers, and highly underrated.
This is one of the most underrated hard rock bands to ever rule planet earth.
Вот Микуся даёт .От души оторвался.Красавчик наш.Самый лучший!!!!
Can't get enough of when they come back in after Mick's count at 6:07. That is just so bad ass!
I always loved Mick Tuckers drumming on the Sweet records. He is one of my top five drummers ever.
Still watching those sticks Mick. So amazing and England's finist drummer 😍
No. Formal. Training. Just naturally God-given talent. Mick was one of the greats.
Its unanimous, Mick Tucker was a phenomenal drummer.
One of the greatest rock drummers of all time greatly underated
This is awesome! Vocals, guitar, bass DRUMS! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
These three are really having a good time, and sound good...
Absolutely phenomenal! They deserved to be bigger. Always will be one of my fave glam bands. Mick was one of the best drummer's ever.
Damn! How cool was that! Amazing drumming and talent.
Я поражена. Вот это музыканты 👏👏👏👏
Awesome ✌️👍💖 tune great 🤟🤟🤟🤟♥️💯
Phenomenal perfomance. F**king awesome. Mick Tucker is the most underrated drummer of all time
Mick is the reason why I became a drummer 44 years ago . For that I'll be grateful to him throughout my life!! Besides, Andy was an amazing singer and shouter ! Ialmost forgot that
