@@tabithafhair thanks so much for letting me know😍. I absolutely love your videos. Finally too have someone who actually has fine hair. Learning so much from you 💘💘
I know you posted this a long time ago....today is 2/24/22....but I am 66 years old and no one has ever, EVER demonstrated this to me!!!! I am amazed that, to this day, no one has said a word about this! I cannot wait to try this out!!! Thank you so much!!!
Thankfully RUclips sent me your channel and it’s very helpful. One thing that’s happened to me as I age is that a cowlick that use to be unnoticeable became prominent at the front of my hairline. It began to split my hair into sections exposing my scalp. It looked awful. So what I did was change my part from the left side to the right to take "advantage" of the cowlick. It did help some. I also blow my hair dry upside down, then begin to blow dry and use Velcro curlers to help set it. I use hairspray, but sometimes the hairspray has actually ruined my volume because I held the can just a little too close and the force of the air blew apart my style and set at the same time. Will check out more of your videos and product recommendations. Thanks for sharing your tips!
I like that I've finally come across a hair stylist that actually has fine/thinning hair herself, so she fully understands the issues! My hair stylist is amazing, and I love her, but she has gorgeous naturally thick and curly hair, so she has no understanding of fine, thinning, straight hair.
I hear you. I have always had fine hair, though was lucky to have a lot of hair…but it’s gotten thinner as I’ve gotten older. I wear my hair shorter, sort of a shaggy long layer pixie cut. I had a great stylist in the 90s, but he died…and since then, it’s been a never ending desperate search for someone who understands my hair. No matter how many photos I show, or what I ask for, seems they all take maybe 5 minutes and give me the same damn cut over and over. I was seeing one stylist who wasn’t too bad at a local salon and needed to be cut on one of her days off, so I got an appt with someone else - and FINALLy! She took her time, she paid attention to what I was saying about my struggles, and I left it up to her to do what she thought would be best. Great haircut! Day after day of great hair days. I’m so happy, feel like I hit the jackpot.
This is ONE secret hairstylists won't share. Techniques like this are what set the pros apart from the "wannabes." I'm floored that she put this out here for us! I'm so thankful this popped up in my feed- I have watched 100 stylists for countless hours and never, never knew this! You're a doll and thank you so much.
Tabitha, you have stopped the angst in my life over blow drying my fine hair. I followed your tutorial for the first today, and I am so happy with the results. I have been fighting with my hair for years, never really knowing how to blow it dry. Thank you so much for sharing your talents, you are a life saver.
Finally someone with fine AND thinning hair to explain some tips! Thank you so much, I cannot wait to try these tips on my hair. My hair has always been fine and now at 53 and post menopause there is some thinning to it.
Great tip re: whether to dry up toward the ceiling for highest volume or side lift; really makes a difference; I am so glad there's other people who have thinning front hair! Thank you for your honesty and style tips.
You have explained how to blow dry hair in such an incredible way that I can actually have the best hairstyle of all time!! I will bring the information to my hair stylist as well~ thanks doll 😊
First time I’ve heard about the distinction between the ceiling vs the wall and how to split the direction based on head shape. Really interesting and definitely going to try it next time! Thank You!
GAME CHANGER!!!!! Omggggg. Thank you so so much. I had total hair and body loss from chemo in 2016. Grateful to be alive. ❤ but my hair never grew back to it’s “normal” pre chemo self. I had lots of volume and hair and some wave. Now it’s super thin. Fine. And straight. I received a great blunt haircut week and half ago and makes all the difference. Your video however made me able to keep the style up and taught me how to blow dry. So grateful. ❤ BTW I have similar cut to yours
Wow! Your hair looks great! Thank you so much for the tips. I have been blowing my fine (thinning) hair wrong all along and no one has ever explained this trick to me! I wanted a cut like yours and was told "your hair won't do that"!
I have fine thinning hair and have looked for years for a video showing how to dry it. Your video is very easy to understand and very much appreciated. Thank you so much.
Thank you for explaining this so clearly. I am 61 and have similar fine/thin at the front, so many hairdressers fry the rest of my hair brilliantly, but struggle/give up with the front! Can’t wait to try it 🥰
So glad I came across this video. I have been blow drying my hair wrong for many years. Now, I can practice these tips. Used a comb to see what should be blown forward...something simple and I just figure it out bc of your video.
I really enjoyed your video. I was born with very thick hair but have been going through cancer treatments for about 10 months now. I take a chemo pill (21 days on, 7 days off) and have just noticed how much my hair has thinned. So I'm trying new products and new styling techniques to not only protect it and keep it from falling, but to make it appear fuller the way it used to. This was very helpful....thank you.
WOW! I just tried drying my hair this way & what a difference it makes to my fine, usually limp hair. Thank you so much for this info! I’m a subscribed convert :-). Look forward to seeing more tips & tricks for fine hair 👏👏😊
Thank you. I got so TIRED, looking on the web, at "styles for fine, thin hair". All I get are images of beautiful young women with a lot of hair. This was what I needed.
This was very helpful. I have always had fine hair, and now that I am 63, it's a tiny bit finer in the front. I have a cut like yours. It turns out that when I blow my hair dry, I a doing mostly what you do. My head is like yours and I was doing the back growing and front growing correctly! Wow. But it is nice to see the full blow out and also the products you use.
I think this has been the most helpful video I have ever watched on styling fine, thin hair. I can see you really do have hair that is fine and thin like mine. Thank you!!!
Just found your site and love it! I have very thin hair as well and most other U Tubers who said their hair was fine, was not. Other sites really didn't help, but yours has. Love your ideas and can't wait to try. Keep Posting and Thank You!!!
This really worked for me! I’ve tried tons of other suggestions to no avail. I didn’t have the specific products you used but it worked nonetheless. Thank you Tabitha!
I have to say, although your hair is thinning in the front, you have gorgeous hair! It seems thick overall. And not to mention, very healthy. I’ll watch more videos to see how you’ve achieved beautiful hair.
You have my hair. Chemo and radiation 18 years ago left me always struggling for fuller looking hair without damaging it. I’ve never seen anyone whose hair looks so much like mine. Thank you for these videos!
Thank you. I have fine hair with a weak curl pattern. It’s been a real bugbear all my adult life. I usually air dry to preserve the condition but when I do blowdry I’ll try your method.

Thank you, I never knew about cooling off the curl, nor how much hair I could use behind my front bangs area (depending on the way the comb balances.) Yours turned out beautiful - it looks so thick, bouncy & shiny! Thanks again Tabitha : )

To the top haha that you for taking your time in explaining the how to . For us girls with thin hair . I will try this next week. Just washed my hair yesterday thank you .
