You are a Godsend to women who ACTUALLY have fine, THIN hair! So many of these RUclipsrs put out videos CLAIMING it’s for thin-haired women…only to discover, “oh, wait! You have thick hair!” They infuriate me because they are insensitive to our plight. So, thank you for your care and help!
Thank you so much! First person I have seen that actually has fine hair and can curl with less than 10 curls to style your whole head. I thought I was the only one, lol!
Miss Tabitha - You are a treasure trove of FINE & THIN hair knowledge! I have seen so many vids of stylists and influencers saying what one should do and perform on a thick head of hair but you are the real deal. Not only with valuable tips (not to overheat b/c it won't be any better other than frying the hair off) but you also have this same affliction as so many of us have. Thank you for being the REAL DEAL : )
Thank you for normalizing fine thin hair. My confidence is way higher after I came across your videos. I no longer feel I am the only one with hair struggles. But I do have to say you make me feel it is a very normal thing. You are so beautiful and relatable. THANK YOU ❤️
Thank you so much for showing Me how to blow dry, curl and what products to be using with very thin, fine, balding hair. I am 62 and my hair looks like it belong to someone much older. Keep coming with the video’s for us ladies with fine/thin hair .
Very useful. I'm currently doing pin curls overnight on dry hair, so not heat damage. However it's good to know how to do it with an iron/wand just in case I needed more modern look.
THANK YOU so much..when I dry my hair and see my scalp so clearly I panic!! I feel like no one else has the same level of visible scalp and that I should wear a wig. You have made me think differently...I love your tips TY TY TY 💖
I'm 45 & put a curl in my hair myself for the first time. I didn't have the texture spray so buying some today but only needed it to hold for a dinner. Was far from perfect but I got lots of compliments. Thank you 😊
thank you for sharing your tips on how to make fine hair look nice and fuller. Your hair looked really nice! I liked your video because you can relate to all of us fine hair people.
Thank you for this and for all your other videos. I wish you were in LA so I could actually make an appointment to see you. I feel like one of my biggest struggles is not being able to find a stylist who understands my thin fine hair and what to do with them. But with everything you’ve taught me through these videos, I’m at least able to style my hair better and have a little more confidence. The comfort of knowing that I’m not alone is very much appreciated 🙏
I am so glad that I found your videos! I love them! My hair is fine and thin and you explain things in a way that I can understand. I can't wait to try this!
I loved it when you held up all the hair in front of your ears and I could see through it. I thought: at last someone with actual fine, thin hair, someone who understands.
Thank you so much! So glad I found your channel. I have about the same amount of thin, fine hair as you and it was so hard finding any tutorials for someone with hair like mine. You’re my hero. Have a wonderful day! 💕
Wow seriously, you have some amazing helpful tips! My hair is fine but I have lots of it or at least that’s what hairdressers used to say , I’ve lost some fullness since. I’m 41 & my mom is 61 & her hair is more like yours, I know that my hair will keep getting thinner as I see it in my shower and brush. So this really helps me help her and myself as well, and tips I can keep for future reference. I’ll definitely have to send your videos her way. I’m really trying to take care of my hair these days by keeping up with haircuts, I have better hot tools , I use a heat protectant ( btw I’d love updated recommendations for any hair products & if I can get away with some drugstore products that would help , I understand I should spend more in some cases to get a product or tool that works) I do try to use less heat as possible, I use the WET brush , I dye my hair less frequently & my mom just ordered us each a Silk Pillowcases ( not sure if needed / works but I’m trying everything I can to help ) I just need to maybe take some vitamins. Thanks so much ❤️
I have really curly thick blond hair and an asian lady at a cafe with very thin fine straight hair said to me that she wished she had curly hair. So I thought I would search for her and here I found a great video for her. thank you.
Thank you so much! I just discovered your channel and I have some hope now on how to deal with my hair. And you are just beautiful no matter how your hair would be done.
It depends. If they do look really see-through, you can keep your bangs, but sometimes they look fuller if they are a little longer and all swept to the side.😉
Hi Tabitha, love your video. The Moroccan oil curling iron is over 100.00 , can you recommend another brand which does the same job but more affordable….?
I used to have such long and thick hair, and have had thin, fine hair over time. I’ve recently been researching perms just to want a new hairstyle. I know it’s a long shot, but have you ever done something like a perm? My hair is virgin and I’m worried about potentially frying it off! No hairstyle has been fitting me and my hair has reached past my shoulders, I just want something new!
Might have been 3 years ago. But the fact I never see videos of “make your hair look thinner” ever, tells me a lot. Don’t ever complain (thick haired girls!) about having thick hair. Ever. Our options are in the thousands of dollars, I’ve been there. Hair is like part of us being feminine and feeling sexy, nothing is going to change that. Look up videos of girls losing their hair to either alopecia or thinning, that will tell you the trauma and humiliation they go through. We don’t want to wear a wig until we’re dead. 😢
@@tabithafhair watch a youtube video. I just found out today. I'm 70 and have real thin fine hair and graying and was wondering which kind of curler I should get.
Any idea how to open the spray top of the Amika product? I bought some and I can’t push the top down in order to get it to dispense! Maybe mine is defective or is there some little tabor something to break before it will dispense? Thanks for any ideas!
Have only just now found your videos and I SO appreciate that someone finally has the same hair I do! If you or anyone sees this, how do you combine the texture spray with a heat protectant? In what order? What heat protectant sprays do you like for thin/fine hair?
Great question. Your heat Protectant should go on last. So after shampooing put your volumizer, root spray on wet than heat protection than dry. If you are doing this on a non wash day than put texturizer on first than heat protection, wait to let dry than use heat tools.❤
What do you put into your hair to help them grow without breaking it's been more than a year , I tried to grow my bangle and it's break, can you help me , by suggesting a good product or something to help. Thank you
Thanks for the tips. I just got my hair cut really short yesterday and they curled it at the salon. It looked amazing but I haven’t been able to re curl it today. Curse my fine short hair.
I have a T# 3/4 inch curling iron and my hair does not curl like that. Not that quick. What am I doing wrong? It use to be way easier to curl but then menopause set in. :(
I hear you. Your hair needs more moisture. Make sure you don't have a lot of dry shampoo or texturizer in before you cur and use a weightless leave in like living proof perfecting spray when the hair is wet to help with adding moisture. 😉
I'm surprised why u dont mention holding the curl for ten seconds or so while it cools to allow the curl to set before letting it drop. Consider what makes the hair take the shape of the curling iron to begin with. The heat makes it conform to the shape. When u drop it immediately after removing it from the heat, will cause the curl to go flat and drop much faster. My hair is straighter than most can make their hair with a flat iron, naturally. I know the struggle. U have such pretty hair btw. Another tip? Spraying in some dry shampoo, combing it thru, then use the cool setting on ur hair dryer to blow thru hair before starting the curls/style. This wasnt for the creator, but maybe someone reading this, needing ideas. Much love
How do you use a regular curling iron without getting kinks in it from the “clip” part. I have thin fine hair and have never been able to not have that kink in my hair
My hair looks exactly like yours but a lot longer I hate how fine my hair is the ends are so faded no matter what I do thick haired people don’t understand how lucky they are
I have fine hair but it does NOT curl as easy and quickly as yours! Most strands flops straight out, no matter the heat and time setting (automatic curler)

Tabitha, can you recommend a curling iron that is more affordable ? The Moroccan oil iron is over 100.00. Thanks. Love your video!
Use large perm rollers and you will get more volume with some curl.

how long the style and curls
would stay?
Mine, stay all day!
Someone with hair like mine, very nice. I am wondering how long the curls last.
Do you use hair spray?
Great job...hairstylist for forty years
Have you ever tried those bubble curling irons, and if so, what did you think of the outcome?

Thanks for the tips. I just got my hair cut really short yesterday and they curled it at the salon. It looked amazing but I haven’t been able to re curl it today. Curse my fine short hair.
It takes practice to do it on yourself. 😊
Is that 265 Celsius?
Celsius would be about 120°
What did you do in the back?
Same process. I just alternate different directions!!
What do you think about velcro rollers? Instead of heat, I let my hair air dry and then I spray Chi hair guard and use large velcro rollers.
Velcro rollers are great! Whatever works, right? 😉

Your iron sounds like it might be too hot and it is a little tricky.
You need to rotate the iron as soon as you apply the clamp.😊
My hair looks exactly like yours but a lot longer I hate how fine my hair is the ends are so faded no matter what I do thick haired people don’t understand how lucky they are
Why shouldn't we spray the Amika spray near the skin?
We don't want a lot of product to clog our hair follicles or cause any irritation. 💕
nice
I have the same problem, my hair is scarse and thin....if I use a product with alcohol it turns horrible !
I remember learning from my hair stylist...if your curling iron is the same temp as the temp for baking cookies. your curling iron is too hot

my god mine just doesnt curl no matter what i do it just fry
Oh no. You might need more moisture in your hair & to turn down the heat!
Would dry shampoo suffice in place of you used?
Yes!
