wow, nice sound, seems a mini 777
baby9811 more like a mini 787
@@josefsstationrc6064 more like A320-251N
How things can change so quickly.
Ikr
And now it’s back.
Not gonna lie thought that was a 777 for a second, but love it!!
I've been on the MAX before, The taxi sound from these CFM's is un-beatable.
They are very quiet aren't they??👋❤️
I absolutely love the 737 max, I hope it will get back to service soon.
Hope it gets fixed and ensured no crashes will ever happen
No I hope it never flies again and Boeing goes bankrupt. 300+ killed due to corporate greed
@@jayc6489 bankrupt DOES NOT EQUAL going out of business. and the cargo area of airplanes would lose like 99% of their planes so your mail from there will take WEEKS to get there.
@@jayc6489 oh also the ceo is to blame NOT the engineers themselves.
@@jayc6489 Tell that to Airbus because of the A310's autothrottle problem.
@@jayc6489 Companies don't need to go bankrupt for corporate greed. Good luck telling that to every other company with corporate greed.
I agree with the previous comments, I miss the roar of the old CFM 56 engines. These engines sound like mom’s annoying vacuum cleaner on the climb out.
@Javier Aragon. I loved the sound.
Probably because of the carbon fiber fan. The buzz sound came from the midspan shroud hitting adjacent blades on the old CFM56, the fan blades have a bit of play in their mounting, so they can vibrate.
Simply beautiful...I cant thanks you enough...I think this helping me get over my fear of flying lol
Just stunning! The family & I get our first SWA MAX experience on 30 Jan 18, DEN-SMF! Can’t wait & thanks for sharing this awesome flight! 🛫😄
I still believe the 737 MAX aircraft are beautiful airplanes and will fly again. Not defending Boeing on their tactic to charge for training on changes to the aircraft. Should have been mandatory for all. Nevertheless, the 737 MAX 8 is still a good aircraft.
Going to miss the buzz saw
No doubt! The new engines, while being cool and all, sound like a giant electric leaf blower. Around the 19:20 minute mark, the engines speed up a little more doing a bit of a buzz saw like grind but its subtle.
Aviation Bledsoe the buzzsaw sound isn't necessarily a good thing. Vibration makes parts wear out. A blade off is no fun thing
Aviation Bledsoe this is not a -700. It's a -MAX8. If it was a -700, you would hear something.
it does buzz at a higher TO power setting. ruclips.net/video/7DxGmbLrQjc/видео.html
Hey Aviation Gamer And Explaner 2018, you're wrong. Yes, that's a LEAP-1B engines but it's not from GE, but from CFM International too.
Looks like it was a good flight! Happy that it is back as well!
You Lucky Man!! American Airlines is getting their first MAX in a few months. I can't wait!!
Although it is a rather troublesome plane, I once flew on it and it is spectacular
I really hope the 737Max will be back on air with safety..no rush to fly it though until it is proven safe again..They say it will fly again this Dec with AA..let's see..Buzz-wise, i prefer the NGs..I generally don't like all new generation-engine-plane,too quiet for my avgeek taste..Hop on a A220 and you hear almost nothing on takeoff..The 787s soo quiet too..767s,757,772s ,A333s ,747s are much better for my ear..One thing i have noticed on both the MAXs and NEOs on takeoff is they produce a long high-pitch monotonous sound which tends to be irritating..From the outside when you hear the engines spool-up and then take off it sounds like they never come into full throttle like your hear the 767s scream and then buzz..It's like a full-blown thud with a small buzz..It's even worse that all new engined planes sound more and more the same, be it NB or WB..Why is that?
100% agree that the older models like the 737ng and a320 ceo are better than these new quite ones
I gotta admit the interior looks STUNNING!
Hey! I flew on N8713M by last month. I went to LAS to see my sister. I flew on 737-MAX8. It's great!
Nice shot of the EMAS at 9:30. Great video!
Awesome! Great airline! That engine looks HUGE!!! Brand new and all, but WOW the cabin looks SOOO THIN and SQUASHED compared to the Airbus A320neo!!! Liked!
Love that engine sound!
Awesome video mate!
Great video and great flight!
Nice smooth flight.
That’s a nice looking plane engine!
Starts at 14:00
What an amazing departure!!!!!
No roar= no fun!
Andrew Dale ikr
Almost sounds like the RR Trent 972 for A380's or maybe even a bit of the Trent 700 for A330's during takeoff but without the grind.
Great Video, Great Airline... 👍
No buzz no fun.
The buzz is mostly on bigger and wider engines.
Don’t lose hope. If you listen towards the end. He throttles up and if you listen very closely. There is a slight buzz. It will never be the same though.
Yeah, very, very silent purring-like sound. The blades and the nacelles are here to blame.
ruclips.net/video/7DxGmbLrQjc/видео.html
Listening closely with headphones I still hear a very faint buzz....
😮 You are soooooooo lucky!!!! Nice video!
Most beautiful in flight aviation video ever (or one of them anyway :)
Wow amazing plane!
Cant await to See 737 Max on LOT Polish Airlines this Dezember.
And shesssss off, yee-haw😆👋
Probably one of the fastest takeoff I have ever seen
True... I very much like the buzzing CFM Engines better than these ones. I like how they are designed, just not the sound is all :)
Try around 19:15 and you'll enjoy the slight buzz.
yea but the only thing I hear is the super annoying high pitched Whine, I heard a slight buzz but it wasnt enough to satisy
Beautiful flight.
Congratulations to the Southwest team and I hope I can fly her one day for your airline ;-)
Who else will have fun when PMDG makes this
This plane is flying very smoothly
It sure is
lmao
oOoOhhhh,, cool btand new airplane......😇😎👀👀
Fantastic views!
.... Incredimazing!
I love SW!
Amazing video 😀
Smooth as silk. Gorgeous visuals, and loving the look and sound of those engines. Interesting the the passengers were quite. Such a rarity. All flights should be so peaceful, warm and inviting.
brkitdwn maybe the engine is secretly super loud and is washing out the ambient noise 😂.
brkitdwn maybe the engine is secretly super loud and is washing out the ambient noise 😂.
Yes this is a short flight, but immediately I notice a performance improvement by the MAX-8 over the -800NG. This one shot up off the runway like a rocket, definitely running light on this jaunt.
19:50
Nice view.
Amazing.
Big like.
I like it with the roar because I can sleep peacefully and not be disturbed by the engines
I truly hope Boeing can get there act together with this new jet. My
"personal feeling" is they rushed the production of this plane. To stay
competitive with the new Airbus A320NEO. And obviously by doing so we
now know the results of that impulsivity. This in return only BOOSTS
Airbus A320NEO sales and is terrible news for Boeing. Specifically
Southwest vs JetBlue.
I have flown an Airbus A321Neo, and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Airbus took their time to build a masterpiece, where as Boeing sadly rushed to build the Max and get it airbourne. Boeing REALLY could have worked wonders with the Max and give Airbus a run for their money, but because they rushed the Max, Airbus is kicking Boeing's butt.
@@Chris9017 not entirely maybe here yes but the freight area is where airbus SUCKS but boeing is on top!
@@Chris9017 and american airlines were the ones that essentially forced boeing into making the plane
very nice video
Like the buzz sound on this one, but it will never beat the CFM56
Nice view
Lovely, but I will miss the buzz.
Becker Aviation Airplane airplane
And
Same.
Sorry there is a buzz. It's just not quite as pronounced as the original 737s.
great video
Wow. That’s super quiet.
Tim Kono exactly bro, I mostly liked CFM Leap 1B compare to CFM56 in which that Leap engine are almost superb quiet 🤫
Try around 19:15 and you'll be wrong.
19:15 isnt that loud, If you think that's loud watch this 777 ruclips.net/video/u1NivHkeiJI/видео.html
19:15 is where the (slight) buzzsaw is still retained in this type of 737. When 737 MAX throttles up to full power, you can hear the more prominent buzzsaw from LEAPing quiet CFM LEAP-1B27 engines!
The Airbus A320neo I think is much quieter. I haven't been on the 737 MAX, but the A320neo is so damn quiet.
Wow, the CFM LEAP-1B is so quiet, I miss the old CFM56 buzz
Nice to see people still get all dressed up to fly in an airliner.
how can that be so quiet , its put a new perspective on air travel .
The engine sounds nice
I have a scheduled flight Manaus-Fortaleza in Gol Airlines in 12/November/2022 and I hope to flight 737 MAX 8 again.
I love Southwest Airlines and I flown it in and out of bwi airport
so awesome
amazing camera
is it just me or were the engines louder at idle than at takeoff?
James Jackson - Yes, more muffled on takeoff. Sound propagation is complex with varying air density, temps, speeds, etc
My grandma flew on the second max 8 to KPHX from KABQ
I’m going to miss the buzz saw
KeepBuildingPlanes you can hear it at 19:15
That looks like smf airport a lil bit anyways live u south west u should add the 747 to ur collection
Which is quieter 737max8 or a320eo?
That's cool Nick! I want to fly on a plane that's in it's first day!
Its hard to do but possible, I've flown in a LOT 737max which was 2 weeks old, had that new plane smell :D Good luck and hopefully you can do that :)
if all southwest flights were like this...............
That is a cool plane. Still waiting for the 777x though
Diego Lebrón just a 777 that's too long. I can tell you that it won't be doing the pilots any favors.
WhiskeyFox Well better engineering that's pretty much it and ofcourse fuel consumption that's what they wanted anyway they wanted the plane to be like a 300ER They want the pilots to feel confident it's still a great plane no doupt
Ahh...that new jet smell, would love to find a car freshner with that smell🤣❤️👋
Sooo quiet! Certainly too much. I will miss the good old CFM56, even if this one does not sound so bad. Lovely video!
Why did you guys go on the 28s?
nice video
I think there is something very odd with this software delay. I think we don't know the full story going on here.
Wait did she just say 737-800 series for the Safety Briefing? See that's when u know the plane is fresh and new, aside from the new plane smell. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with Delta's 717s so i can't tell you what that smells like. I can tell you that this guy's video is amazing, and so is Southwest, so book a trip with them sometime.
What's wrong with the 717s?
PhoenixAzureGaming it technically is still a 737-800 type certificate.
501 Aviator not really. It’s an amended type certificate. The type cert data sheet should show you how it is amended to include the new max variant and future dashes.
PhoenixAzureGaming Back in July 2015, I flew Southwest round trip New Orleans to Denver. Excellent service. I'll definitely be flying Southwest again.
Oh no Southwest is absolute garbage they don’t even have personal IFE
This plane made its debut!
Bro this was nothing like boarding at SJC even tho they’re like an hr away.
NickFlightX I think this is the first time I’ve had someone film one of my flights. Thanks for coming along but I must ask why you didn’t include my announcement 🤔 and did you film my landing?
I didnt film it as when you came on, I was in the middle of changing the lens on my camera. Sorry man! Next time! And yes I did get the landing. Its got a LOT of reflections from the blue mood lighting, but I did get it. Will be uploading in a few days hopefully.
Was it a hard landing?
Not_A_Pro haha ask Nick
Wow 😮 that’s quiet. Sound like a vacuum. I think I like that big loud engine take off sound but change is good.
I'd be a little nervous in a spanking brand new plane have they worked out all the possible glitches?
The model of plane was flown for about a year doing many different tests and certifications to make sure it is safe. After that, the plane goes into production and this specific plane was tested before it was delivered. Completely safe.
Allrighty then!
Writing this comment a year later that superstition you had about a new plane without all the glitches discovered, look at where the max isn’t right now in the air because of a glitch.
So jealous!
Wow, very different sound compared to the NGs.
I’m jelly
Gonna miss the rumbling startups the NG's had.
Kpoole25 those were always my favorite part. I would always get goosebumps. Enjoy the NG's while you still can. I'm going to try to.
from what i hear, they will be around until 2030 at the least.
Kpoole25 they are gonna be around until at least 2050. Southwest and many other airlines still have NG orders. And we can expect them to have at least 30-35 year lifespans.
These are like the new 757s
How bigger are the 737-8 max engines compared to the 737-800?
I’d say like one inch. Take my word with a pinch of salt
Can't wait to fly on that plane sometime
Coming after watch a *707* video
707 VS 737 MAX!!!!
I did fly 737 8MAX with Batik Air@Malindo Air..👍
Sound looks quiter than early cfm engine. This is cfm leap A so no buzz. ladies will feel more comfortable because of less noise but men will miss the roar.
steep climb, wasn't it!
where's the roar??????????????????
Haha yeah I knew all that 😂😂 I'm just messing with Nick, I know him personally
I'm going to miss that vrrrrr
It will never be the same but try around 19:21
ruclips.net/video/6i6-tK5nGGI/видео.html
The Airbus leap engines sound worse more louder and whiny
Nice. I always hated that buzzing noise.
No buzzsaw :(
This MAX is so quiet! Great video, liked and subscribed! :)
You are a survivor!
I won't miss the buzz one bit lol
