Today's PG-13 movies are pretty much what a lot of PG was back in the day. It's kinda why the rating was created in the first place because of PG movies like the ones you mentioned and others that eventually made it clear there was too much of a gap between PG and R. The heart scene in Temple of Doom was the last straw and made people realize there was a level of content that wasn't hardcore enough for R but too much for PG.

Symbolically, yeah, Temple of Doom is pretty much remembered as the first PG-13, but of course lots of movies before that would qualify in retrospect.
Here's a thought. Given the MCU is now in the multiverse saga where all of the Garfield and Maguire spiderman films are cannon, one might argue considerinf Deadpool and Wolverine that it is possible that the X-Men movies are within the MCU multiverse, meaning that High Jackman has stolen the first MCU f-bomb from Chris Pratt.
“As Good As It Gets” would have been good for this video. Helen Hunt dropped the F-bomb 3 times in that film, which I think is a record for a PG-13 rated movie.
