Ok, I had to go pull some evidence for Craig on this one. There's a very popular fan theory that Craig is adopted, and drawing him more tan usually goes along with this. South Park Studios even, which they NEVER have done otherwise, acknowledged this theory in 2016 on the website's blog. They also list the possibility of him being Peruvian/Incan in the blog post!! So it's not entirely unfounded if even the source material gives it a shout out. It's only grown as a popular theory since then. So drawing a little bit of mild variety to help distinguish characters in a reanimate is pretty common.

I saw so many of these tiny clips years ago when I was just a teenager, now I’m an adult in my third year of getting a bachelor degree in animation. And this is still the coolest thing ever and I had no idea it was a part of a bigger project.
@@Hysteriette Fat is a bit more complicated than "ball". It's rolls, layers of skin piled up and weighed down into a pear or triangle. The entire body is an uneven diamond if you put the feet in a neutral position. Just need to look up a reference for a child who's twice the weight they should be, you'll see that it's a bit more complicated than a ball.
Tigrin worked on Fractured But Whole!!! She is the one responsible for the Craig and tweek body pillow reward you get for collecting all the yaoi. Super cool to have her in the project!

Seeing the easter eggs to other episodes, popular memes being added, and the different animation sytles is just awesome to see all the work and tiny details you'll see and miss, and it makes this amazingly awesome to rewatch and find new things over and over again. Like Butters having a scar over his left eye in multiple scenes, Dolphin Gerald, and the Captain Underpants art style at 8:28! 😂 The whole team did an amazing job, and congratulations to everyone who participated in the making of it. This is awesome. 🤩

My favorite part of this IS THE EASTER EGGS FROM DIFFERENT EPISODES. The scar on butters eye after the shurikin in 1 scene, gerald becoming a dolphin for a scene. This is such a love letter to south park. I hope matt and trey see this!
Seeing all the unique animations ranging from starkly detailed and weirdly teenage kid anime-esque styles to the unhinged nightmare fuel MeatCanyon-esque designs of scenes from an actual South Park episode is a pretty cool way of paying homage and showing where the animators lie in the show’s fandom. They also make the unexpected animations with the characters’ actual canon designs like at 2:51 and 7:25 all the more jarring!
Projects like these, especially for full length 21 minute episodes, are soooooo hard to get off the ground! Sorry to hear about your collab, and thanks for watching!!

My personal favourite is the bartkira manga which, if you dont know it, is the entire akira manga redrawn in hundeds of creators' styles but with simpsons characters

10:30 KYLE'S NOSE SIDE PROFILE YAYYYY, normally people draw him with not his cannon nose. The animation is so pretty and smooth, and each animator has their own unique drawing style which makes the reanimation even better
The anime visual novel was one of the best parts. Loved the inclusion of some comic book style art too. Super unique. Haven’t seen that from other reanimated projects.
It’s SO COOL seeing clips I recognize from TikTok here. I totally thought they were just.. reanimations made for op, not a whole project like this. This is awesome!! Brings me back to when I first got into south park

It’s so cool to see so many art styles and how different people interpret characters and scenes. This is so dope! I even recognized snippets here and there not realizing they were part of a greater project!

how did i not see this until now. I remember seeing people doing scenes from like years and years ago! I cannot believe this is finally done. Everyone did so well. Like it's so smooth and artistic. I love the styles and stuff so good!
