This song deserved WAY more airplay than it got. Scott Weiland is great. STP has never been the same without him, and this is a quality song. It reminds me of some of the songs off of "TIny Music..."
I don't know, I heard the album with Chester and I wanted to hate it so bad, but I couldn't. It's really good. I would like to see the band move on and make more albums. Whether it's with Scott as STP, Chester as STP or Dave as Talk Show, I just want to hear more DeLeo riffs.
I love STP, but Scott has no one to blame but himself for getting kicked out. The DeLeo brothers have worked to hard to have him keep screwing up. I'm just lucky I got to see them in Charlotte last time they toured. One of the few dates Scott wasn't out of it.
Ms.CanadaUSA I'd love to hear your reply to describe your thought on Tiny Music. I listen to that album a lot, know it backwards and forwards. Not sure I hear what you mean, but am respectful to your thoughts...
@@ComaAlpha Not about drugs..............He lived outside CLE from age 5 to 15 - he is missing the freedom from responsibility & innocence of childhood.
I figured the Gallagher brothers are holding that torch. Either way, it's pretty sad and pathetic that the days of great and timeless bands has ended. They told us rock 'n' roll would never die. But here we are experiencing it, already.
What a song..Recently moved from the west coast and now living in Cleveland. I've been an STP fan since Plush played on 91x in San Diego when I was 7. Now here I am at 37 seeing this for the first time
These are my dreams and day dreams. Scott really hit it on the head. A great job with a home in the Hollywood Hills and a hot wife wearing retro clothes.
This music is about drugs...in his biography scott tells that when he took drugs he felt like he was in space....so the space ships are syringes...and him with the space suit is he felling like he was in space....the end i think is too sad to say...
@Altiplanonublado Because MTV and VH1 stopped actually playing videos and focused more on reality shows and stupid Decade Nostalgia shows that were old ten years ago.
@NateSean Yes, you're right, although I think Mtv play current videos, a lot of pop, and a little of rock, but a kind of rock, that I think, is mostly for teenagers. Regards
elijah franklin oh shit, I hadn't put that together but yeah you're right. Heartbreaking 💔 God rest his weary soul. There will NEVER be another Scott😘😘😘
elijah franklin really interesting, thank you. I know STP and Sublime have hardly anything in common, but of my three favorite musicians in my lifetime, they're all heroin addicts from CA and two of them are dead. Here's to the living life of Anton Newcombe of The Brian Jonestown Massacre who is miraculously sober now, but if you listen to his song "Cabin Fever", take into account Brad Nowell's "Badfish", you will see what I mean about heroin's wrought havoc and the clear cries for help.
Sad is it is drugs make bands better. Aerosmith really fell off when they sobered up. Makes for great music, but horrible live performances once they lose control.
I can listen to this song repeat for an hour even though it makes me cry when I'm alone.
Same 😢😅

@@gonzo202 The vocal layering is very similar to Tiny Music in my opinion.
No scott no stp its just a money grab
Cleveland is missing you too brother. See you on the other side.
where is he exactly?
he's dead.
You realize that Cleveland was a metaphor for drugs, right?

@@ComaAlpha oops - this is logged on to my daughters account - please don't respond directly.
this album is so underrated and so is Scott 😭😭😭💔💔💔
RIP Scott. The Last Rock Star.
He sure was 😢
Last of the true Rockstar.... R I P ... Scott

I absolutely adore this song..... I know you tried to hold on. I pray you are at peace now. We will never forget you. ♡♡
Agreed
I miss Scott so much. STP Core is still one of my all time favorite albums. 🤘🤘

Wish you could have heard Scott sing it. So glad I got to see him three times
welcome to real pain, brother!
Very underrated song. RIP Scott
He could've played young Clint Eastwood in a biopic, i love him, what a senseless death.
He had that look for velvet revolver -she builds quick machines video-
The Last Rock Star
Absolutely.
The man is a genius. Positively irreplaceable.x
This song is so fucking great in every aspect. RIP Mr Scott Weiland.
Wish this wasn’t removed from Spotify :(
I just listened to it on Spotify a minute ago. I guess it's BACK.
I think it’s back up on Spotify. ❤
This song is so good. I love the chorus. You're holding on but letting go always reminds me of someone dying. It's an emotional song. Very very good!
There's something really special about this song
The whole album is amazing.
He had this way with music and melody that was unique. I miss his music and wish he was still here.
Yes He was an amazing melody writer
Best Weiland video, gets its point across artfully without glorifying what happened to this poor guy and his family
Cleveland,Ohio misses you too dude !!! I so wish I had gotten the chance to see you in concert live but my bad
the velvet revolver show by the water was great, he was sober, and had friends and some old teachers there.
Cuyahoga Falls misses him too…………..I got to see him 4 times all with STP too……… every concert was epic! 🤘
Such a great song, so real and true

te extraño mucho scott!
Scott & Doug Grean (guitar) did a great job with writing and producing this album.

I think it might be about his childhood in Cleveland.

This video is really sad. The rockets are syringes and he's talking about his raging heroine habit.
