Scott looked great here. Such a huge loss to his family, friends, fans, and the music world. Was fortunate to have seen him perform multiple times in STP and VR.
He reminds me of my grandpa Scott. Not long before weiland died, I called my old man. He picked up the phone but was too weak to answer. I told him I'd call him tomorrow. The next day, I got word he was gone. I'm just glad I got to talk Jesus with him. Both guys have a place in my heart.
Lately I've been watching some of their videos - "Days of the Week", "Interstate Love Song", and "Sex Type Thing", to name a few - and I have to actively remind myself that I can't rationalize lusting after a man who's been dead for five years this December. As I watch Weiland sing "Sex Type Thing" ("I am, I am, I am, I said I wanna get next to you/ I said I'm gonna get close to you"), subconsciously I think he's singing to me.
Scott had that rock n roll glow very few have. You know when a lead singer is trying too hard to be cool and trying to wear it, but when Weiland entered the room you nodded your head and said he has got it... Great front man.

The thing about Kilbourne is if he had a starlet on he would casually flirt with her and you would be thinking, I'll bet he can get her into bed in ten minutes. Fuergeson was even better and defenitley more absurdly comical. Then Corden, ughhh, Carpool Karaoke!!! All he is trying to do is cheaply appeal to a younger, generation who is growing up with social media and horrendously bad pop music! He really doesn't have anything personality wise to bring to the table. The show is unwatchable. I knew it was going to be bad the minute I saw a beer logo in the background of the set on the first episode. That was just a red flag!
taylor williamson I never had cable in the 90s nor do I like sports.
A great frontman
KILBORN- THE BEST OF ALL TIME!!
Miss you, still listening, still watching.....
wow seeing this makes me sad , he was a shining star in my generation and there will never be anybody like him again ..rest well Scott
Lucky to have seen them once live with Red Hot Chili Peppers, I think somewhere around 2002-2002. He was such a hottie
Awesome video
Very intellectual and sensitive man. Perhaps being in rock bands was too limiting for him personally and musically. I could easily have seen him doing a Michael Buble type of music. His voice was that good. What a shame.
