At the time we made this Scott was still alive and thriving... i had kept those masters at my dear friend and long time editing partner Jamie Mitchell's home and place of business Beachwood Cottage Films, but tragically not long after Scott passed away, I'd suggested to Jamie we amend the ending to include Scott with Michael in the tribute fade which he insisted we'd attend to as soon as he could but Jamie was suffering from chronic health problems by this time too and had become physically handicapped and sadly Jamie too passed away not long after Scott. So it really should read: for Michael for Scott and for Jamie...brothers all may they R.I.P. I'd personally known Michael the longest He and I had become fast friends in 97 well before He would end up introducing me to Scott at a New Years Eve party In the Hollywood Hills in 98... We worked together on several projects Michael mostly liked the Art Department though he was also uniquely talented and could do pretty much anything on set and was fun to work with so he quickly became a staple in my skeleton crew, he was also a fabulous percussionist. Scott and I would first work together during a project I was filming for Limp Bizkit documenting the making are there a sophomore album "significant other" which featured Scott as both a guest Vocalist and collaborator along with Fred and a list of others. Jamie would begin working with me in 04 on Panic Chanell, Dave Navarro's pet project together with the remaining Jane's lineup of that time only featuring Steve Isaacs on Lead Vocals Chris Chambers on Bass and Steven Perkins on drums... Perry was taking a break the band persuing His own solo project... it's all very interconnected and complicated...
Thanks so much for releasing this. Scott truly was a beautiful Soul. I always loved this version of Dancing Days. The song is particularly meaningful to me,way back from when I was 12. This is a reminder of the power of Music and Art bringing everyone together.
@@truthteller9772 Michael's official cause of death was Heart Failure... To insinuate that Michael's heart condition may have been caused by chemical dependency is purely speculative... This is my favorite STP video on RUclips. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing it. ScoScott is my 2nd favorite rock singer of all-time and one of the TOP 3 sexiest men of all time. I miss him every day...
2nd favorite rock singer of all-time? Not ripping on your opinion. Just wondering who you have at number 1? Scott Weiland is THE GREATEST FRONTMAN, VOCALIST, LYRICIST OF ALL-TIME!!!
Scott weiland was one of the best! My first show to see the original STP was that a KROQ weenie roast a bunch of bands played. The other times I saw him play he was with Velvet revolver. The last show was at the Hollywood Bowl I believe it was 2007. Frankly I can't believe even though people still want to hear STP. It's not STP without Scott. Great cover of a great band also Led Zeppelin. Yet another one of my favorite bands.
Scott had the Quintessential rock baritone, like Jim Morrison, David Bowie before him he could belt some decent highs but also croon those low warm velvet vibratos' but unlike the Bowie and Morrison, he also had a natural rasp in his tone
He was terribel to get his brother hooked on drugs and his wife that's no hero his brother's death was his demon that he could'nt handel ,and his wife was no good for him asking him for drugs good he divorced her ,but he cheated on his first wife with his second wife ,and then cheated on his second wife with his third wife ,GET IT ; you know that old saying if you had an affare with a man most likely he will cheat on you with someone else .

As the summer evenings grow
I got my flower, I got my power
I got a woman who knows
You know it's all right
I said it's all right
I guess it's all in my heart
You'll be my only, my one and only

In the way you're wearing your clothes

As the evening starts to glow
I said it's all right
You know it's all right
I guess it's all in my heart
You'll be my only, my one and only
If that's the way it should start
I told your mama I'd get you home
But you didn't say I got no car
I saw a lion, he was standing alone
With a tadpole in a jar
I know it's all right
You said it's all right
I guess it's all in my heart
You'll be my only
my one and only
If that's the way it should start

WOW I was THERE! Miller Beer Secret concert. Won a radio contest & flown from L.A. to stay @ The Mirage and had NO IDEA who we were seeing. Tenacious D. the opening act booed off the stage. Jack Black NOT famous then. I met by accident in the crowd the promoter from Miller from back in the days in NYC as the vocalist for " Columbian Necktie" - Free drink tickets. Score. Nice!! How he knew me? Guess I made an impact in my own way. Small world. Great show...
@DavidVollmar I was at the show as well!! E P I C!!! Blew me away!!
Miss Ya Scott, We Do
This is my favorite STP video on RUclips. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing it.
ScoScott is my 2nd favorite rock singer of all-time and one of the TOP 3 sexiest men of all time. I miss him every day...
Mine too man
2nd favorite rock singer of all-time? Not ripping on your opinion. Just wondering who you have at number 1?
Scott Weiland is THE GREATEST FRONTMAN, VOCALIST, LYRICIST OF ALL-TIME!!!
You will be missed Mr. Weiland. RIP :(
Love STP and that song actually one of my favourite LZ song! Cheers from Ukraine.
Iconic Rockstar right there. Hell of a singer.
Gold Man...fu%@n gold. Thanks for sharing. Long live Scott Weiland. 🙏 from Buenos Aires.
thank you mr. Racco! Scott you'r legend,r.i.p...
3:27... I love that these guys were all brothers. He was loved.
Damn, I totally forgot about this song cover. Rest well, buddy.
Just saw this for the 1st time, thanks for posting! #RIPLEGEND
He really seemed like such a cool dude. Why are the best fucking people always taken early?
Just spent hours looking for this song...that began as an earworm. Very rewarding payoff...now I will consider taking rest.
I still love him! Miss him!
What a lovely, delicate version of this song. And I heard the original live way back when, so am a tough crowd.
...for me they are both equal.
This was my absolute FAVE part of the live STP show I caught circa 1998. It was fkng INCREDIBLE...the entire show. so so sooo unfair.
He could'nt handel it that is why he is dead .rest in peace scott .
