i really love the pace of this song, it's just right on, everywhere.
Great quality of picture, Billy raging, Jimmy blistering, James playing lead...and not to be shallow, but D'Arcy looks fantastic. Cool.
Smashing Pumkins are a great band. Billy is a great writer and musician and I just love looking at Darcy.
Darcy is totally up Hot!
She's not only eye candy she is a solid bassist that toured the world, love D'arcy
J'adore regarder d'arcy
Def! Clicked on the vid to see her in that little tank tee
Me as well. I always liked watching her play bass. So beautiful
THE WORLD IS A VAMPIRE
Indeed, it is
Secret destroyers
Hold you up to the flames.
...for my paiiyeayain...
Betrayed desires
dayumm D'Arcy 💔
How he manages not to cough is beyond my comprehension of human anatomy.
Zendrig
Practice and hydration.
They toured relentlessly. Eventually your voice gets used to it.
Look up shows from 1994. This is the year when his voice started to change to this one.
Probably that would be the same reason why he unfortunately lost a bit of it. I'm no vocal teacher or anything like that, but even though it sounds awesome it doesn't seem healthy at all. Getting used to it is a way to destroy your voice
Ahh D'arcy, the mind runs wild...
Wow, smashing pumpkins are pretty good live!
i just noticed the way james iha strums and all i can say is ooof, i hope his wrists are ok after so many years of doing that
The sheer power they're bouncing off the audience is fucking insane...it rocks so goddamn much...fucking legendary song
Yeah greatest live performance ever!
One of the best live performances
This song takes me back. It rocks.dont care who you are. It rocks.
3:37 my sister's favorite part may she rest in peace
Jimmy Chamberlein is absolutely destroying those drums in such a clean, efficient & smooth effort.
some kind of enter sandmen I play this 2 tracks in the studio with friends
I agree he nailed it to the wall with some big nails
I'm thinking there probably not using a click track probably couldn't hear it anyway
He’s playing them efficiently for the song not much there not hard
I dunno if Jimmy and clean were words associated with each other in the 90s.
Imposible recordar los 90s sin los Smashing Pumpkins
I miss the 1990's
And when KROQ and Mtv played music.
colt45 Peacemaker I'm agree with you
Fuck KROQ. They fired Ralph Garman.
I hope their studio burns down.
Saw them in Manchester yesterday. Never been a big fan of bullet. It absolutely went off though, the crowd just exploded around me. I appreciate bullet now. Will forever remember running into some dude whilst Billy screamed despite all my rage.
People need to realize the lyrics and what's he's singing about. It's about him. This guy is a savage that was being held back from childhood trauma. This is what he's trying to express before he sings with a calm voice...then suddenly burst into a scream. He's free now. Same thing goes with the song Zero.
"Bullet With Butterfly Wings"
The world is a vampire, sent to drain
Secret destroyers, hold you up to the flames
And what do I get, for my pain?
Betrayed desires, and a piece of the game
Even though I know - I suppose I'll show
All my cool and cold - like old Job
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Then someone will say what is lost can never be saved
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Now I'm naked, nothing but an animal
But can you fake it, for just one more show?
And what do you want?
I want to change
And what have you got, when you feel the same?
Even though I know - I suppose I'll show
All my cool and cold - like old Job
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Then someone will say what is lost can never be saved
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Tell me I'm the only one
Tell me there's no other one
Jesus was the only son, yeah
Tell me I'm the chosen one
Jesus was the only son for you
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
And someone will say what is lost can never be saved
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Tell me I'm the only one
Tell me there's no other one
Jesus was the only son for you
And I still believe that I cannot be saved
And I still believe that I cannot be saved
And I still believe that I cannot be saved
And I still believe that I cannot be saved
J'ai tellement fantasmé sur cette bassiste : incroyablement BELLE ! 😍
Billy was always a god on the guitar even among his 90s shredder contemporaries, he took the path of texture and melody instead of tedious notes-per-second and emerged a transcendent master.
