@@46thandBliss You’re right that in unplugged he SEEMED pretty jocular and chill. That said, by the accounts I’ve read he had to be pumped full of valium or something to stave off the withdrawals during the performance. There’s a section about it in Heavier Than Heaven.
Which is a little bit odd, come to think of it. I’m a complete square and I’m fairly sure that even I could score some dope in NYC if I wanted to😆
Also, with the small, intimate audience for unplugged maybe he felt a little more at ease as opposed to playing in front of thousands in a stadium or whatever. Who knows.

Another one of my all-time favorite Nirvana performances. The sound and quality of this recording is incredible. I mailed a letter to Krist's studio about 4-5 months ago and today I got a signed photo/postcard addressed to me back in the mail. It said "Dear Keith, ROCK ON! -Krist". The LAST thing I was ever expecting. As a long-time Nirvana fan with a Nevermind album logo tattoo..it just made my fucking year! Thank you so much Krist!!!

Really sad to watch these old videos now, but glad they are still around to be viewed though. I was only 12 years old back in 1991, when this was filmed, and was a huge Nirvana fan back then (and still am!). Hard to believe, just 4 years later, that Dave would go on to form the Foo Fighters, and turn out to be such an incredible vocalist and guitarist himself, and even still be killing it almost 30 freakin' years later! Extremely sad how everything ended with Nirvana, though, and everyhing that occurred to cause the ultimate demise of that band, but I often wonder if Kurt had still been alive, would Nirvana still be togteher, and still making music? Would the Foo Fighters ever have been started?? Pointless qustions, I know, but just questions that I've always asked myself over the last, almost, 30 years.

I started searching for newer content and I was really confused why didn't they realease new songs and albums, and then my mom said to me "Kurt Cobain isn't with us anymore, neither Nirvana is".
