They fuckn snapped. I'm just now going down the rabbit hole over Nirvana. Didn't even realize how good they were until I started seeing the t-shirts everyone wears. For me it’s the beginning man, the way you can faintly hear grohl tap a hi-hat in anticipation.. the snare fill and the BOOM, the camera slowly zooms in as the lights come on and you get to see the flood, the tsunami, the ocean of people losing their minds over it
@@akoskari42 Yeah so many people shit on Chad Channing for no reason. He was still a great drummer. He may not be as great as Dave Ghrol but he was still awesome.

this is probably my favorite Nirvana song. Just the sheer power and simplicity. The verse is straight up destruction and the chorus feels like the essence of punk anarchism. Like a giant fucking middle finger. That scream at the end, and the harmony between guitar and voice is just insane to me. Dave is a fucking beast on the live version and Krist gets the building to the verge of collapse.

I've been listening to the 1-2 punch of school and aneurysm for the last few months .... I just can't get enough. PURE EMOTION. I just LOVE kurt's guitar playing. RAW and almost uncontainable .... bursting with FURY.
Damn this was the most awesome band at an amazing time in history for music. There is NOTHING as good as this now. I just found this after all these years. Take me back in time and I'll stay there.
I swear, it’s something about Kurt and his songs starting with the letter S - smells like teen spirit, school, sliver, something in the way, and stay away
Man one of the best 3 piece bands to ever exist. So much power from each individual. If Dave Grohl hadn't have joined up, they wouldn't have been as big I dont think. His drumming put them in the position to be huge and that's what happened. Prior to Dave, the drummers were Nirvana's weak area. Thank God for Dave Grohl and his excellent drumming.
I agree, I feel like the best part of nirvana songs is usually almost always the drum. It’s like a constant beat that drives the songs like an engine. The way he drums makes it impossible not to like it, they’re usually so groovy too in addition to them being monstrous and hard hitting.
People who say Kurt is a shitty guitar player should listen to this live performance. It’s all about the sound and the groove and he absolutely crushed it on this song.
The middle like distorted guitar "solo" part of this song ( i dont know the correct music term) is one of my favorite pieces of Nirvana's music...I'd be dancing so hard
@@Jack_nnn_ I just didn't totally understand what he meant, it's didn't fully seem like he meant the actual solo and a lot of other people were talking about either or in the same way
Dave was vital to this band's massive success. The energy, raw aggression, and skillful, animalistic throb he brought to this banger of a song is incredible.
If there was any concert I could attend, it’d be this one. Prime Nirvana.
