I think this performance made Bleach songs sound much better than they usually do live. The drums sound full and resonant, the mixing is done well, bass is maybe a little too quiet, but otherwise it sounds great.
That’s because bleach they made for fun, rather then being pressured into making it. They also had a different drummer at the time, chad Channing, who I think was really important to launching the band to success. I’ve met him irl he’s really nice very humble
The Senate don’t forget, Dale played Floyd, Paper Cuts, and Downer. Also they didn’t make Bleach for fun, they made it to put themselves on the scene. That’s why it’s so heavy and grungy in comparison to the next two (3, if you consider Incesticide).

Nirvana é como a cura para meus problemas, como um refugio onde me escondo dos meus medos e monstros internos; Kurt, Krist e Dave, eu amo voces eternamente.
You wouldn't want to auto-tune this -- you simply don't auto-tune grunge. But on another note, Kurt's voice was not amazing; he had horrible technique, and he knew it. It was perfect for his needs, but closer to the end he'd been warned again and again that he'd destroy his vocal if he kept on the way he did.

Despite the fact that the song sounded good and everyone in the band liked it, Cobain didn't want to include it in the first album, as being a pop song, he was afraid of disappointing punk and underground fans However, the producer of the album Bleach included it, and without making much noise, it went unnoticed until its performance on MTV Unplugged in 1993, where it later became one of their most distinctive songs and allowed Nirvana to become a popular band beyond the grunge genre. At the beginning of MTV Unplugged, Kurt himself mentions before starting the song that it was one of his first songs, but not everyone had it in mind. Kurt originally composed the song for his girlfriend Tracy Marander, who had mentioned to him the fact that he had never written a song for her before. However, due to the problems they were going through in their relationship, Kurt never told her that it was inspired by her, and Tracy Marander only found out in 1988 when she read the band's biography written by Michael Azerrad.
Considered Kurt Cobain's first great pop composition, it is said to have been written and recorded at home, after the musician spent an entire night listening to the album Meet The Beatles from the late eighties, Cobain sought to hide his intentions to write pop music, since he was afraid of dividing the band's fans with a sound different from grunge and the underground, he considered it to be something risky for the time.

The fact that KC is playing it on a humbucker pickup (like in the original records) also has an importance in thickening the sound.
