When D’arcy smiles she just captures your heart. This band is so underrated. Don’t get me wrong. I loved them from the beginning. But listening with fresh ears and nostalgia, I can’t believe how amazing the truly were (are).
D'arcy's appearance in the video makes this even more sad and special just like the song they can never turn back in time so what we are left with is just the mere precious timeless memories. Edit: this specific live version means so much to me because it inspired me a lot back in the early days so this is no less a beginning mark of my musical journey i always come back here once in a while to remind myself where and how i started and also how far I’ve come, the band means so much to me and somehow this live version always manage to live deep within me no matter where i end up in life because it was the most inspired i ever was, I’ll always treasure this beautiful memories till the end of my journey, thank you smashing pumpkins.

I would say this is a pretty good performance for them but honestly the opposite of always been my gripe about this band. Billy's voice sounds awful live and heavenly on those couple albums that we all love from them

There's just nothing like seeing a dark stadium lit up by thousands of real live individual flames. Now, there aren't any lighters in the air. And only about half the crowd turns on their phone's flashlight instead. The flashlight gives a feeling of cold light, not a warm color like fire. And it only faces one direction. It's just not the same. Not the same at all...
20 years now since their second album Siamese Dreams just blew the roof off of alt rock in the early 90s; rocks just as hard as Pearl Jam, but more sublime. The first lineup was the best with Iha and D'arcy.
