A. Lange & Söhne LANGE 1 is my ultimate 'grail' watch. Forget about Patek , AP or F.P. Journe... Its definitely an A Langer if I ever have that amount of money to spend on a watch. No question, no doubt. ' ZEIT-ZONEN-SYNCHRONISATIONS-MECHANISMUS maximusdecimusmeridius hahahaha....
Love the video! Was hoping for a mention of cost? I mean, not going to run out and buy one, but I guessed $130,000? Am I way out there or close? My G Shock allows for different time zones, but is much harder to set and read than this model.
Great video, a pleasure to watch (and listen to). The original Lange 1 Zeitzone is one of my favorite watches from ALS, so great to see this being refreshed with meaningful updates. Watched this with sound off yesterday and almost thought it was going to have a programming wheel for daylight saving or something (set them on/off independently, represented in the triangle). That would have been absolutely wild. Couldn't wrap my head around how that would be mechanically possible, and so I guess watching with sound now it's not surprising that's not what it was. Still a thoughtful thing though, the triangle indicator.
What a great watch. And another Lange i will never own. But the zeitgeist and the automatic perpetual calender are still my favorite. I would still give a limb to own this one tbh. 😅
