I've liked Greg Kinnear in every movie of his that I've seen. He always seems so natural, regardless of the role he's playing. I'm disappointed that he didn't discuss his role in The Kennedys mini-series. Playing JFK doesn't qualify as an iconic character?!?! There have been many actors who've played Jack Kennedy. I think Kinnear's performance is the best one I've ever seen. I wish he'd talked about it.
@@OneFlewOverTheCuckoo1999 They meant the best portrayal of JFK, not of president in general, so weird to compare different portrayals of different presidents...
They should've mentioned Stuck In Love (a very well acted dramedy with arguably one of his best performances) and Mystery Team as Captain Amazing (as a narcissistic self aware superhero).
I always admired Greg Kinnear as an actor. He always brought a native intelligence to each role he played. As I hear him speak about his career, he seems so unlike the self-assured persona I've come to expect.
He’s one of my favorite actors, Mr. Kinnear is so talented & seems genuine but for some reason, he never became an a-lister like he deserves. “Auto Focus” & his role as Simon in SGTG are my favorite of his. I thought “Stuck On You” was an oddly funny movie too. I’m very surprised he didn’t mention his role as JFK? :/ Oh, and he’s quite good looking.😏
One of the best films I've ever seen was called "The Matador," starring Pierce Brosnan and a superb (and terribly underrated) Greg Kinnear. If you haven't watched it yet, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!!! For me, this little known gem was the best picture of the year, with many independents like this one missing out completely. *Show your support.*
This video should have way more views than 500. Such an underrated actor, what a shame. I remember watching Little Miss Sunshine at a friends house when I was 13 and just loving it, loving the acting and the story and being in awe of how good a film could be.
I wrote a film script with Greg in mind as the lead. A contemporary survival/love story with a historical epic backstory. His ability to convey emotion is among the best of the best. Im still sitting on it, ready for submission.
Hey Mike MJ, I'm disappointed he didn't talk about Robots. He was Ratchet in Robots. The robot who was the head of Bigweld Industries. He was also mean to Rodney. The protagonist of the movie.
I accidentally watched a few of his movies within a month (wasn't familiar with him before) and then I watched Black Bird. So, safe to say I'm now obsessed with him and will probably watch a lot of his stuff.
He did a movie called “flash of genius“. It’s about the true story of the guy who invented the first intermittent windshield wiper. I know it sounds lame, but he’s great in it. Try to find it somewhere on Netflix maybe periodically.

I wish he'd talked about Bojack Horseman's Greg Kinglear
Can’t say enough good stuff about GK. Like Sam Rockwell, just an amazing talent that seems to fly under the radar somehow.
I do understand the sentiment and you are not wrong but at least Sam Rockwell won an Oscar last year (finally)...
Sam Rockwell has an Oscar... But I know what you mean
Greg Kinnear does have an Oscar nomination, but that was a long time ago.
Little Miss Sunshine is one of my all time faves. I remember crying watching the super freak scene for the first time.
Little Miss Sunshine -- one of my all time favorite movies!
No kidding mine too !!!!!!!! 🥹
Such a genuine dude and how did I not realize how many classics he's in? Also hes still a dreamboat.
He’s a total dreamboat and I’m sure he has no idea.
ONe of the most underrated actors out there.
Little Miss Sunshine is such a good film!! One of my absolute faves.

IOAFan I haven’t seen him playing JFK, but nobody can beat Daniel Day-Lewis’ Abraham Lincoln.
*I thought he was Great as **_JFK_** too!*
They made him *look* so much like him too, in that series. *Especially* his *hairstyle*

this post is about jfk, not abe.
Totally agree.
@@OneFlewOverTheCuckoo1999 They meant the best portrayal of JFK, not of president in general, so weird to compare different portrayals of different presidents...
He should have won an Oscar already, he's always great.
Little Miss Sunshine is my go to feel good/comfort movie. No matter how many times I watch it I always laugh and cry like the first time I saw it.
It saddens me that Alan Rickman will never do one of these
Or Philip Seymour Hoffman
@@andrewmerritt4878or robin willams and John candy !
Loved him in “Stuck in Love”, I wish I had a father figure like his character. Everything he does seems so flawless.
Completely underrated Actor. He was Captain Amazing for god sakes.
Why does this have such low views? People don't appreciate talent anymore.
just came out today
Cause millennials don’t know who Greg kinnear is
@@lonzo1110 I'm a millennial and I know who Greg Kinnear is...
I like Greg Kinnear a lot but unfortunately I do think its because he is a bit of a discount William H Macy
@@lonzo1110 I'm 22, do I count as a millennial??
Our favorite actor. He is so versatile and adorable! He can play any role. We love him in Little Miss Sunshine. I saw that movie many times.
They should've mentioned Stuck In Love (a very well acted dramedy with arguably one of his best performances) and Mystery Team as Captain Amazing (as a narcissistic self aware superhero).
He seems like a nice and down to earth guy.
Oh. I loved Greg Kinnear because he's just delightful. That makes sense.
I always admired Greg Kinnear as an actor. He always brought a native intelligence to each role he played. As I hear him speak about his career, he seems so unlike the self-assured persona I've come to expect.
He plays the doofus so well, it's amazing to see how cool and funny he really is! Extremely underrated actor
He played John Kennedy in the mini series The Kennedys perfectly.
Greg is underrated. Great actor.
I loved Greg Kinnear in As Good As It Gets.
He forgot his most memorable role - Captain Amazing on Mystery Men.
THIS ^^^^^^^
This is why I came, so disappointed.
Chef_PC yes..
I watched the whole thing waiting for him to get to that one. :(
This comment saved me watching this video
Little miss sunshine is such a beautiful film, totally accurate representation of a real family dynamic.
Wow, He seems like a very genuine and funny guy!
I have a crush on him
gotta love mr kinnear, great actor, quite underrated... seems like a legit nice guy aswell.

Oh, and he’s quite good looking.😏
Anyone else love his voice? So soothing
He looks like what McKauley Culkin should have ended up looking like as an adult.

Matador is a really great movie, much much better than Little Miss Sunshine.

LMS was pure cinematic DREK. People have very low expectations.
I loved Greg Kinnear since he was in "Talk Soup!"
Little miss sunshine is a master piece
This man is talented! Just love the guy and his films
He was so good in "The Gift"
This video should have way more views than 500. Such an underrated actor, what a shame. I remember watching Little Miss Sunshine at a friends house when I was 13 and just loving it, loving the acting and the story and being in awe of how good a film could be.
one of the best, such a charming person
Greg Kinnear is great in everything he has ever done
He’s a really good actor. I’m suprised his career didn’t soar high after As Good As It Gets.
They should have talked about The Gift. One of his best roles.
As Good As It Gets is still the greatest film ever made
So proud to see so many Mystery Men fans here. How sad they don't mention it here.
I so wanted him to speak about Stuck In Love..... Will always be one of my favorite movies
Dude is the textbook definition of underrated acters. I think he's one of the greats
when he doesnt mention Stuck in Love
And Stuck On You
I wrote a film script with Greg in mind as the lead. A contemporary survival/love story with a historical epic backstory. His ability to convey emotion is among the best of the best. Im still sitting on it, ready for submission.
I love Sabrina and You've Got Mail. I try to watch them, as much as I can get.
I watched As good as it gets so many times because I had the biggest crush on Greg Kinnear, he is still as handsome as he always was.
This guy was one of the few good parts of You season 4. Great actor.
I remember getting to know Kinear in ”Later”, the talk show he hosted in mid-nineties
I first watched him in 'Talk Soup'.
Two of my favorite movies with him that they didn’t mention. The Matador and Flash of Genius. Both great movies.
Oh yes!!!
The three people who downvoted are Casanova Frankenstein and his Disco Boys.
Disco is not dead. Disco is life!
LOOOOOOOOVED Little Miss Sunshine! Sooooo amazing!
He seems like a pretty nice dude
3:20 is me WAY too often.
Greg Kinnears portrayal of John F Kennedy in the mini-serious the Kennedys was i thought spot on with that Boston accent.
Kinnear is very charismatic without giving you the feeling that he is very charismatic.
Disappointed he didn't talk about Mystery Men
I agree. I'm pretty sure it was the first movie I saw him in.
I forgot that one, thank you!
Hey Mike MJ, I'm disappointed he didn't talk about Robots. He was Ratchet in Robots. The robot who was the head of Bigweld Industries. He was also mean to Rodney. The protagonist of the movie.
Someone Like You? Anyone else remember this movie?
Kinnear was very good in it, playing a detestable character.
I own it and love it !!!!!
Great soundtrack too!
I accidentally watched a few of his movies within a month (wasn't familiar with him before) and then I watched Black Bird. So, safe to say I'm now obsessed with him and will probably watch a lot of his stuff.
I was really hoping for some Mystery Men love!
Brigsby Bear! That film is amazing and heartwarming
cant wait til i can write a check for 7 million dollars and continue with my day
The Matador! Come on! He and Pierce Brosnan were Spectacular and it was perfect.
Just watched his,"Same kind of Different as me"...Very nice screenplay and acting...
I'm a huge fan. I would love to hear Greg's experiences in "Mystery Men"!!!!
Auto Focus was his best role for sure!
Stuck on You deserves to be up here. Give it 10 more years. You'll see.
The real tragedy is that he didn't talk about his part in bojack as King GregLear
amazing actor, he is good at everything he does
Loved little miss sunshine
The Matador. Underrated.
I remember when he was on Talk Soup on E! Entertainment.
He'll always be Captain Amazing to me.
He's the reason I rewatch Sabrina every time it's on TV.
The gift and ghost town are great movies too xx
I'm a simple girl. I see Little Miss Sunshine in the thumbnail and I click. Did not disappoint!
Hes awesome.
Brigsby bear is phenomenal
Stuck on You. Amazingly under rated.

Underrated actor
Looooved him in As Good As It Gets
Schann Stewart You and me both!! Such a great movie (contrary to what some might think)
Wish you had Stuck in Love too, he’s fantastic in it.
I really liked Greg Kinnear in “Dear God”, too.
loved him on Talk Soup!
He didn't mention Robots
Where is "Mystery Men"? Greg Kinnear was great in the movie. Seriously under-rated superhero flick.
I still remember when he hosted the Later Show
Thats Craig Kilborn
great actor ...
Not a movie, but I've liked him since Talk Soup.
Was hoping to get his take on "We were Soldiers"
Oh my god, it's Captain Amazing!
no Mystery Men?
This guy is so great in little miss sunshine
As good as it gets, you've got mail....best long haul movies!🎉
No Invincible?? or The Last Song? He did such an awesome job!!
