His Marshall from HIMYM is my role model as a man, husband and a father - he is humble, loyal and is always there for his family and his friends.

He really is one of the unspoken enough about GOATs. Seeing him in Shrinking made me realize and reflect on his catalog. He really is solid and wholesome.

I’m in a lovely place now but for a while the HIMYM group was my therapy and friend group that got me through my own personal rough times and Marshall shines like a beacon with his friendship above all

One of my favorite movies is Palm Springs, which came out in recent years. It has some darker jokes but I love it and it’s super fun to watch for me

I loved him in HIMYM and a few other things but I've since found out he's actually really big and influential behind the films I like. Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get him to the Greek really needs a third in the trilogy. Get him to the Greek might be in my top 10 all time. Also the 2011 Muppets being so good seems to be a lot to him and the 2nd not being so good was down to him not being involved
Jason just reminds me of my cousin Nick so much. Kinda makes me happy every time I see him, it’s like seeing my cousin. He’s not dead or anything, he just lives in New York and works in finance now… so… I prefer to think of him as Jason Segel.

Marshall is one of my favorite TV characters and his relationship with Lily inspired me to leave an awful relationship back in the day. It touched me to hear him talk so lovingly about the character.

I got to know him in How i met your mother and for me he is always gonna be Marshall, who i think i resemble. I even have a permanent injury to my ring finger from trying to imitate the slaps he was having at Barney and accidentally hit a chair.
One of my favourite actors and I've been watching most of his movies since How i met your mother onwards like doing the same with Jennifer Aniston after Friends or with Christina Applegate after Married with children and so on. But they always stay with me with their original characters they played, namely the first ones i watched of them that made an impact on me.

wow. he has been in SO MUCH stuff. from apatow cult classics (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up, I love you, Man, etc.) sitcoms, dramatic stuff, romcoms with emily blunt and cameron diaz, even G+ rated stuff like Despicable Me and THE MUPPETS?!?!?! the catalogue is impressive. everyone just wants to work with this guy.
I loved him in SLC Punk and Freaks and Geeks. I wish F&G didn't get cancelled. I felt so seen during that show, being considered a "freak" in the 1990s as a goth teen.
Everyone felt so seen with that show, thats what made it great. It was the first and one of the only nearly true to reality show about the high school experience, incorporate every different clique type but also finding a way to show their perspective so delicately. It was way ahead of its time

I really love him in HIMYM. The character he played, Marshall Eriksen, made me believe in love. For me, Marshall Eriksen is by far one of most loving and realist character in a TV series.

The show Shrinking, cast and writing, is so on point and fantastic, I almost want to pay for Apple TV. Then I remember that there are so many out there that fall on the Apple TV sword for me, I breathe a sigh of relief that I can still get these great shows without a money loss. I mean that honestly, bless you, they've come out with some great stuff. I cannot afford it. Segel is a national treasure.
