I've probably been that guy. Sometimes the spirits move you more than they do those around you.
The dude is actually a really cool guy and is a friend of Tyler's. I've seen him at a few shows... he was just caught up in the moment having a great time.
TC is better than anything I've heard on the radio in decades. Since some songs were either absent or overcooked on Purgatory, he needs a manager who'll get a studio quality live album produced for the masses. I swear to God if I had the money and know-how I'd produce it myself. And now, before Nashville execs work him over, butchering his music and the sound he's honed, and his spirit. Thanks Joey.
Could not agree more... Purgatory sounds somewhat thin compared to live performances (even solo ones)... which is odd considering Sturgill's involvement.
Hi Joey, could you please repost the TC show in Basement East from around this time....think the show starts with prerecorded joke before Bus Route. Would be most grateful. Reckon they shows from around this time are his best
Love me some TC but had to turn it off - I can't get past that dude in the front clapping and screaming through the entire show. Dial it back a little, guy - we get it, you know ALL of the songs.
I wish they played this style that wasn’t overproduced on the radio... I was so happy to hear Tyler then realized it was the luke Bryan style sounds and it just made me sad people think that’s what he sounds like.
10/14/2017.. My son came into the world. I gotta take him to a Tyler Childers show most definitely 💯🎉
Tyler has the best voice of our time.❤❤❤❤

What I wouldn’t give to have been at this show. Such a great venue for live music; small and very personal.
Hold on to the lovely through the bitter of our time.
