I’m so glad you guys are loving this tutorial! You can check out the full 10 brush Mutli Line set here: jesslynn.art/products/multiline-procreate-brush-set And use the code RUclips10 to get 10% off your entire order 😉
Hi! Sometimes in the very beginning when I first set my pencil down, it’ll scatter the three dots, then smooth out into the lines. Is there a way to fix the initial scatter? It looks amazing afterwards!
I love these brush tutorials, because they always go at the right pace. I see tutorials that take minutes to explain one single little feature and take forever to move their pencil across the screen, but I also see tutorials that go way to fast, making a full-body sketch before I've even got my stylus in my hand. This video went at the perfect pace :)
That's so great to hear! I was worried it might be a bit too quick for someone that hasn't made a brush before, but I also know how painful slow tutorials can be when you already know the basics. Glad I seem to have got the right balance! 😊
i kept seeing this triple line brush on insta and finally decided to search on youtube to know how. Thanks so much for the tutorials, its easy to follow and works!!
This was really helpful, but I’m having a problem with the one I made and the one from your shop. I keep getting a weird start to my line, ie: either 3 out of place dots interfere with my line and when I apply pressure with my pencil the shape starts to rotate - anyone else have this issue?
@@JessLynnCreates I just finished making the brushes! I actually made a set of 10 with your tutorial help! 😇 I have learned so much from your tutorials. I’ve learned how to shade using the noise brush, how to make brushes, got motivated, etc. Thank you so much! 😊
You're so welcome! That's amazing to hear 🥰 if you're on TikTok you can also follow me there as I post a lot more content and have a lot more videos and tutorials there!
Thank You for sharing skills ! Unfortunately Copy/Paste doesn’t work for me. i’m confused… i try different things, no one work. Do you have any tips about that ? Thank you very much in advanced😊
Oh no! You can maybe try using a smaller canvas. If that doesn’t work you can also try exporting your canvas as an image and then instead of using ‘Paste’ under Shape Source you can use ‘Import’ and select the image you saved. Hope that makes sense!
Thank you for this easy to follow tutorial! Is there a trick to getting the lines to start out and end smooth? I have a hard time not getting bent lines. I hope this makes sense!
Thank you! I'm glad it was helpful 🥰 It does definitely take some practice to get the lines smooth - try creating wider arcs and slower, smoother movements. I'll try make a video demonstrating this soon!
I followed along but mine is not clear in between the lines, it’s a faded color of the lines and it’s square at the end of the lines. Any idea what I may be doing wrong?
I see a few people have had this issue - it might be that your canvas is using CMYK instead of RGB. You can also try exporting your canvas to a jpg and then importing that instead. You can also get this brush for free or purchase ten multi line brushes from my website jesslynn.art 🥰
@@JessLynnCreates Thank you so much for responding!! ☺I just found out it does not work when using a CMYK canvas from one of the Procreate Help & Support forums. Now to figure out why I have 2 Procreate apps 🙈. Again thank you!!💗
You can make them different shades of the same colour by using different shades of gray with the circles. Otherwise you can only color them in after you have drawn them.
I absolutely love your tutorials! When I try to change the colors of each like as you did at the end of the video all the lines change to that color. How do I change the color of each line? TIA
Thank you so much! If all the lines are changing then you probably need to lower the fill threshold by holding and dragging your pencil/finger to the left. Hope that helps! ☺️
@@JessLynnCreates Thanks so much! Do you happen to have the original settings for the Monoline brush that came in procreate? I think I changed mine before I knew better lol.
You can actually reset any brush to its original settings! If you go to ‘About this brush’ in the brush studio you can tap Reset brush to get the settings it came with (just make a duplicate first to save your edited version).
Hi! You can read the step-by-step brush tutorial here: jesslynn.art/blogs/tutorials/how-to-create-a-multi-line-brush. There is also a link to download the brush for free to compare your settings. The brush can be tricky to use at first and unfortunately, you can't draw sharp bends with this brush.
Did you increase the maximum size setting? I also make sure to use a large canvas when creating my dots. There is a full blog tutorial with the specific details in my website: jesslynn.art ☺️
Hi I’m sorry you’re struggling with this. I have a full tutorial written out on my website that can hopefully help: jesslynn.shop/blogs/tutorials/how-to-create-a-multi-line-brush If it still doesn’t work, let me know what the issue is and maybe I can figure out what’s going on.
There was an update so now if it’s not with the spacing settings (the first section) it’s in a section called Stabilisation and the setting is SteamLine Amount.

Quick,,simple and to the point! Love your tutorials ❤
Great tutorial! Also set Stabalizer to 80%-100% if you want straight lines every time
Wonderful tutorial, your pacing is great, neither too slow nor too fast! Very easy to follow! THANK YOU!!!

I had the same problem. Didn’t happen if I used my finger, but happened with my pencil. Increasing Stabilisation to 20% solved it.
It’s under Streamline
!!!!my goodness you are genius!!! thank you very much!🙂👍🏻
Thank you for this! It helped me so much
Thank you! I’m a Procreate beginner and this was very easy to follow along.
I have tried to make this brush about 4 times. With no luck :( Yours is the ONE that worked! Thank you!!!
Thank you! I’m so glad 🥰
Thank you so much. This was very helpful. ☺️
Thank you so much. It's really help me.
Thank you so much! I love it!
Thank you!!
Do you have a tutorial on how you created the multi color brush? It didn’t appear to be a multiline brush.
Hi do you mean from the thumbnail? For that I used a multi line brush (like the one in the tutorial) and colored each line separately.
Thanks! You saved me a lot of time.
You’re welcome 😊
Jess Lynn more like Art With Flo
thanks for tutorial! it was really helpful, but maybe you have advice how to make the place between lines bigger?
Just make the dots smaller but space them out the same way 😊
@@shannonmckittrick5562 thank you🫶
Yay! New video to watch. Haven’t watched this tutorial yet but I’m super hyped. 😇
Yay! Hope you enjoy making the brush! 🥰

I have tried to create this style of brush several times and have been unsuccessful. The "paste" feature is not working for me. 😔

How do you make the brush so large? When I did it I had all the same setting as you but my lines are still quite small
Did you increase the maximum size setting? I also make sure to use a large canvas when creating my dots. There is a full blog tutorial with the specific details in my website: jesslynn.art ☺️
I am having this same issue and my canvas is around the same size as hers so I’m not sure what the problem is
3:45 I have tried 6 times and did it the exact same way every time so pls get back to me and maybe help me understand what has been going wrong

I tried 3 times doing it exactly as you did and it didn’t work

Hello sir i donot have procreate app please help me sir please share procreate app for ipad with me
If you have an iPad or iPhone you should be able to search for it in the app store. I think it's about $10.
Sir it would be easier for me to download if you provide me through family share
Actually my parents aren’t giving me the money to buy it
And there is no one other than you who can help please sir help🙏
But if you do family share then i can download it please
Super missleading thumbnail. Its only 1 color, not 3 uh
Quick tip for you as a "tutorial video", slow down, really simple. I learnt nothing, thanks
