Lisa's story about Bill Cosby resonated with something that Esther Povitsky complained about many years ago. She complained that she was doing promo stuff and everyone kept asking her (and also on her socials!) about Chris D'Elia's stuff. It is really interesting, because it does feed into the nonsense of our political coverage, too, that it is all about gossip and gossiping rather than trying to help the audience understand the reality of the issues facing us.. but let's face it.. corporate media is supposed to distract us from the billionaire hands picking our pockets and power elite snooping in our bedrooms and through our privacy.
