With the large variety of airliners serving the worldwide transportation market today, identification of individual aircraft manufacturers and planes can be a bit tricky.
Airliner spotting and photography remain a passion of ours today, as it does for thousands of others around the world. Some are casual, beginning observers, others are more fanatical, knowledgable and experienced.
But we all share an interest, fascination and appreciation of those magnificent flying machines that whisk us all around the world today.
Spotting Tips: What to Look for When Identifying an Airliner
Here are some details to look for when identifying an airliner, features that can help distinguish one aircraft from another:
Overall size of the airliner, e.g., narrow-body or wide-body
Jet or turboprop powered
Number of engines
Engine placement, i.e., under the wing or on the rear of the fuselage
Shape of the nose section
Cockpit windshield design, i.e., number, placement and shape of glass windows
Landing gear arrangement, number of wheels, and fuselage height above runway
Number of entry doors along the fuselage
Number and location of emergency exit doors
Tailfin design
Shape of APU exhaust
Size of the wingbox
Number and placement of passenger windows fore and aft of the wings
Winglets, and their shape and design

I even got busted by my teacher for checking Flightradar24 even in between some serious lectures
It creates headache when we can't able to check the flight due to some network issues or other...
I thought I was the only one !!!

I think A350 is the best plane currently in production because of its high tech and efficiency.
I have flown a lot of times on the A320 but I love the wide body type planes like the Boeing 777

My interest in aviation has exponentially risen the past couple years. As of now, the 777-300ER is my favorite because this is the aircraft I'm about to venture on for my first international flight! Also I got to recently go up to my local international airport ATC tower and watch

Fortunate enough to fly on all of them specially the Queen of the Skies but sadly it's being phased out now....

For now, my favorite narrow body aircraft is a320neo (it'll shift to 737max soon)
And wide body 787 (maybe 777X when it comes out)

I love the flying machine ❤ irrespective of Boeing or Airbus.
My favourite aircraft is A330. It looks really beautiful. And the landings are extra smooth with the tilted landing gear. I think it's better than any first generation B777

My favorite is the Airbus A330-700 Beluga XL....!!! Perhaps the cutest aircraft in the sky, that whale freighter is just the right combination of Airbus' moto of "NOT BUILDING MERE FLYING METALS" and adding some beauty along with efficiency.... PS- the Boeing Dream)lifter isn't even close in the competition here.
Once I saw a FedEx aircraft in Bangalore which has one of its engine in tail. It maybe MD 11.

Captain ji : On an A320, I alway feel a bit of Vibration for a few seconds immediately after Take off.
Is it because the landing Gear is being tucked-in or is there Strain on Engines which is causing the Vibration.
Also during Approach & before landing, we hear a sound in the cabin sounding like ' Turuk-Turuk: Is that the indication where Aircraft has intercepted the localiser or outer marker or the Glide Slope ?
What sound is it & why do we hear it in the cabin ?
The second question: that sound is the sound of Autopilot disconnect, from where the pilots take manual command for a manual landing.
I dont know the answer to the first.
