for those that cannot afford an expensive quilting board - I made a 2x4 quilting pressing board for less than $30 - get a 3/4 inch 2x4 piece of plywood ($14 at Lowe's/Home Depot) - staple a couple of layers of quilt batting and fabric to it - I used a piece of upholstery fabric I found in the clearance bin and I have an amazing amount of space for ironing and a place to put a cutting mat if needed. I have been using it for about 5 years - it is holding up perfectly.

@@MACoutureCrafting it is fun to see the new things - I started quilting seriously in the early 2000s - I have so much of this stuff and good to see it is still being made. I recognize some of the companies. I do not go to shows anymore because they charge so much just to get in and shop - add parking fees that are topping $20, it is just too much.

You have done it again!! I am so thankful my boss likes me and is giving me a raise, I'm about to go broke!
    This Is Your Fault, Ma'am!!
    The ironing board, Must Have!
Sister Rolls. OMG, such a Great Idea! Need some of those...
That roll up Design Wall...What?! Need it!
That Zebra and Stag were Everything! Applique is not really my jam, but I still love it.
Martelli is a whole different vibe.
That Magnafinger thing, I've seen that and it is so awesome, also on the list.
Those pattern weights are very cute.
The marbling thing is neat, not sure I'd actually do it lol.
All of the sewing machines and longarm machines. Seriously out of my league, but we can always dream.
That Superior Thread was very vibrant and pretty. Have to put me on the list.
Wizardry Stitchery and Crafts, Oh My! I really need to put them on my must have list. I have a list of Annie Bags I NEED to do, these people have the zippers and pulls that make my heart sing.
Connecting Threads. That Christmas that isn't in your face Christmas, I'm all about it.
    That Leading Edge Quilt...sigh, Yes.
The thread sets are a Steal!
    The Adeline quilt, so pretty.
    Equinox Quilt, Vibrant!
Sewlite, that is a GAME CHANGER! I need that for my knitting and crochet, not just sewing. On the list!!
The flip and fold mat from Cutterpillar. I really need that.
OMG that opaque spinning mat. 20 bucks to replace the spinning middle?! On the List!!
Those bell Bracelets. I don't wear many bracelets, but I WANT IT!!
The hat!! OMG, I need to go get that industrial machine, yesterday! So many thing I need to make.
That Quilters Select Design program. I don't design and I want it. That is Awesome!

My husband made me one by screwing a pcs. Of plywood on top of my ironing board
Then you just have to some batting on it and cover it with piece of cotton and there you have it.
Good to go. Cost only for the plywood, you most likely have the ironing board already.😊

    • @MACoutureCrafting

I'm so happy that you enjoyed my video. I exaggerated a bit and I'm a bit sarcastic by nature however, I don't want to scare anyone away from Innova if they can swing one. I know their most expensive machine starts at around 45,000 and eventually, when I get my machine I'm going to do a comparison of the top three brands I considered and why to give some more clarity to the prices.

Great videos of the shows…but please show either the name of the vendor or add it to the videos. Sometimes over the din of the show floor it is a bit hard to hear their names. It helps those of us who can’t get to the shows and assists us supporting their businesses.
