I think this is one of the best videos I've seen yet! Please, more like this. ❤❤❤
I completely agree!! Mac showed me so many cool things gs I would have never known about!
Will Do. If there are more shows you would like me to attend let me know.
Really, Thins brings me great joy. I feel like I'm adding value to the community.
for those that cannot afford an expensive quilting board - I made a 2x4 quilting pressing board for less than $30 - get a 3/4 inch 2x4 piece of plywood ($14 at Lowe's/Home Depot) - staple a couple of layers of quilt batting and fabric to it - I used a piece of upholstery fabric I found in the clearance bin and I have an amazing amount of space for ironing and a place to put a cutting mat if needed. I have been using it for about 5 years - it is holding up perfectly.
This sounds lovely. Thank you for sharing
@@MACoutureCrafting it is fun to see the new things - I started quilting seriously in the early 2000s - I have so much of this stuff and good to see it is still being made. I recognize some of the companies. I do not go to shows anymore because they charge so much just to get in and shop - add parking fees that are topping $20, it is just too much.
@jimbo0715 I hope you subscribed I have so much more coming

You should approach some of these vendors and let them know you have a popular youtube channel and would review any product they care to send you. I think it’s fine to have a minute blurb if you have a sponsor as well. I may never make a quilt (such a lie) but I’m enjoying watching this video and your knowledgeable comments
Thank you so much for watching. Welcome to this lovely world of quilting.
Thanks for your quick review of the vendor items learned a lot
You are so welcome! I'm happy to share
Thank You for Sharing your visit at the Houston Quilt show. I miss getting to go every year sense I’ve moved to SC
I wound like to know how I can get the LED light
I'm going to check into that because you are the second one who asked and I purchased and love mine.

I don't know if I will ever be able to attend a festival or show because of physical disabilities so this was a beautiful detailed tour and demonstration of all the cool items. And another great thing is you gave us who couldn't be there information about searching for some of these awesome products. Thank you so much for ❤sharing your adventures and the products. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for such a kind comment. I do these shows for people who can't be there. Be sure to check out the two other videos too.
I have completed the Whims cross for my pastor. He absolutely loved it
I love that you did that for him. I bet it's lovely.
I love Wizardry Stitchery! I use Tex 45 on my HD9. I didn’t realize they were at Festival! I just ordered Candy Cane thread and a bunch of zipper pulls that are winging their way to me atm😊

Me too. I'm getting it. I wasn't sure if my subscribers were going to like it but I hoped it would help someone.
I made my design wall by getting a good picnic table cloth with a good backing and tack it up a wall

Love the design shades, love it! I would love one large enough for sliding patio doors 😮😊
Genius.
I have so many comments... that I am just going to say.. this was great.. I need those lights for all my machines. I love Wizadry Stitchery... Next year I will have to plan to stay for the festival. I love that software. Oh and I heard you... when you get your store, I am coming out to play on those new martelli tables. :-). Enjoy the show. I am doing my Market Haul tonight. :-)
Oooh we. Go Girl. Wizardry Stitchery is serious. I love their sewing string so much. I'm pooped. I'm going to wrap up with 1 more video.
Great video thank you
I'm happy to share.
My husband made me one by screwing a pcs. Of plywood on top of my ironing board
Then you just have to some batting on it and cover it with piece of cotton and there you have it.
Good to go. Cost only for the plywood, you most likely have the ironing board already.😊
That is an amazing way to get one too.
Wish I knew how to order one of theirs sewlite lights with battery pack. Can’t find them online. Do you know Mac?
Let me look because I bought mine and I love them.
I am seriously thinking about a longarm purchase. Thanks for the hookup.
Any time! those are the two companies I'd look into I think I'd throw in the Grace company too.
excellent video
Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it.
I live in Paducah. I heard you mention it, so I thought I would tell you.
That's awesome I love that show so much. Thanks for popping in.
Am I the only one who wants to tag along with you next time?
I hope not. I do these for all the quilt shows I attend. Next year I'll be opening a community and in that community I'll be telling people in advance where I'll be so I can do meetups.
Enjoyed your video… please check into the price of Innova machines… don’t think your comment that they’re $100,000 is accurate…. They are more expensive than Handi Quilters but not that much
I'm so happy that you enjoyed my video. I exaggerated a bit and I'm a bit sarcastic by nature however, I don't want to scare anyone away from Innova if they can swing one. I know their most expensive machine starts at around 45,000 and eventually, when I get my machine I'm going to do a comparison of the top three brands I considered and why to give some more clarity to the prices.
Hey girl, ur great. Tonight was the first time Ive seen you. You could be a sister from another mother. You ask the same kind of questions I do. In detail. Do you have a list of the booths you went to with their contact info. I'd like to purchase some merchandize. 🦓
Oh wow. Thank you so much for watching. I'm organized but not that organized. I tried to get all the booth names in the shot so people could google them.
Kai scissors are good but I recently got pairs of guggenheim scissors, and they are amazing!
Oh you are playing with the big kids. I think I might have a pair of those somewhere but Kai are my Jam.
What is the website for the sew light for sewing machine, I couldn’t find it online. Thank you.
lumitask.com/
What was the name of the quilting software at the end of your video? Thanks!
Its Quilt N Design by Quilter's Select.
What was the name of the quilting software?
I believe it's Quilter's Select Design and Quilt. Thanks for watching until the end.
Where can you but the wearable light?
I put a link in the description bar. I had a hard time finding it too.
Great videos of the shows…but please show either the name of the vendor or add it to the videos. Sometimes over the din of the show floor it is a bit hard to hear their names. It helps those of us who can’t get to the shows and assists us supporting their businesses.
Thanks for watching
Oh, I should not be watching this, my poor bank account. 🤣🤣
go crazy friend
PS. You are getting very svelte!!!!
Hee Hee I'm still trying. You just made me grin.
I adore you but i wouldn't call those scissors affordable.
Thank you. Affordable is such a subjective term, but I have had mine & use them so often & have a never had them sharpend so I guess I should have said they are woth the money to ME. I also branded myself as Couture because I'm known to stay on what some might say is the higher end of things.
Your videos are awesome! I am taking notes for when I get there on Saturday.
I wanted to be sure to put this out early so people could make lists. I'm happy to help.
