WoW! 🤩 Loved the show. Thanks for taking us through it. One quilt more beautiful than the other. What a job for the judges to choose the first three places! 😅
It was great to see The Last Homely House's (Agnes's) quilt! I've watched several people's videos of the festival, and yours was the first I saw to have it included.
Thank you Rachel so much for taking the time to walk through and allow us to virtually tag along. I loved watching … and your choice of music was pleasant too
Have watched a few videos of quilt show really enjoyed your one. My friend and I are flying over to spend a weekend at next year's show. We are also scrapbookers and for years we all flew over from Ireland to spend the day at NEC for papercrafting and a day was enough but for this show we've decided we need to stay over. ❤
Dear Rachel, thank you so much for this lovely tour of quilting wonderland! Every design and every handwork has so much creativity. It's overwhelmingly beautiful 😍. Loved every moment of it. Thank you once again. 🎉😊
Love your videos! I’m in Brisbane, Australia enjoying looking around the show with you. It was amazing to then see my sister and her family on screen, they own Greenhill Patchwork, one of the stalls you visited! Hope you enjoyed the day!
I’ve been lucky enough to come to this show since about 2018 and have my tickets for this year as well already! Your video is fabulous and reminded me of the wonderful days spent with my two very good quilty friends! An amazing collection of loveliness!!
Wow. Some of those competition quilts are so intricate and with such tiny pieces. I am in awe. Thank you for sharing. I live in Texas so this is so wonderful to see.
Fantastic tour, thank you so much. You were so good with your filming, i didn't get dizzy and you showed such a lot at a good pace. When you got to Kate's quilt (last homely house) i actually recognised it immediately, i couldn't believe it! Thank you so much, I am going to watch again and again just to drink it all in ❤
You're welcome, thank you for coming around with me. I was so surprised when I saw Agnes quilt and it was just amazing to see up close, and reassuring that EPP stitches are visible even for the beat sewists x
How fun, I live in Wyoming, USA it would be so much fun to come over for this. I love seeing the mix of ages young and older people. All the fabric and ideas and project potential, my budget is busted just walking around with you. However, very nice job on doing the video.
This was wonderful! Thank you so much! I attended the exhibit years ago. Don't know if I will be able to ever get back. I live in Athens, Greece. This was the next best thing to being there. Again thank you!
Thank you for joining me! I'm glad you got to go to the show once before and hoping you will make it back one day, or a show similar. Are there quilting shops in Greece?
@stitchwithrachel Yes, there are some craft shops with quilting supplies available. We have quite a few fabric shops with quilting cottons, but it is not always easy to coordinate fabrics for a quilt. And that brings us to 2 or 3 online shops that have more coordinating fabrics. Once again, thank you!
Thank you - I'm there on Saturday and so looking forward to it. Its the first time I've been since 2019, there seemed to be much more space between the stalls, than there used to be but I did see some of my favourites there like Dandelion Designs - thank you again for a lovely video, I hope you had a brilliant day too x
There is alot of room between the aisle which is good and dandelion designs has such a big stall this year! All the stuff on there was amazing and I'll be purchasing from there tomorrow. Thank you for watching and enjoy the show on Saturday xx
Wow thanks so much that was a real treat to watch. I used to do a lot of quilting years ago lost motivation along the way but this has really helped to get my motivation back. Thank you.
Thank You, for filming the show! I am from Long Island, New York USA. OMG such phenomenal vendors, & so many too!! The quilts were also magnificent! I’m drooling over all the cool things I would have bought!! It was wonderful!!👏👏👏👏👏
I have been to many of the larger shows, & they are great! However, I have never been lucky enough to go to one in UK, Europe, or Japan. Too old to consider it now!!! But, it was fun watching the video, & I saved so much money, not being able to shop!!!😉😂😂
Love this video! I am particularly impressed that you actually showed the vendors in detail. I have watched four of these now and only Craft House Magic did as good a job!
Thank you for bringing us along to the festival! Your video is wonderful and certainly a feast for the eyes! I will rewatch it many times for sure. Btw, is your dress made of Liberty fabric? It’s very pretty material.
You are very welcome, I'm sure that every time you watch it you will see something different because thats what it was like in person! My dress is a just a cheap dress to be honest but I was drawn to the print for the liberty look of it but thank you!
This was so enjoyable. Thank you for filming it. I'm in Canada and have had limited exposure to quilt shows. They seem the same but slightly different depending on where you are in the world.
Oh my goodness Rachel! thanks for taking us along. Being form Hawaii, I adore that whale in the first 2 minutes! But everything from the cross stitch, garden embroidery, floss makes me want to get on with needlepoint and sewing. Love what you do, and btw your voice is very soothing and lovely. Mahalo! 🏖
So glad you enjoyed coming around with me! I was itching to get stitching as soon as I got home aswell. Did you see the mermaid competition quilt towards the end of the video too, I really liked that one aswell. Thank you for a lovely comment xx
Fun to see the different things than what we typically see here in the US! I l would love to shop the liberty scrap booth!!! Thx for the tour. Texas USA
Thank you Rachel. I haven’t been to this show for a few years now so it was great to see from your perspective. Always a big wow to see the talent that is out there.
Great quilt show tour, especially the vendor booths! I’ve looked at Yazzi bags but ended up happily sewing my own with patterns ByAnnie. She’s developed nearly 100 patterns and you can customize several of her bags for all your sewing, quilting, embroidery gear.
Thank you so much for the video, I really enjoyed it. I've not been able to make it to the show. Would love to see the quilts for the group entries if you get a chance during your visit today.
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🙄 that moment when you realise why the quilt shop you specifically planned a short break away to visit was closed!! As a ‘newbie’ to quilting I wasn’t aware of this and guess we should have gone south not north east!! Thanks for going and sharing 👏👏👍
Oh Rachel! I knew I shouldn't have watched! I spotted Eli the elephant on the Lilly Rose Dolls stand ❤ I *had* to go over to the website to have a closer look and somehow?? I have no idea how, I have bought the kit to make him 😮🤷🏻🤔🤣🤣
Strangely enough.. same thing happened to me, and I brought home Hannah the hedgehog! The shop owner was such a lovely lady and had almost sold out of kits by the second day so they were a big hit x
😂 we don't discuss finances.. husbands might be watching! But you are not alone at all, and it's so easily done, my card declined at one point because I ran out of money, even that did not stop me 😂
WoW! 🤩 Loved the show. Thanks for taking us through it. One quilt more beautiful than the other. What a job for the judges to choose the first three places! 😅
This is the 3rd video where I got to virtually go to this fabulous show! Thank you thank you thank you. I am in US on the west coast.
Addendum - this is the best to listen to and peak at whilst quilting. ❤
It was great to see The Last Homely House's (Agnes's) quilt! I've watched several people's videos of the festival, and yours was the first I saw to have it included.
I just HAD to include the footage, it was amazing to see it in real life.
Thank you Rachel so much for taking the time to walk through and allow us to virtually tag along. I loved watching … and your choice of music was pleasant too

Yeah train travel is very expensive these days, I'm very lucky to be local to the nec. Thanks for watching x
Great, thanks for sharing.
Did anyone else shout "That's Agnes's Quilt!" At 25.50? Or "there's Emma's Hexiform" or simply "Wow, thats amazing"
Glad you enjoyed it! There was a chorus of "ooooh... wooooow and awwww" as you walked around, it was amazing
There are sooo very many beautiful works of art featured- but it was fun to see Kate's (Agnes) quilt. Thank you for your excellent footage.
Fantastic tour, thank you so much. You were so good with your filming, i didn't get dizzy and you showed such a lot at a good pace.
