I have to tell you I'm a seasoned angler and match fisherman who is guilty of having to much gear to mention that cost a fortune. But the reason I'm writing is I absolutely love your vids !!!! . I have watched everyone and I'm glued to the end the way you explain and use tackle what most people could is fantastic. I firmly believe that anyone wanting to learn should watch and subscribe to you . I myself learnt off people like yourself and it was invaluable to me . So please keep these vids coming and know they are appreciated many thanks Andy watts

Andrew w .Hi Andrew thank you for your kind comment. I started making these videos because I couldn't find good solid info for beginners and the only videos gave bad information. Now I have a huge quantity of tackle at my disposal but finding using simple basic tackle very refreshing and a lot less to carry! Please keep watching as loads more videos planned covering a wide variety of fishing.

Hi Bill I am a recent returnee to the banks after any years inactivity with the main reason being the need for a proper hobby, a way of reducing stress and relaxing etc. I recently found your page and as others have said enjoy your videos and in particular your philosophy regarding what you catch and being next to nature etc which is good for all of us. I am only fishing on the Thames at the moment and like you have had to put up with the local rowing club, canoes, paddle boards, dogs eating my bread, a swan attacking another swan and driving it into my swim right in front of me etc but that's life. There seem to be even more boats in town this year which I guess is a result of covid meaning a long walk is required to find a spot to fish. Hope you are keeping well and best wishes.

I also fish the Thames I find that If you walk a bit further you can find somewhere quieter - even in London

Nice Bill nice little session there in tricky conditions but a beautiful day and its nice to be out at the bankside. I'm enjoying my fishing in general but i have to say i'm really looking forward to the summer with the long days of sunlight and the fish feeding a lot more. Nice Roach there and nice that you caught a Dace, a fish you only get in rivers. Tight lines and take care hope to see more videos from you.

Have you tried using a rolling pin to flatten the slices of bread, first cut the crust off, and then keep the slices in a bag

Hi Bill great vid. Only thing i would say is, in your vid you say use gravel, well, i say no, as you can get same effect with hemp and its an added attractant. Bread and hemp go together very well. Well done mate from a sub
