I thought that was Volvo that was priding itself on the illusion of safety, Mercedes Benz prides itself on the illusion of luxury and proves that to you with its barren standard equipment lists with a ton of optional extra$
@@waffle-ir2fn recently? The almost everyone is scoring marginal or poor on the new updated front-overlap crashes. Guess who got a high rating though…wasn’t Mercedes!
I wish they deployed the side curtain airbags as well at frontal impacts as many other cars do. Right at the beginning, the rebound of the dummy when the car hit the front left hand side did not look fun at all. Why not deploy the curtains too? It s not like anyone s ever fixing a car after an impact like that and Mazda are trying to keep the repair costs down...total writeoff. Might as well go all in.
Excess force ( like from a side curtain airbag) can actually break a neck in some situations due to opposing forces. They actually put a lot of testing into this.
because the puppet was crossing behind a parked car, i guess the radar couldn't detect it before it was too late but it did reduce the speed to 16km to lessen the impact i guess
Çarpışma önleyici sistemi iyi çalışıyor, Fakat aracın Yan kısımları saglamlastirilmis çelik ile guclendirilmeli , perde hava yastıkları hiç bir işe yaramaz o kadar dayanıksız gövdeye.
I really like the CX-5 as alternative to the German makes. Great all round SUV
Seriously impressive Mazda, especially the autonomous braking!
It's funny that Mercedes-Benz prides itself on having the safest cars, yet a Mazda performed better in the AEB tests.
It's funny how both the C Cabriolet and CX 5 got five stars.

We all know the true masters, and creators, of safety- is Volvo.

Love my Mazda CX-5
Mazda very well in security
AEB test Mazda - 45 kmph, BMW - 35 kmph. Why???
XtaticVideo bias
45 is probably where it failed, 40 is the best it could do?
Wait... Does the mazda cx-5 2017 have Pedestrian detection????????? I didn't know that
yes, all trims starting from 2017
Mazda 👍👍👍👍

Wait why does the aeb pedestrian test at 60k avoid it but it doesn't at 45?

Poor little boy....
That kid falling apart...
Why didn't the side airbags work in the frontal test?
Cause it is suppose to work on a side impact.
נדמה לי או שבהתנגשות החזיתית עפו משענות הראש של הילדים, מאחורה, ושום דבר לא מגן עליהם כהגוף חוזר אחורה אחרי ההטחה קדימה?
Windshield didn't even break
The crash system is horrible doesn’t stop quick enough by the time it does you
Be crashes

The Mazda CX 5 is too wrinkled to deserve 5 stars.
