This is my front runner for #1 of 2021 Your videos are the best in the custom cafe racer genre Always appreciate your work and I believe you do a great service to the customs these craftsmen have built.
Since finding your channel, I have seen many amazing machines presented here. The CX series bikes never really captured my attention until you began showcasing them. Yours is an excellent example! This build is absolutely beautiful. The modifications are elegant, not overstated, and fit perfecy. I much preffer the angular style tank over the more rounded shapes. The exhaust note is symphonic and pleasing. What an all around amazing machine...
The difficult by its difficulty is an unprecedented pleasure to achieve it. In truth Honda did well to discontinue that latest model of motorcycle is certainly boring and visually ugly. But the engine is something else: a beast locked in a complicated cage. It took someone's talent to do something like that. Seeing the possibility is something we can all do, but achieving it requires talent and passion. The tank simply achieves a visual success that forces the gaze to be directed towards it. When one finds out that it is only due to cutting the lower part of it, myself does not cease to be surprised. The mechanism created to hold the monoshock gives it a powerful appearance, not to mention the rear wheel covers that create a balance between the modern monoshock and the retro of the aforementioned covers. This bike in my honest opinion is one of the best looking custom CX's I have ever seen, here in Australia these bikes can still be purchased in standard form for a reasonable price, customized versions are a rare sight here as the bikes have a cult following with many owners keeping them original.

A well thought out project with a very beautiful color scheme and design. The seat and tank are nice and “fit” the CX very well. This is a great video presentation of yet another CX. Lovely well thought out bike. I love the look of the slightly modified original tank. I initially thought it was a custom built one off tank. It definitely looks better with the rear cowl fitted but I'm not a fan of the rear wheel. Personally I think a nice set of wire wheels would be the icing on the cake of an otherwise fantastic bike. Great video too Vitor. It makes me wish my car restoration project was finished so I could clear some space in my garage for a CX project. Kind regards Paul 🇬🇧
A great example showing that customizing has always some level of engineering, in this case, a tough one :). I just love the general balance, but specially the fuel tank "cubic" lines. Stands great! The line between Café Racer and "Racing Bobber" becomes thinner every year... :) and that makes me happy :).
Once again, another beautiful bike. Nice upgraded suspension & breaks no doubt, it's odd that hardly anyone bothers to give the engines in these an upgrade even though they were never a sporty bike. I'm not sure about the wheels, imhho they should be one or the other, the seat hanger is a well thought out idea & just lifting the tank changes the whole look, it's the simple things that make all the difference while being the hardest things to pull off. Now all that needs to be done is convert it to "Right hand drive".

I offer a humble argument. I am fairly new to the cafe racer building world, just finishing my second. I was left to believe that one of the core concepts of a cafe racer was to loose visual obstructions and create more open spaces in the bike. I understand that some amount of give is needed in bike definitions but this strikes me much more as a street fighter.

Yes, I recognize I took a while to present this Cx on the Channel. But that is also related to the lack of Video content about it. We miss out on a lot of the good & quality stuff here in Malaysia - Yet we actuallypay more than the highest/premium spec variant but get the lowest spec This country is moving backwards in time because of the Majority population :'(
In Britain, we never called the CX500 the Euro Spot we called it the "plastic pig." Thousands of dispatch riders couldn't be wrong though. They wanted performance and reliability with fuel efficiency. I have always thought the CX 500 engine a very beautiful design. Its push rods gave it wonderful proportions. It's all a matter of taste but I would have just gone for spoked wheels as there is just something about them that I love. The rest of the bike especially the change to the tank are brilliant.

The last cx was actually the cx650 turbo; the last non-turbo cx was the cx650ed, known as the 650 Eurosport, which was sold up until about ‘85 or ‘86.
