Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend.
@erwinbuell2983 I am really sorry my friend, but unfortunately this is one of those secrets that i can't reveal. It took me a lot of time and effort to find this robotic voice. I hope you understand me. But i can give you a suggestion. Try the murf.ai website. It has amazing voices. :) Cheers.
@ML-vk8ev Well, there are some bikes on that "brutally uncomfortable" category, like Ducati Sport Classic GT. But I can assure you that this CX, is not one of those examples. I already talked about this subject in a video. Try this link: ruclips.net/video/cND1IVYemXU/видео.html Cheers.
One of my all-time favorite bikes was my 93 gsxr 750. I bought it in my 40s and could only handle about 1/2 hr of riding. For some reason, I was having flashbacks when I looked at the CX.
@pascalcardoso Hi. Yes, this voice has an AI upgrade to make it more realistic, and give more emotion to the sentences. But what didn't you like about this voice?
@pascalcardoso I recognize that I increased the treble a little to make the voice clearer. But other than that, I always found this upgraded voice very similar to the original, although with a more realistic intonation. But thanks for the feedback. :) Cheers.
@_sneer_ Yes, i understand your perspective. And the overwhelming majority of people also think the same way. But we have to consider that there are some people who are so rich, that they can afford to pay any price just to have something exclusive. This is a very restricted market, but it exists. Cheers.
@@RACER_TV existence of the market does not mean that it is not stupid. This is utterly stupid. People with money and no brain whatsoever. It is a CX 500. Bike so bad, boring, cheap and unliked that poor people started chopping it to at least make a turd in shiny wrapping, out of a plain turd, when they couldn’t afford anything better. You can buy a Brough Superior or a good Vincent for that kind of money. Not to mention a Ducati 999R, 916 and a few of other, significant from the point of view of motorcycling history, bikes. Or even a good base, or a few of them, for a proper cafe racer and make it astonishing. CX 500 for that kind of money is a total lack of taste. Seemingly no amount of money can buy brain, IQ and taste. If anyone buys a CX 500 for €55000 they are a tasteless idiot, nothing more. And the scammer that builds and sells them for that amount is just a parasite on the community. TBH, you should not promote that kind of expensive abomination and bad taste on your channel, which is one of more significant and influential ones in cafe racer community BTW. There are many more respectable builds out there, not just expensive, but it is your channel and you decide what you want on it. It is just a bit disappointing that it may turn into an idiot rich boy toy store and advertisement.
@@RACER_TV Did you remove my earlier reply? I was saying that the CX 500 was always considered a dud. Slow, ugly, and undesirable. The reason people started making cafe racers out of them was because they were cheap, easy to convert, and it would improve the bike. A €55000 CX 500 market is not wise from a financial, engineering, or basically any point of view. It is just for people with much more money than brains. I am slightly disappointed that such an influential and popular cafe racer channel promotes rich boy toys instead of engineering and stylistic innovation and ingenuity.
@_sneer_ Hello. I never remove comments from my videos. But I don't remember reading your following comment. In relation to what you say about the CX 500, I recognize that it is a relatively stuck engine. For that reason, I chose the CX650 for my cafe racer project. And I can guarantee you that the 650 has another soul. The engine's roar is beautiful, reaching 207 km/h. Although you give more importance to the bike's performance for any cafe racer project, there are many people who think differently. And that's a large part of this channel's audience. The purist vision about what a real Cafe Racer has to be(or was), is not accepted by everyone. I already talked about this matter in other videos. Personaly, I think nowadays the original purpose of old/new motorcycles customized like the original Cafe Racers, does not make sense anymore. If we follow the pure perspective of those Cafe Racers, we would end with something similar to a modern Yamaha R1. And this means that this rebirth of the "cafe racer" scene, must have a different approach. :) But thank you for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
@@RACER_TV Well, to me, it is not simply a matter of opinion. I would think that operating something else under a name that means something else is misleading. Maybe not intentionally, but still misleading. Hence my ridicule of a €55,000 CX 500 as a “cafe racer.” It should have no place at all. It is just a guy buying a cheap, undesirable bike and selling it for probably 55 times the original purchase price after making just a couple of mostly cosmetic changes. This is a scam, and even if some people don’t see it as a scam, it does not stop it from becoming one. It is quite similar to new motorcycle prices in Europe and probably the US as well. An upper-midrange Triumph costs a couple of thousand euros less in Japan than in the UK, where it comes from. A brand new 25th-anniversary Hayabusa costs €13,500 from an authorized dealer in Japan. In European countries, it costs more than €20,000. The same goes for cars, which are about half the European price in Japan. No CX 500 is worth €55,000. That value is artificially inflated only to extract more money from unsuspecting buyers. Then there is naming. You can’t say that a mule with a racing saddle suddenly becomes a racehorse. Similarly, a CX 500 does not become a cafe racer just by making it look like one. It is a custom bike that just pretends to be a racer. An imitation. And certainly, an imitation CX 500 should not cost €55,000. I can easily build you one for half that price, and it will perform like a modern sports bike of similar capacity, and I would still make about €10,000 on it. I know that because I built championship-winning race bikes for a living. One thing is building a bike you would like with what you have available and making the most of it, but spending €55,000 on a CX 500 is just nuts, no matter what your budget is.
@busatrx850 Lool. I hope so. Since January, i am using an AI upgrade to the old voice. The AI can change the intonation and emotion of each sentence, according to the subject of the text. Thanks for your feedback. By the way, are you a native english speaker?
@busatrx850 Thank you Sir for your reply. It's important for me to know to what extent this voice is improving. And I hope to continue improving it until it is perfect. :) Cheers
The CX 500 engine itself is an apparently stuck engine, or at least, it sounds like a stuck engine, unlike the CX 650 model. If this is what you are referring to, I must say that it is perfectly normal in this CX 500 model. But in the way the engine accelerates, and at idle speed, it sounds like a perfectly healthy engine. :) Cheers.
Lool. I understand. Maybe it would be better to start thinking about moving to Portugal. Lool. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Yes I do. There is nothing wrong with hearing an artificial voice, as long as it sounds nice. The upgrade disturbs me, especially the first and last sentence, which frame your work. But it may also be, that I am a conservative old man, who dislikes changes. What, if you kept these two sentences as there were? @@RACER_TV
@wolfgangruhl1076 If I understand correctly, you are referring to the sentence: "Thank you for watching Racer... I hope to you on the next video." Am I right? :)
@wolfgangruhl1076 Thank you friend for your feedback. You are right. In this video I tried a new approach on these 2 sentences. I thought the first sentence was fine, but in the second, I recognize that it needs to be improved. But I'll try to fix this in the next video. :) Thank you. :) Cheers.

@@RACER_TV Greetings from Malta again,,,Can you answer please one curiosity ?,Is that your actual voice on the podcast,,!!/// because it's so satisfying and luring..""" Be safe
@RACER_TV Hello again. Sorry for my late response, but I just got back from a 1 week vacation. Believe it or not, the voice you hear in my videos is not real. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. The good news is that since the beginning of this year, I have improved the artificial voice with the application of Artificial Intelligence, making it very realistic in the emotion with which it speaks every word. I'm glad you like it. Thank you. :) You too.
Cafe racers can be beautiful bikes, but why would you want to turn a CX one? Sure, they're about as reliable as any bike has ever been, but it's a bloody CX!?!? Café racers are known for their speed and handling. Sure, the way the bike is set up, I don't doubt that it threads the needle. But speed...or lack thereof!?! TBH, I'd have chosen any other bike than the CX. Turning one into a café racer is a pain in the arse, too! Significant portions of the frame is pressed sheet steel, not welded tubing, adding loads more weight. Each to his own, I guess...... BUT A BLOODY CX!!! 🙄🤦🏻♂️😉👍🏼

:) ruclips.net/video/pgbdiHM3aMg/видео.html Um abraço

Wicked stuff
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
WooW!
Ronco da cx é impressionante. Lamentávelmente nao temos ela no brasil.
E realmente uma pena. Aqui em Portugal, a CX também nunca foi comercializada. Felizmente, temos a facilidade de as importar de outros Países da Europa. A minha veio da Alemanha em 2017. :) Um abraço

I liked it so much. Thanks for showing this wonderful project and video - I found it very inspiring. What's the soundtrack of the video btw?
Thank you my friend for your support. :) the song is: Walking in the Sky - Nico Staf :) Cheers.
Excellent build!! The CX projects are becoming very expensive!!
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.

I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
Very nice and on a Dutch license
Indeed. I also found the Dutch license plate interesting. This means that he was able to legally import the motorcycle from Belgium. :) Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
I think it was originally a dutch bike and never imported to belgium. I can’t imagine being legal with that exhaust noise

You say, the bilder is from Luxemburg, but it has a Dutch license plate. Isn’t it from the Netherlands? Very nice build

Hello racer
Hello My friend.
Thank you my friend for your support. :) Cheers.
HI, I really like the style of your videos. DO you mind for telling us which voice you use?
@erwinbuell2983 I am really sorry my friend, but unfortunately this is one of those secrets that i can't reveal. It took me a lot of time and effort to find this robotic voice. I hope you understand me. But i can give you a suggestion. Try the murf.ai website. It has amazing voices. :) Cheers.
Sounds good, looks ok, my guess is it's brutally uncomfortable.
Sadly Australia will not Register a Bike unless the REAR MUDGUARD is down to the AXEL .. 👀
the voice as change .. sad. the bike is beautiful.
@pascalcardoso Hi. Yes, this voice has an AI upgrade to make it more realistic, and give more emotion to the sentences. But what didn't you like about this voice?
the tone is strange, maybe it is my mistake but I prefer the one befor. but yhat is just me. all the best.
@pascalcardoso I recognize that I increased the treble a little to make the voice clearer. But other than that, I always found this upgraded voice very similar to the original, although with a more realistic intonation. But thanks for the feedback. :) Cheers.
it doesnt have mikunis on it.....
€55000 for a CX500! Some people substitute brains with money 🤣🤣🤣
But thank you for sharing your perspective.
Great job
Too small a bike for the rider on the road, especially from the back from where it looks weird and unfinished, unfortunately….
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers
Is he sounding more human?
@busatrx850 Lool. I hope so. Since January, i am using an AI upgrade to the old voice. The AI can change the intonation and emotion of each sentence, according to the subject of the text. Thanks for your feedback. By the way, are you a native english speaker?
@@RACER_TV yes. Born in the UK and lived here for over 60 years

It's important for me to know to what extent this voice is improving.
And I hope to continue improving it until it is perfect. :) Cheers
This engine room doesnt look balanced to me other thisng so good but not the motor Side
:) Cheers.
in that state you would become tared and fetherd by the cops in germany

Lool. I understand. Maybe it would be better to start thinking about moving to Portugal. Lool. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Unfortunately, I have to revise my opinion. I prefer the less emotional voice after all...
@wolfgangruhl1076 Sorry to ask, but are you saying you prefer the old voice without the AI upgrade??
Yes I do. There is nothing wrong with hearing an artificial voice, as long as it sounds nice. The upgrade disturbs me, especially the first and last sentence, which frame your work. But it may also be, that I am a conservative old man, who dislikes changes. What, if you kept these two sentences as there were? @@RACER_TV
@wolfgangruhl1076 If I understand correctly, you are referring to the sentence:
"Thank you for watching Racer... I hope to you on the next video."
Am I right? :)
And also the first sentence - welcome to Racer TV @@RACER_TV

Simple answer: You build a CX because they sound cool, and that will make you happy even if you're going slow and straight.
Is that minimum wage /hour?!?!?!?
Lol. No. it is the minimum wage per month. :)
