I restored my 81 CX500 barn find to original condition. Seeing these magnificent customs creates much inner conflict. Still .. no regrets. I enjoy riding it very much.
Wena customs of Poland is one of those pleasant surprises and this Honda CX 500 shows us the capacity achieved by this atelier of Eastern Europe. Honda will always be Honda and the venerable CX is a motorcycle that makes our hearts beat. I can not fail to mention that although this model is really beautiful and I like it, I personally feel an attraction to the first project presented by this same channel. Especially attractive to my eyes was that empty part on the rear tire, I find it very aggressive and dynamic. but everyone has their own taste and this version is more classic for their appearance. Never could get use to a mono shock rear end because of the big gap, but this Cx500 has changed my mind, I still think about my CX and wish I still had it.

I was never a fan of the CX series of bikes, that is until I found your channel. You have shown some beautiful examples over the years, including your own. This bike has organic flow in the styling, and I agree that some of the custom features look like they could be factory. I am looking forward to more examples in the future!

I was afraid you quit making videos! I am finally working on my own project. I am not sure I am going cafe but it is completely disassembled. the frame, brakes and forks are powder coated. It has been a long time but I have arrived! Thanks for the inspiration!

It is not impossible. If Racer TV continue with the same growing rate, it will reach the 500k during the next 2 to 3 years. It seems hard, but the 300k goal was much harder.

I built one of these. It turned out pretty nice for the $1500-ish threshold & mostly Amazon parts but I was never satisfied with the 500cc engine. I eventually ended up selling it & getting my $ back so it was no loss & a great first build/first bike owned. Seeing him burnout like that REALLY surprised me though. I couldn’t get mine past 85mph 😎 the cop said “we didn’t think you where gonna stop, sweet bike.” Officer it just looks fast! 😂😭

O detalhe que você chamou a atenção, o conjunto braço oscilante/suspensão traseira, é realmente um "algo a mais" e de cara já apresenta as credenciais de um competente construtor. É engraçado como nossos gostos mudam com o tempo, pois hoje dou preferência a projetos com estilo clássico, o mais sóbrio e sem firulas possível.. talvez seja esse o motivo pelo qual eu estaria disposto a modificar um único detalhe nessa moto: a minúscula rabeta, com seu estilo um pouco "moderninho" e lanterna idem.. particularmente eu preferiria um visual mais clássico e redondo ali também. Sem duvida. Infelizmente, o Leonel tem tido bastante trabalho, e não tenho conseguido convencê-lo a começar o projecto. No entanto posso adiantar que estive 1 mês e meio à espera do depósito de gasolina que foi fabricado na Índia, e que é lindíssimo, embora tenha chegado na cor errada. Mas isso até é bom. Assim teremos que esperar pelo final para ver como realmente vai ficar bem. Lol. Um abraço.
This is a really nice video and really nice project. May be my next one. I did an XV750 a bit in this color spirit ( ic an share a picture to you @racer TV ;) ). But here is the point: i wonder if the inverted fork doesn't touch the exaust on big braking ?

Very nice machine. Only one issue I see is that the exhaust emits directly onto the back wheel. A bit of oil and dirt from revving could make that pretty dangerous. Most under engine exhausts usually emit to the side to prevent this (eg versys 650 and er6f)

Thanks for another great video Victor ! Can you tell me if you know, how they dealt with the liquid cooling ? Are they using an electric fan system, or the factory belt and fan drive ? Trying to see if they are using the original radiator, but not able to get a good look at it. Otherwise, yes, a great build similar to Sasha's for sure ! Still think there is something more to be done with the rear suspension system in my opinion, but I do like the idea of the curved rear seat support. Thank you again for all you do for our culture Victor !
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. You made an excellent question. I thought the same when i saw this bike. The radiator on this project is not the factory original. It is much smaller. Because of that, i believe he change the cooling system using one or two small electric fans. It is not an easy job. I know that on the CX500 from Sacha Lakic Design, made the same thing. :) Cheers.
@@RACER_TV I agree Victor ! Brining the exhaust under the engine in that way, definitely limits the room for a radiator in this design. Have been thinking about an inverted airflow designed radiator, and mount it under the engine, with an air dam to direct air flow to and through the radiator. Will open a new direction for design elements. Have done a few trials in Photoshop, but nothing worthy of bringing from the drawing board to the fabrication table yet ! However, would definitely bring the bottom ground clearance distance down about 2½" to 3" lower ! I'm still busy trying to steal your CX650 design here ! LoL !

Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. You made an excellent question. I thought the same when i saw this bike. The radiator on this project is not the factory original. It is much smaller. Because of that, i believe he change the cooling system using one or two small electric fans. It is not an easy job. I know that on the CX500 from Sacha Lakic Design, made the same thing. :) Cheers.

Brining the exhaust under the engine in that way, definitely limits the room for a radiator in this design.
Have been thinking about an inverted airflow designed radiator, and mount it under the engine, with an air dam to direct air flow to and through the radiator.
Will open a new direction for design elements.
Have done a few trials in Photoshop, but nothing worthy of bringing from the drawing board to the fabrication table yet !
However, would definitely bring the bottom ground clearance distance down about 2½" to 3" lower !
I'm still busy trying to steal your CX650 design here !
