I created a listing I liked and unfortunately I did copy the design and nothing was happening, I found another search term that was selling, so I changed the words on the design and changed the title to include that search term, added it to Etsy 2 days ago and got a sale this morning! So yes listen to what they are saying, if you like a design, use it but put your own spin on it! Thanks
Sounds a bit like its increasingly find your own traffic and bring it to their site, rather than their site being an active marketplace doing its job of linking you with buyers.
Who in their right mind would want to open a Shop or do any business with Etsy?? There is no Seller Return item protection....They only protect the buyer with Full Refund plus Etsy tells the buyer to keep Seller's item, no need to Return it.."This happened to me". Etsy will ignore all emails they will not Acknowledge the wrong they do..I've been trying to get Etsy to replace a new Gucci Tote bag because they gave my bag to the buyer to keep..They ignore me...Stay away or you will get burned.
Conversion is a relative thing. It is much hard to have a high conversion on items that cost over $1000 usd dollars such as a piece of jewelry than items that cost only $20 usd such as a shirt. I believe ALGO should into account the total value of sales in a day , week or month in order to make sure a seller that sells over 10k a month with few sales are not overlooked when compared to a seller with hundred of sales a month but a much smaller monthly of only 2k a month.
I agree. I only sell baby quilts that are high dollar items. Etsy makes money based on the dollar value not the number of sales so I really don’t get why it’s not based on revenue verses sales. Makes no sense to me. 🤷🏻♀️
Why is it the data on impressions etc that Everbee shows doesnt correspond to what is currently on my Etsy stats?

The problem is that sellers become confused. Out of the hundreds if not thousands of people giving advice on how to get sales on Etsy virtually all are different, so who is right and who is wrong?
Etsy does not protect sellers returned items before buyer gets full refund. Can you address that Etsy return policy?
How do you show Etsy that you're more likely to convert than others?
It's your conversion rate. Etsy will see how many people arrive to your listing and how many convert to sales. If you have a higher conversion rate it will help rank you higher. Hope that makes sense.
I'll have three or four sales within the first week or two of it being posted but then it goes completely silent it stops getting favorited and it seems like it disappears for a few months and then it'll start getting favorites again is that normal?
I am revamping my store and changing the range and style of wall art style products to start with.. When I start adding my new pod products across a range of categories, how many products should I have to go live with and then continue to add more products?

one question: if i change my keywords to a listing that I've been having for about 3 months using the right keywords, would this give me a boost and start making me show off more or is the listing too old now for that?
You won't "get a boost" by changing keywords, but you will start to show, as long as you are relevant for those keywords.
