Great start on your build. One thing, there should be another O-ring on the cylinder. You put the outer one on, there should also be a smaller one that goes inside the studs. You're going to leak coolant right into the cylinder. It will be a great bike when done; I also did an 89 last year, wish I started out with something half as good as you did.
Rich Ski Great catch! Didn’t know if anyone would notice, I was waiting on the center one on back order when I did this video so put together what I had. I’ve put the inner one in and am currently waiting on the frame from powder coat. I tried my hand at spray cans but was not impressed at how it was/would hold up.

I have a very nice totally stock 89. Waiting for a tank to arrive the OG one is brittle, good luck with yours.
