  • From May 1986, Roy Clark shows host Steve Allen some blooper outtakes from his movie "Uphill All the Way", bloopers that include Roy, Mel Tillis, Burl Ives, & Richard Paul. Glen Campbell was also in this movie, and Glen must be a really fine actor because he apparently made no bloopers!

I grew up in Dothan Alabama in the 70S and got to see Mel Tillis w/my parents...great concert...great singer...great storyteller.
I miss the 70s REAL country music and the artists.
You could actually talk to them and they would actually enjoy talking to you too.
A totally different era of entertainers and music that will never be duplicated...simply put... the best country music ever!

It really is sad to see these old timers that we grew up with die off, one after the other. We related to them for many reasons, but mainly we saw them in ourselves, and many of us from that generation really went through some hard times.Large families that were barely getting by,but looking back I wouldn't trade it for nothing.Wearing hand-me -downs.Waiting for the church bus.Privileged we were not.but we survived.Memories that I wouldn't trade for all the money in the world. We had a special love for Johnny,Elvis,Mel,George,Conway, Loretta, and many others... simply because they made it....R.I.P. Mel...and say hello to everybody for me.

My parents took me with them to see him live in late 60s. He told more funny jokes than he did singing songs. RIP Mel
Also Roy Clark and also Buck Owens in late 60s.

"No Bloopers Glen"! Love it! Thanks for sharing this rare clip, breautube. BTW, have you heard the movie's soundtrack? Glen Campbell and Roy Clark perform a blazing guitar duet on "Ghost Riders in the Sky"!
