I see Tim Conway in the thumbnail, I click because I know it's going to be hilarious.
Me too 😂
Me three😂
Me four!!
Fact!!
@@thegreyhoundgirls536 it certainly is !!!
This is a period piece with twin beds, the harvest gold blankets and hideous sheets. Those were the days!!
There was one skit where they slept in the same bed, but not at the same time. They worked different shifts and it was so funny because at the end, she said she was pregnant.
The sheets are billious! How could anyone sleep with those multicolored stripes.
I sure wouldn't want to sleep in twin beds with my wife!
Funny, when we were living in the decade of the hideous sheets, and harvest gold blankets, we never seemed to notice how hideous they were.
Fashion is all about what somebody started. Imitation.
I suggest we all chose
what we liked in a certain era or decade, and wear it and be happy.
I choose the Tudor era. My husband, the Roaring 20s. My daughter the medieval fashion.
My son, cowboy regalia.
Life would be very enjoyable.
@@maryshanley329, that's true! Plain sheets are so boring! LOL
Comedy Gold...my dad and I used to laugh until we cried watching the genius of Carol and friends. I miss those days.
One of the few shows I actually watched EVERY week with my step-dad.
I miss shows like this!
Same doll, same. Good clean family entertainment.
The closest thing on tv we have is Saturday Night Live from NBC which is a modern day variety show.
Yep, that's when "Hollywood" had talent!
TV was SO GOOD back then!!
Tim and Carol had amazing chemistry!
Yep.
When comedy was funny and hilarious not insulting and vulgar.
Thank you very much for the laughs!😂💙
I remember this skit from when the show first aired! I love the way Tim acts so innocent, but Carol is on to him!
Tom was always funny, but when Carol made him a permanent guest, he was at his best.
Tom who?
Tim, 😂😂😂
Todays young people, watching this. Are probably asking is that a phone? How do use it? Am showing my age. The Carole Burnett show was the best❤️
Watched it every Saturday night!
Depends on what you consider young and which whippersnappers you're asking. I'm in my 30s and know full well how to use a phone like that, as do my children.
fifth graders today cant use a push button phone...go figure
When Ed Sullivan Show went off the air it was wonderful that Carol Brunett decided to have a variety show which show case so many talented individuals and her talented and created staff. Loved her show for those 10 years or more. I sure do miss her and her show.
When TV was entertaining. :)
Great ending, when it turns out the wife was right about the phone call and the lights, etc. But she made sure he didn't get away with anything.
Carol, Tim, Vicki and Harvey were so friggin' hilarious together. My 2 favorites to this day are the elephant story and the Gone With the Wind parody.
That curtain rod!😂🤣😂
Same here
…..The dentist
@@edie1011 🤣😂🤣
The Elephant Story will live forever! Vicki took Tim down!
@@bvillebikelady3651Saw it in the window & had to have it. Lol.
The BEST comedy duo - EVER!
I injoy this show the most when tim is making Harvey break character
She is hands down the best entertainer we've ever seen !!
I don't know, Lucy was pretty amazing!
The two of them together was always a riot! 😂😂😂
How good it is to be a Carl Burnett subscriber - there is never a dull moment
Wait, who is Carl Burnett. Is that a signal, lol.
LOL@@airforce79
OMG I used to love to watch The Carol Burnett show. I would laugh until my side hurt
Classic! We need these shows back on!
We had the same sheets 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
So funny to see a landline phone. 😅
And a rotary!
Not funny. I love old fashion landline phones
I have one. It makes sense to me. It's a communication device.. no more...no less.😎👍🏼☎️
I won't give up my landline phone and I collect old phones.
It's funny😊 to see that color phone
In this crazy woke world of today, it’s wonderful to be able to watch this show!!
What a wonderful happy relief to just enjoy pure laughter!!!
We were sure lucky to have had Carol Burnett to bring such joy and laughter to our lives. Thank you dear God for that privilege we had in the past and those talented individuals that made our life a little bit better.
I love this and miss this type of comedy. The sleeping in separate beds. So old fashioned. People today don't remember that.
Well there was a time when you couldn't show two people sleeping in the same bed. The TV censors wouldn't allow it.
yeah, now they sleep in separate rooms....😁
@@erielakemusiccuz my wife can't handle my snoring 😆
Now they go at it on the kitchen counter. This was so much better!
@@me2ontube I can't sleep with noise ,. I wear ear plugs and a pillow over my ears. A few times I had to leave the room my wife was snoring so bad
"why didn't you say that?"
"I don't know.....i wish i would've".
Separate beds!😂
I've been married more than 15 years..... And yes, we have separate beds ❤
@yeahnoonecaresifyouarefirst 😊
The royals or aristocracy also slept in separate beds too. I think Queen Elizabeth slept in her own bed. Well, actually.... she could afford to sleep in her own castle too.
@@Krana-rt2yy lol! ❤️
True, you'd think they wouldn't be doing that in the 70's.
It's to give him a running start before she whacks him 😂
I figured she was going to be the one to sneak out, making the ending even funnier.
I had never seen this before now. I watch any video with Tim Conway in it 😂. The entire cast was perfect together. I miss them together so much but am grateful for videos.
back when i was in elementary school early 70s id runn home after school to watch this show
It was on on Saturday nights. You might be thinking of another show.
I bet you're a sweethart and funny!
The way she got her shot gun out 😂😆🤣❤
That's not a shotgun... Looks like an M1...
We need shows like this again
This was a funny skit. I never saw that ending coming.
I think my last girlfriend stole a page off that script 😂
My ex wife definitely did.
@@richardhoff1626 🤔🤣😂 😕😥
LOL 😁 is it a signal....
I don't know how I missed this one and finally saw it today. I've laughed til my insides ache after watching this clip.
Has anybody else noticed that Carol Burnett got better looking with age? She was a lot prettier at 45 than when she 25.
I agree! A little of it had to do with makeup style. 60's eyeliner tended to weigh down her eyes. And she did get cosmetic surgery. She famously had her chin reduced after she thought she was finishing filming "Annie", only to be called back in to do reshoots (like the "Easy Street" number), which is why she looks different in some scenes!
What are you talking about according to her..shes still 25.
Plastic surgery 😊
What a great show it was Tim Conway is soooo funny
This is every woman's logic
😂😂 didn’t see that ending coming…too funny…
I’ve watched this sketch over and over. It’s a great one! Very compact, expertly acted, and funny as all get out. I also like those bedsheets and the pattern that’s on them!
I didn't think it was going to end that way 🤣🤣🤣
Simple comedy at its best...😅🤣😂💯👍
One of the best CBS skits. Hilarious!😂😂😂
They were fantastic 😂😂😂
This is classic.OMG brilliant.
I love how she's not stupid LMMAO
I'm glad I grew up with this on TV every week.
If you've been married this is more familiar than funny.
You would have to be some kind of idiot to be married!
He should have waited a bit longer. Didn't give her enough time to really fall asleep. 😄
Well, I think it was the people's laughter that woke her up!
What talent.
back in the day when people felt obliged to answer
Love Tim conway
Oh, those were the days…70’s❤
With all the bedding and pyjamas let alone the twin beds! Tim and Carol, nothing could be more absurd!
They finally released an official version!
What a sweetheart
loved this show
Many husbands aren't smart enough to hide their dirt.😂😂😂
I grew up with this show The Carol Burnett show.
The cis what made the show come togather it was funny
Such classic humor with the very best comedians!!
Love Tim! I especially love Mr. Tudball and Mrs. Hawiggins.
I just love Carol Burnett Show and thank God she got a chance to show case her talent for the rest of us that loved variety show and boy did they put on a wonderful show each week.
Loved 'Mama's Family' too...
The good old days 😂
I lived that story as a child. But Carole and Tim make it funny.
This woman looks and even acts amazing like my wife.
Ha ha is it a signal lol 😂
I woke up and then my wife woke up and punched me. I had taken her watch...in a dream.
I remember this she’s right the whole time he’s telling lies 😊
Wonderful show and all the cast and so funny to
Best thing was I was watching this at 2:30 am and they got it right!!! 😃
Truly amazing comedy they were so good. I loved watching them. When I was a kid, my parents and I used to laugh our heads off.
One of my all-time favorite skits!! LOL!!! 😂😂😂😂
Thank you. I love it✨
That was quite the weapon fo choice! 🤣🤣
A good wife never gives up🤣
That’s how couples stayed happy by sleeping in separate beds!!!
Not this couple
Separate apartments even better.
totally NOT what i was expecting!😂🤣
The era when TV was clean - 2 beds, nothing vulgar, man and woman, no plunging necklines-- Today you can fill in the spaces😢
Her having an M1 Garand beside the bed is no joke
I always enjoyed the carol burnet show 😅
Love the twin bed site, and the odd assumption...
I took his side. Until... She's a much smarter woman than I am😂
Is that a signal of some sort.
Yap😂😂😂
When comedy was great.
These guys are always so funny. Some of the Carol Burnett skits have us in tears, especially when they team up Conway and Harvey Corman. One thing that I never cared for though, is that so many of the skits were centered around marital unfaithfulness. It even bothered me when I watched back when I was a kid.
Uh oh 😂😂😂😂😂😂
GREAT SKIT. THANK YOU
Fun!
I was married and this is what I went through. You cannot win with a mind like hers.We did not last very long
Classic😅
Oh, man!!! Superlative! Too good! ❤️🙌🤪🤟
A paranoid person only has to be right once!……I’m certain that I’ve read that somewhere once!
I was married to a very jealous man. This sounds just like him only he acted like Carol Burnette. You cannot win in a case like this
😂❤
Back in those days if you weren’t married you couldn’t be in the same bed on TV. Dick Van Dyke show also had Rob and Laura in separate beds. 😂
God bless
Oh, Yes! The days when "Hollywood" actually had talent!
Wow!
😂😂
My ex was like that, which is why she's my ex. Not a day went by that she didn't try accusing me of something I didn't do, or never even entered my mind.
I have the same PTSD. Except now it’s funny.
This character is like my grandmother. The mental gymnastics that go on in her head are baffling, as though she's trying to upset me. I don't talk to her anymore.
Husbands do it to wives, too. Goes along with trying to control and manipulate. Mine did me a favor by making me a widow.
@@leslieschott754 - Yes, so many men are abusive in many ways also. Sometimes death is the only way out (better him than you, of course).
Never saw that one! LMAO
