I met Tim and Harvey once. I gave Tim a hug and he jumped back and said “where’s my wallet!” My eyes flew open wide and everyone started laughing. The guy was the best!
"Harvey Korman and I had a running bet. Anytime one of us could break the other out of character, the winner got $50. - Harvey put three of my kids through school." - Tim Conway
I am really, really sick today, headache and all. This popped up on my feed so I. watched it. Sick or not, I guffawed. Oh my gosh. To have good comedy like this again.
It's funny you know, most people watch these old, clips for entertainment purposes and I do too, but I also, watch them for the awesome, outstanding, mind blowing, backdrops, as well. Most captured that era so, damn, well. Makes me long, big time, for a return of these styles again. Much of it if not all of it, anyway. Spindles for one thing, is an awesome decor feature in any era, I don't care what anybody says, and a return to these rich, earthy, colours would not hurt anyone. Agreed? Much Love and Warmest Wishes. Out.
@@emmelia-6068 : What we choose today, Darling, is utterly, devoid of all style, homeiness, and richness. Stark, drab, dead and as cold as people can make anything. I long to see a movement emerge that seeks a return to the vibrancy and richness of the past. That is more of what I'm getting at when I present comments like this. I'm not saying we need to revive every aspect of the styles, colour and richness of the 60s, 70s and 80s, - though that would not bother me in the least, if we did - but rather, learn from these decades and create something similar, today. This is yet, another, awesome, legacy this show preserves for all time, and yes, I too, get painfully, homesick and nostalgic for all we have lost in recent decades. If I were able to go back to this time period, I think I would and in a heartbeat, as well. God Bless, Dear, Dear, Carol, little could she have known the wonderous gift she created to pass on down, well, well, into the future. Warmest Wishes. Out For Now. 🙂🖐🏼
@@ivanj.conway9919 Oh I agree that many homes today, and many styles that are marketed today, look dreary and office-like. My home is not fancy but is homey with color, pattern, art (again, not fancy), some beloved objects, and BOOKS 🙂 and feels welcoming and cozy to me. You would be welcome here. 🙂Other people do feel better and calmer in a very bare or beige room but I tend to feel cold in that environment. I too would like to "go back" for many reasons (when I say "painfully" homesick it's true). Since that's not possible we try to move ahead, take the good parts of the past as much as possible, and create oases of love and comfort and hospitality. I have enjoyed your comments very much! I think there are lots of folks here who have similar feelings. A blessed day to you.
Vicky has AMAZING skin. Met her in LB in 95. End irrelevant comments. This is WRITING GENIUS. Tim Conway. ROLE MODEL! LOVE THIS SCENE BRAD. (kissy face, slurp doggy)
It's kind of sad that the "Carol and Sis" sketches had very little of Chrissy (sis) and was mostly Carol and Roger. I can understand that in the beginning first seasons Vicky was green and going to UCLA (she dropped out after two years), so they didn't use her much. But in these later seasons, she was an integral part of the cast. I only say this because, while I love Carol, I would have liked to see more of Vicky!
Harvey's cousin was my therapist. She's just as funny but still within professional appropriateness. In other words, she didn't laugh or crack jokes 🤣 when I was crying my eyes out. 😢
forgive my tangent: i wonder "what could have been," if carol's company had ever done a crossover with the golden gals' gang (that's just one, that comes to mind) ----- jesus, vicki chewed up half the scenery in only 1 line! 😂🤣😂 and was she actually painting something for the show?? even in the 1970s i don't think most productions would've went through _that_ much trouble to stain pants up!
Love people being kind, loving their animals. NOT PEOPLE who are bullies to them for a laugh! See tube videos by MOOP PETS, and ask them to remove. In their videos people hold GUNS to their cats head, among other cruelties.

Harvey K. could never keep from laughing... can't blame him. Tim rarely smiled and I don't know how he did it. Both brilliant!!
I TOTALLY love Tim Conway.
A variety show with pure gold for talent, that even in 2024, is just hilarious to watch today as when it first aired.
Great comedy.pure gold. My laughter woke the missus up lol😂😂
Carols facial expressions are fantastic
I remember this on the original show. Some of the best comedians ever in the same show. And Carrol is still incredible.
"Stella, Stella, come to me baby." My burst of laughter startled everyone in the neighborhood, I think.
To bad they don't make sitcoms like this anymore.this was the best show ever.and Time would have everyone in stitches. Even Carrol,Harvey, and Vikki

Hope you feel better today!
Laughter is the best medicine!
Great show, always
Exactly
The only show that packs surprises real in the moment actin
Carol Burnett, still the GOAT. Even with hackneyed material like this.
Ans she and Lucille were BEST FRIENDS. BOTH GREAT ACTRESSES❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤😂🎉 Brought viewers such joy and laughter.
When comedy was genuine and funny
How I did love Tim Conway! Even read his autobiography which is a joy. 💕
I read Carols autobiography. That was another good read!
Boy I remember many times watching that show, and lmao 🤣 😂 😆 Tim and Harvey was the best
The way Harvey looked down at her coming out of her shoes when she was hanging on to Lyle LOL
This is so hilarious! One of my favorites..
SNOOPY DID IT FOR ME. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have paintings of snoopy that I painted
@normajeancaballero What did Snoopy do for you? Shoot Baron von Richthofen?
Snoopy gets the Oscar + Emmy !! 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The elephant and dentist scenes are my favorites.

I don't choose these styles today, but the whole set makes me painfully homesick, nostalgic for my childhood ❤.

What a great show woman!!
I wouldn't mind being Stella for that Stanley.
Tim & Carol 'kudos' they can keep 'straight faces' in the skit👍😄
@2:12 How Carol looked at him after he said, "I'll be playing the part of Stanley..it's the part that Marlon Brando played in the movie." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I more suprised Harvey didnt break character again.....
Tim lived to break Harvey. And did it so well 😂😂😂
He sure did. Harvey had to hide his grin so many
Simply the best😂😂😂❤

Lyle Wagners poor ears. Carol could belt out those screams however cute they were.
Hilarious. 🤣
I really like Tim Conway's t-shirt 👕! I want one! 😊
7:22 laugh out loud funny!
Snoopy😂
Based on my experiences, Mr. Conway is clearly not one of worst scene partners I've had.
I asked my coworker if she had seen the show today now here it is in my suggested videos
Too funny…😂😂😂
Funny!

In our cicles… and all I thought about was Madeleine Khan’s line from the skit involving Eunice and Mama lol
OMG!!! That skit with Madeleine Kahn... I bust it STILL when I see it to this day almost 50 years later!
Oh ❤😮 So Fun 😂
LMAO 😎
Loved it!!
I'm STILL ROFLMBO 😂🤣
And from then on Lyle needed hearing aids 'coz his real ears got out of there really fast!
Harvey's cousin was my therapist. She's just as funny but still within professional appropriateness. In other words, she didn't laugh or crack jokes 🤣 when I was crying my eyes out. 😢
Lol!!!
❤😂🎉
❤we will never see such.pure comedy like this again no sexual lnnuendos😢
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
I would like to speak with the hair stylist.
150 lbs of Silly Putty; ouch!
8:49 😂😂😂😂
Did Harvey twisted his ankle at the end of the skit? It looked like it.
I always wondered whether Roger Corman and Harvey Korman were related
Lyle was a good looking man. His poor ears.
😂🤣😂❤
😂😂😂😂

NOT, these are nothing but wanna be replicas acting out the hoser’s and poser’s deals.
What?
Another irrelevant informercial! This was a gross Old Spice informercial.
WORST. NARRATION. EVER.
What narration? There was no narrator or narration at all. Just comedy.
