I’m super happy to see Shangela reach these heights! I watched her on DR and felt so bad for her because so many of the more experienced and more popular queens were so evil to her. But look at her now; she’s a world famous entertainer with a huge following, and in a major entertainment series as something more than a walk-on or cameo role. She has worked her butt off getting here, and it’s paying off. SLAY, Shangela! You go!

The U.S. DWTS is behind the others. There was a duo with two women on DWTS Israel back in 2010, but it was still revolutionary when JoJo and Jenna did it in the U.S. last year. I hope Shangela will follow Courtney/Shane's lead and drop the drag for one week. We need to see an obvious male-male partnership to open the door for more such pairings.
