    Ngozi, you are a blessing. I have been tormented with severe itchy and sheets of flaking scalp with sores for about 10 years. I went to a dermatologist a year ago and was prescribed Fluocinonide oil and Ketoconazole Shampoo. They did not work. I was miserable. It eliminated the flakes for the most part, but my scalp was still itching and very sore. It made going to the hair salon painful. I saw your video and immediately ordered the D3 and K2 MK-7. My scalp was feeling better during the first week. I almost thought it was my imagination. It's been a month, and I am still itch free! My hair is finally thriving, and my scalp is healing. I feel better, I have more energy and my skin is improving. And I stopped putting ANYTHING on my scalp. And surprisingly my hair is not dry. I do spray leave in conditioner on my hair a few times a week for moisture but nothing on my scalp. I wash my hair weekly and occasionally bi-weekly. I couldn't get the exact brand that you had suggested but I stayed true to the mcg's. Thank you so much! 😊

    I relate so much to what you said you had to go through to get your scalp in check. Having to try so many different medications and shampoos. It feels like a never ending cycle of getting your hopes up and losing your hope. Its so stressful. I am almost 110% sure something is wrong IN my body and not outside of it and thats why all these medications never work. Hows your scalp doing as of now?

      @@ngozinwafor magnesium citrate (I take powdered form) helped me with two issues I was having: 1) muscle twitching and 2)constipation. I was so worried that I was starting with Parkinson's disease when I started having these weird twitching episodes in the muscles in my arms, or hand or fingers. The twitching was similar to eye twitches but it was occuring often and not only in my eyes. It was random, frequent and very, very scary. My endocrinologist recommended magnesium he but didn't say there were all these forms to chose from. I eventually settled on magnesium citrate in powdered form with the help of dr berg for two reasons. The first reason was why I was taking magnesium in the first place (twitching) and the second was the expense. I found I could get a lot more doses for a lot less $$ if I bought powdered form. Also I could easily adjust the dose up or down if I needed to. Dr berg said if you are still constipated, take a little more. If you are a little in the other direction, take a little less. Plus this form is better absorbed than magnesium oxide (which wasn't helping me as much.) NOW: no more twitching & no more constipation for me! Good luck to you. Hope you find what works for you. Also, thank you for the info on itchy scalps. This is something relatively new for me. I will try the D3/mk7 combo.

      Same! I never had a problem with my scalp then out of no where it starts being itchy and flaky, I scratched so hard my hair came out around my front hair line. It's starring to calm down now. I do take Vit D3 that I got from Sam's club but I've been taking them for awhile. No oils go on my scalp now. I useto use oil frequently so maybe that's what flared it up.

    Thank you so much for sharing and it really gives me hope that there is a way to keep Pso away. Would like to ask a few questions.
    I saw Dr Berg’s video as well and he was recommending 40000IU of Vit D3 per day. But you didn’t start with that? I am hesitant to get into such high dose quickly so I’m glad to hear that 10000 IU seemed to work.
    Second question is, did u experience any side effects from high dose D3 like heart racing or disturbed sleep cycle?
    Thank you in advance for sharing.

    • @ngozinwafor
      @ngozinwafor  2 года назад +2

      Hello. Yes his recommended dose is too high especially if your not having labs consistently monitored. I have very low vitamin D levels so the 10000IU is not as high for me as someone with normal vitamin d levels. No i did not experience any side effects but I would recommend consulting with your doctor and getting labs done if taking anything over 5000iu daily.
