You’ll certainly love it here, if you learn how to live with long harsh winters 😅. I know you already know that, but to me, this is the only reason why anyone wouldn’t want to live here. Besides that, Montreal has it all ❤

Hey, a lot of respect for you just arriving in Montréal Québec and already learning and practicing French. Some people have been here all their life an can barely say Bonjour!
There's lots to discover in the province of Québec, great cities, towns and villages, great scenery around Québec City, Charlevoix, Gaspésie, Lac Saint-Jean, Îles de la Madeleine, amazing culture and good food, great traditions a true sens of nationhood lots of outdoor activities.
Wait till tout learn about Québec history and politics our national sport!
By the way, the first people to call themselves Canadien were the French setlers. The name Canada and Canadian was kind of recently stolen from us so we now call ourselves Québécois people.
    Bienvenue au Québec mon ami.

was in montreal a week ago (my brother's going to mcgill, wow, i know, very impressive) but goddamn the metro is so clean and modern. its also a safe city with lots of places to visit (old montreal FOR SURE, mont royal, biodome, etc.) there are so many parks, and its really walkable and nice. (my favorite is parc la fontaine, its just really big and nice) unfortunately, i had to leave montreal, and i was sad about it, not only cuz my brother is going off to university, but because it's purely such a great city. i'm happy that my family and i will visit it much more in the coming years!
