Kinda reminds me of my hometown, Detroit, Michigan. Very old and historic in some parts, thriving downtown, cool skyline, beautiful art, amazing food, and overall, just a fun place to hang out for the day (Yes I'm aware that Detroit has a LOT of problems, but I still love it!).
was in montreal a week ago (my brother's going to mcgill, wow, i know, very impressive) but goddamn the metro is so clean and modern. its also a safe city with lots of places to visit (old montreal FOR SURE, mont royal, biodome, etc.) there are so many parks, and its really walkable and nice. (my favorite is parc la fontaine, its just really big and nice) unfortunately, i had to leave montreal, and i was sad about it, not only cuz my brother is going off to university, but because it's purely such a great city. i'm happy that my family and i will visit it much more in the coming years!

Im very happy you love my city and you should definitely check out more the old port and try out the food there. If you go to place d'armes you can take the best route in my opinion and on the opposite side you can go to the china market. Wich the food there is amazing.

Mount royal was already cooler than anything Toronto had to offer nature and scenery wise. Maybe its better now that the virus hysteria has blown over
