My g/f of over 4 years has wandered to a new guy (different guy) for the 2nd time in 15 months and I've had enough. I only took her back last year because she dropped the guy and came back to me all on her own without me soliciting her to do so, which I felt was the purest form of knowing they missed you and loved you. The guy is pretty much my age. Just a year older. Well I found out about coach a year ago. So for the past year I've never been friendzoned. I did almost get my ex back. BUT here's the thing. I changed because of my coach. But she was still the same. I didn't like her attitude sometimes. So I moved on and NEVER fucking looked back. It's called moving on. Great video! Especially after 12:00 minute the things corey explains are sooo true ( i myself made the mistake of the 30 days no contact and then send her texts. This hardly ever works, and even if it does you will still be weak and at some point you will end up breaking up again). Well my situation was quite unusual. I had an LDR ex gf that through a mix of bad luck and the pandemic prevented both of us from be able to actually meet for the first time. The situation dragged on for 18 months. Back in November last year I told her to hang on until March as I felt things would open up in her country (I was proven right about that) , she initially agreed but by the time we got to late December/early January she was pessimistic about things ever opening up and depressed by news that their might be compulsory vaccination where she lived. To cut a long story short she impulsively decided to find a solution which was that she found a guy on a local dating site. Also due to a number of issues in her past she was insecure and fearful of being abandoned by guys that she really liked a lot so would abandon them before they abandoned her (long distance made her even more fearful) She always seemed to feel I was having sex with other women when I wasn't at all. So a combination of those two things led to her splitting and going off with the rebound guy. I tried for months and months to get her back as I felt I'd been dealt a huge injustice and wasn't convinced that it would last with her and the rebound. I finally met her in the city where I live (she was on a visit with her teenage daughter) and we shared a hour or so together and a brief moment of intimacy and for a few weeks it seemed to cause a bit of emotional conflict for her which gave me a bit of hope I could get her to be my woman but it now looks like she has completely refocused her energies back to the rebound and seems to becoming more distant. Beyond frustrating. Will haunt me for a long time. I don't even believe she is in love with the rebound either (a safe and convienent relationship) which just adds to the pain.

The guy is pretty much my age. Just a year older. Well I found out about coach a year ago. So for the past year I've never been friendzoned. I did almost get my ex back. BUT here's the thing. I changed because of my coach. But she was still the same. I didn't like her attitude sometimes. So I moved on and NEVER fucking looked back. It's called moving on. Nice video, I'm still struggling with the end of my 7-year relationship. My significant other, who I considered to be the love of my life, left me a month ago, and I can't seem to shake the constant thoughts of her. Great video! Especially after 12:00 minute the things corey explains are sooo true ( i myself made the mistake of the 30 days no contact and then send her texts. This hardly ever works, and even if it does you will still be weak and at some point you will end up breaking up again). If you respect yourself you wouldhnt reach out to someone that dumped you and thats something very valuable i learned from corey. It seems common sense but most of us bombard ex's with texts and calls instead of walking away and never look back. I am really thankfull that i found corey, he can really open our eyes and mind in times when they are closed and out of hope. Merry x-mas corey!

That answer is: ONCE. You reach out and let them know you’re sorry(truly) and you know you fucked things up. That you want to fix your mistakes. All with the intent to walk away and never look back after you’ve said these things to her. If she responds positively, you make the move to the “date once a week” concept. If she responds negatively, or not at all, you walk away. You never look back. You’ll only push her away or into someone else’s arms, if you continue to chase her.

Recently just broke up with my girlfriend.. hurts because as soon as I was ready to commit and we did.. 2 months later she had a lot of shit going on (I know this shit should infact make her closer me) however I fucked up.. Well my situation was quite unusual. I had an LDR ex gf that through a mix of bad luck and the pandemic prevented both of us from be able to actually meet for the first time. The situation dragged on for 18 months. Back in November last year I told her to hang on until March as I felt things would open up in her country (I was proven right about that) , she initially agreed but by the time we got to late December/early January she was pessimistic about things ever opening up and depressed by news that their might be compulsory vaccination where she lived. To cut a long story short she impulsively decided to find a solution which was that she found a guy on a local dating site. Also due to a number of issues in her past she was insecure and fearful of being abandoned by guys that she really liked a lot so would abandon them before they abandoned her (long distance made her even more fearful) She always seemed to feel I was having sex with other women when I wasn't at all. So a combination of those two things led to her splitting and going off with the rebound guy. I tried for months and months to get her back as I felt I'd been dealt a huge injustice and wasn't convinced that it would last with her and the rebound. I finally met her in the city where I live (she was on a visit with her teenage daughter) and we shared a hour or so together and a brief moment of intimacy and for a few weeks it seemed to cause a bit of emotional conflict for her which gave me a bit of hope I could get her to be my woman but it now looks like she has completely refocused her energies back to the rebound and seems to becoming more distant. Beyond frustrating. Will haunt me for a long time. I don't even believe she is in love with the rebound either (a safe and convienent relationship) which just adds to the pain.
I'm trying to follow all your advice. Its a little different for me because she's my wife. I thought we had a beautiful relationship and two weeks ago I went to go get groceries and she was gone. She's barely spoken to me and says she'll call me this Saturday. I've scheduled us marriage counseling for the next Monday. It will have to be fully virtual as she is clear across the nation. I have little hope she's coming back. I fully believe her family and my ex from 10 years ago are basically poisoning her mind against me. Im doing what is suggested. I havnt spoken or tried to for a week now. But I'm in the military and having to go about my career soon. I want her to come back but I dont have time for her to figure her crap out. I cheated on my ex. Huge screw up! Been hurting and depressed about it. I hurt the one I love and hurt myself even worse. It's been 3 weeks. She remains in contact with me. We've even had sex a few times. She loves me and know I still love her, but she understandably doesn't wanna be together now. But she said she still wants to with time so I can prove myself to her. How do I prove myself to someone who doesn't wanna be in a relationship? Trust is broken. Going out with other girls in my situation would definitely make things worse. Also she lives at home and her mom doesn't want her talking to me. But she does anyway. We have been going to counseling (she's been willing) and I've been working on myself. What else can I do to help get her back? She wants me but is scared of getting hurt again.

My situation is kind of different, it was a long distance one and I reached the point where I wanted more and it pushed her away. After telling me she didnt want to do this anymore, she also mentioned if she ever moved back to GA maybe we could try again and that our timing was just off.
At this point I think its clear she doesnt want any kind of relationship right now, but im still left with a mountain of feelings. What is the difference between staying as a friend with an ex and replying after No Contact when the ex reaches out to you with: "Hey, it is graet to hear from you again, I miss you. When do you have time to get together?" Isn't it the same as just being a backup plan for the ex? I mean if she contacts me and I say I want to see her, is this not being weak always available?

Why are the kids never mentioned? It’s fine to get over an ex when no Kids are involved but surely there must be better reasons to leave someone then just feeling not in love with someone anymore.
