- Before we moved house late last year, Mrs Beard went shopping one day and came back with ten cans of Pringles. "Lets try and eat them all for a video" she said. "Lets not" I replied.
Now we're slowly working our way through any edible non-perishables we've got lying around, it seemed like a good idea. Well, not a good idea. But a better idea than it seemed last year.

**UPDATE**
In answer to general questions regarding current social restrictions and the impact this has on the channel, please see below:
Q: How are you going to keep making videos?
A: Things are going to be different for a little while for sure, but I think now more than ever it's important to try to put out videos that people enjoy. It's going to be an adjustment, but I've got plans and I'm confident I can still make some enjoyable stuff despite limitations on travel etc.
Q: How can you get food?
A: The way I see it, there's an opportunity to contribute to local restaurants that have moved to delivery-only services, in addition to limiting the necessity to shop for food in public. This isn't about scoring brownie points, but it does provide a useful and mutually beneficial solution to the problems posed by current necessary social restrictions.
Q: Isn't doing this right now distasteful?
A: Though I can see the reason for the question, I disagree. Given that I maintain both my bodyweight and health by eating in an extreme caloric deficit on the days of the week I'm not filming, I'm well versed in not eating more than I require over time. It's how I do what I do while remaining in good health. That said, of course I'm not going to walk into my local store and buy 16 loaves of bread. A common sense approach to creating videos is of course is the way to go, and if we all shop for conveniences responsibly, current supply chains are robust and equipped enough to deal with perfectly adequate food provisions.

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Evening all! This one is just a bit of a daft video for all the people missing the back seat blow out series. Mrs Beard had this idea a long time back and I've being putting it off 'cause I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to eating sharp stuff. Anyway we decided to have a crack at 1000 Pringles...Hope you enjoy it! It was certainly a big laugh to film.

At the end y’all just cracked me up! I had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. I was afraid Beard would choke on the chips in his mouth, and happy that didn’t happen. You’re such a great couple and team.
Love the way Mrs. Beard keeps picking up the tube then putting it down again. That's the same as pushing the peas around the plate with a fork without actually eating any as a child :-)

Its the only challenge Ive seen so far where I haven’t thought… how? Pringles are so easy to mindlessly eat one after another watching a film. I brought 3 cans, had to stop myself after eating after a can and a half. They go down so easy!
Been watching lots of food challenge videos lately and this is the first one I know I could do and enjoy it but have to be flavours I like! Good challenge!

This was a new video to me. What a fun video. At 15 minutes when Mrs. Beard started cracking up and Mr. Beard was sitting there after eating all of those pringles glass shards (practically), I figured he'd had enough. Those Pringles really do tear up a mouth. But this was so much fun to watch them play off each other. They really do love each other. Very fun video to watch.

The UK has so many weird Pringles flavors.
I looked it up and this is an interesting fact: Pringles are manufactured in five factories around the world: Jackson, Tennessee; Mechelen, Belgium; Johor Malaysia; Kutno, Poland and Fujian, China.
Flavours....
It’s all relative…China would say US has “weird flavors”….personally I love the UK flavors and don’t consider them “weird”
When I was a kid I used to have no problem finishing off an entire tube of the sour cream flavor in a sitting. The last time I had them (a couple years ago) I couldn't even get halfway through, they're so damn salty nowadays.

Did a Pickled Onion Space Raiders challenge one time, managed 18 x 20g bags in around 45 minutes before my face felt like it was melting off. I had huge puffy lips for weeks afterwards, was savage. I think Pringles are a lot gentler on the gums maybe?

Sour cream is my fave. I can eat at least 2-3 tubes /day. They can be addictive. I use to like the lays version better but they started making them too salty. So had to stick to pringles. It’s one of those things I eat only when I have a craving.
Sour cream & onion and honey mustard are good flavors. Props for getting thru those others!

I used to work with a fellow who once operated machinery in a potato processing plant. His major takeaway from that experience, he told me, was "never eat Pringles."
This is the only challenge I’ve seen you do that I think - I’d never be able to do it, but it would be fun to try.
Now all I want to do is eat Pringles, especially the Flavors I've never tried.

The salt and vinegar ones are my absolute favourite crisp of all time. I ate a whole tub the other night. They’re only coated on one side in seasoning and I always eat them that way round for ultimate sourness 😍😍 despite it ripping the roof of my mouth to shreds. And funnily enough I like the pain in my mouth while eating them and it somehow makes me carry on 😂💀 *currently got a cut mouth from salt and vinegar crisps now while eating another packet during this*

I'm not a competitive eater nor even close to that level but I can polish of 2 tubes of pringles in a few minutes with ease and still want more so I may try this.

At Kroger, we got the wavy pringles too, and pizza flavor ones, the wavy has the Tangy BBQ flavor, and Ranch, all good stuff. Gotta love Pringles. I'd love to say Sour Cream is my favorite, but the Tangy BBQ, Pizza and Ranch are up there. The Jalepeno is good too.

I hate to admit it but YES we were having supper when I turned this one on. (for the record I am a proud Irishman but what I made for supper is not exactly Irish) We had home made bangers and mash with a side of mushy peas and bread and butter. FYI we live in Tampa Florida in the US
